I will preface this by saying I'm not a big steak eater due to my alpha gal meat allergy of which I've been cured but as a result I do not consume much red meat these days.... So maybe this is a review for someone who's NOT looking to eat steak at a Steakhouse I've been to Outback and Texas Roadhouse. I've tried multiple dishes of poultry or seafood at both. Never a bad experience. This was my first time at LongHorn....absolutely delicious! I had the Parmesan crusted chicken. The smaller portion I believe 9oz. Nice amount of chicken. I cut my first piece with a fork and tender as can be! The flavor wow! A great combo with the signature sweet potato with the cinnamon and butter thank you very much! I upgraded to the fire grilled corn on the cob....daaaaaangggyup! Fire! I could've gone for 2 more of those bad boys but "now now ....dont over do it sir, that corn will come back to haunt you if you over indulge " Overall, I was extremely impressed and will return to try other items. As for the rest of our party. One of the young fellas is actually an employee at another Longhorn location. He had a Longhorn burger for the first time and was impressed. Another had steak and man it looked good! He woofed it down and had no complaints...3 others all had the salmon. Not parm crusted. All 3 said delicious they'd get it again which makes me wanna give it a go next time! However, I might go with the parm crusted salmon because of my excellent experience with the Parm crusted chicken! Overall I rank Longhorn number one over the other 2. The night began with the Spicy Chicken Bites, recommended by our waitress Nicole, and my family and I were fighting over the chicken with our forks for the last piece. Then I wrangled myself some Flo's Steak, and this steak was so darn good, you can tell Flo I said hello! I also recklessly decided to tackle the Stampede Dessert, and it didn't stand a chance. If you find yourself at Longhorn, chances are Texas Roadhouse and Chili's are too busy. The food is ok, but it's almost like getting a steak from a classy retirement home. It lacks seasoning. Steak shouldn't have much in the line of seasoning, just salt and pepper if it's a good steak and cooked right. I just can't find out if they over season it with the wrong seasoning or under season it with the right seasoning. Either way, something ain't right. Service is usually pretty good, food is overpriced, and menu is limited. Looks fancy, but don't let it fool you. It's the steakhouse that your wife or girlfriend would suggest and they end up getting fish or chicken! read more

Mixed review. Our bartender/waitress Maddie O. Was absolutely stellar. This issue was the steak received . I ordered an 8oz. Sirloin cooked med÷rare. Maddie agreed looking at a center slice of the meat that it was overcooked. It was received med/med-well. Asking for a new steak the manager Bryan Lawler returned the same steak arguing that it was fine as ordered. His arrogance and refusal to acknowledge the overcooked steak was off-putting and disappointing. He offered nothing of relevance other than a patronizing gesture. Went on a Saturday around 6. It was busy, but the service was attentive. She came by to let us know about our drink order being delayed. The bread was nice and warm. The berry sangria was great. The mushroom app was good with lots of cheese. The Salad was fresh. Both the ribs and the rib eye steak were very good. All the food was perfect. read more

Wonderful early dinner. The 6oz filet was cooked exactly medium and very tender. The salad with white balsamic dressing was cold and crisp three different types of lettuce , plus tomatoes and cucumber with croutons and cheese. I opted for a baked sweet potato with brown sugar and butter steaming hot yummy. A smooth glass of red wine from our very attentive server and I was a very happy lady. He's the "manager" apparently that either drew the short straw or his past experience, maybe flipping burgers gave him the confused confidence to think he could handle that job. This also speaks of the failures of Aldo's boss. Just shameful customer service and inability to run a restaurant was clearly indicated with Aldo. Hire someone who wants the job, clearly he doesn't. Service was above excellent, unfortunately my food was not! I ordered a half rack of ribs. The ribs tasted like they were old, hard. They did not fall off the bone. Even with extra bbq sauce the taste was lacking. I ordered a loaded sweet potato with my meal. This included butter and brown sugar. I asked if they had marshmallows to top off the " loaded" sweet potato. The answer was no. The only part of the meal that was enjoyable was the salad and the server. read more

We have dined here many times, unfortunately it seems as time goes on the overall quality of this restaurant has gone down hill. Our most recent visit 11/4 was full of disappointments. The wine glasses were extremely dirty, the small food plates were dirty as well. The bread was cold in the middle. Our waitress was stretched thin which was ashame but she did take the time to greet and say she would be right back. She checked on us often and made sure we were all good. Our main courses were good with the streak cooked to the right temperature. Overall value for the food is a little low as the prices continue to rise but for nothing in return. As we went to leave we stopped in the bathroom for a pit stop and both the men's and women's room were very dirty. We opted in for call ahead seating and the wait time was said to have been 30-40 minutes. We were told to check when we arrived as we did , but we were still 6th on the list . We then had to wait another 30 minutes before being seated. While eating our meals a shard of glass flew from a broken beer bottle and landed on our table. Which was a little scary not knowing if any other pieces had landed in our drinks or appetizers! When finally receiving our meal , the runner brought out the wrong entree and then the kitchen had to totally remake the right one while my boyfriend waited to eat his dinner and his food began to get cold . Recently my wife and I visited this LongHorn. It had been one of my favorite local restaurants but this recent visit was very bad. The outlaw ribeye was ordered medium/rare but delivered bad. On the first cut I saw raw/rare meat between two thick leather like edges. I sent it back and the manager returned it cooked worse. I came here with a colleague since we were in the area, and have long known the chain name, but never thought about giving this place a try. Hence, our journey began. First off, the place was really dead for lunch, which was a little surprising. Then, we simply wanted to order steak with crab cakes and asparagus - nothing else - no sides or anything. After 10 minutes or so, we were told there was no crab cakes. What? Why have that as a special then? Very strange. Oh, and the asparagus was a special request too; very weird. 3/2019 my second review of this restaurant. I don't like chains and will compare and contrast this restaurant - a chain - to a place I go regularly, Martino's in Vineland. This place doesn't take reservations - Martino's, a family owned Italian restaurant does and they know me by name and know which table. Mr. Martino is there often and his son takes his place as needed. Our regular server, Tish, has been there for 16 years - since their first day in business. I have never met Mr. Longhorn. The steak was good, the server pleasant. She won't be there in a few months and it's impossible to get the personal service I prefer at any chain. Martino's will gladly make changes to a dish if possible. More shrimp and less scallops - no problem. A different sauce - no problem. I won't bore you with all of the differences. read more

This particular location & this chain can rival any upscale steakhouse. Since it's a mid priced steakhouse it's affordable. Most of the steaks come very well seasoned so if you are concerned about salt, pepper & other spices order it unseasoned. Personally I rarely use salt but I tolerate the seasonings here well. The salads, and the sides are always good no matter what you choose. My husband likes that the baked potatoes are always perfectly done & taste done to order. The hot Bread & Butter is always good. The waitstaff is always pleasant & the wines & liquor are made well. I'd say the Molten Lava Cake is the best anywhere. The restrooms & Restaurant is clean. When it is busy the noise level is high and it can get busy. Even then the meals come out in a timely fashion and hot! Enjoy! read more

I can't give more than a one star review to a restaurant I didn't eat at. I will keep this Short and to the point. My husband and I stopped into Longhorn on Friday night for a quick bite to eat. The bar had a few people and the dining room was also 2/3 empty. The hostess at the front desk stated without a smile you can have a seat it's going to be at least five minutes..... we are in the middle of shift change. What???.... Which I thought was ridiculous because after working for a chain restaurant, as a server for many years I know that shift change is not a "shut down the seating process" kind of ordeal. We waited several minutes as another hostess came up to the front and we watched as they wiped menus and talked amongst themselves. My husband became frustrated stepped outside, and as he did so, the manager came towards the front.... I assumed to seat us since we had been waiting there several minutes. Instead he began talking to the hostess and looking over what must've been the evening seating chart.... never acknowledging that I was standing only a couple feet away waiting to be seated. Several more minutes past. My husband walked back in, and we made the decision to leave and visit another local steakhouse, where I must say the service was impeccable. ( And the establishment was packed) As we walked out the manager quickly tried to state "we're ready to seat you now folks !!! Don't leave " as we were literally walking out the door. Unfortunately this was too little too late. I will end with this, IF had we been smiled at....greeted as guest.....had any eye contact with the manager...... or treated in anyway like we were of any general importance, rather than an inconvenience, we would have waited. ( As I said .....was a server for many years and understand many of the behind the scene issues that can happen, which makes me a very understanding guest, but general rudeness...... I will never tolerate!!!!!) I've gone to restaurants where the food is mediocre but still enjoyed my visit due to wonderful service. I know that chain Restaurants generally rotate management, it might be time to rotate out your Vineland crew , or you will continue to lose customers. And the next time my husband and I are in the mood for a quick steak .....Longhorn will certainly not be our first thought or even our second .....‍ read more
