My boyfriend and I went to the Texas Roadhouse in Milton on a busy Saturday night, and was told our wait would be 15 to 20 mins. My boyfriend kidded the hostess and said that's not acceptable. Lol. We weren't out there 4 mins and was called. Our waiter was Blane and he was the best! Very attentive, and when my boyfriend sent the steak back to cook a little more, he was so accommodating and gracious. And when it was brought out, another person came with him and wanted to ensure it was cooked enough. This young waiter is what all waiters should aspire to. Keep up the good work Blane. This Texas Roadhouse location always has great service and great food! This visit, I got the Ribeye steak and shrimp Texas Combo paired with a loaded baked potato and their seasoned rice. My steak was grilled perfectly to medium-well and the shrimp was seasoned to perfection. Quick hack: add the shrimp to a side of seasoned rice and it tastes superb! Also order a cactus blossom and add some petals to a house salad. It tastes sensational! My family absolutely loves Texas Roadhouse and this is one of our favorite locations. I can tell that the community and people from surrounding areas really love this location as well. I don't make reviews often, but I have to drop my opinion - Maddy here is the BEST! Give that girl a raise!! She is very knowledgeable about the menu options, gave great recommendations, and made sure to check on us often. Topped off our drinks without having to ask. Served us with a WONDERFUL attitude, and even made us laugh a few times. I came in on my birthday yesterday and I was TERRIFIED that the staff would pull out the saddle... Maddy was extra sweet when I explained I have anxiety and would really not prefer to have that attention on our table, and brought me a brownie / wished me a happy birthday instead. I bit into a screw while starting my dinner off with a cesar salad, the waitress was shocked and offered to give me a new salad. I didn't get any coupon or gift card for this incident just a "sorry" from the waitress. Ambiance is peanuts all over the floor and an hour to hour and a half wait time, not a great turnaround rate. Food was good however receiving a screw in my salad wasn't on my mind for the night. I recommend this place however make sure you check your food before eating - you might get a surprise that you didn't ask for. I won't be coming back that's for sure! read more

Should have left when I got there and saw the mold growing in the toilets! The woman's bathroom hasn't been cleaned in at least a week! After waiting 30 minutes we sat. Our waitress Em (she said her name was Emily name tag differed) was sweet. However she took our kids drink order then left. Well an hour after placing our order and tables who appeared to be regulars or employees ordering, and finishing their food before we got ours I'm pretty much done! After 4 minutes I saw a manager singing and dancing by the computer so I asked her! (Small young blonde) can you check on my kids food? We've been sitting for over an hour and I'm pretty sure that burger and steak bites that have been sitting in the window for several minutes before I started my watch and at this point my watch is 4.5 minutes. Sooo they took that food out to other tables!! We decided let's just get our drink tab. Well of course our waitress Em who's now on the defense comes up in so sorry it's coming out now. Well, we don't want it! An hour after order and watching other people come and go! My kids are asleep in the booth! The tried to shame us! Your food's here we can box it! Nope! It will just get thrown away, feed it to the homeless! I'm done with this roadhouse! The new building has done nothing for them. They think because they're the only nice restaurant in Milton the can get away with garbage and as a restaurant person born and raised I'm here to tell you nope! They should have their franchised pulled, they know nothing about Texas/southern hospitality!! I will add that while on a 30 minute wait they had servers closing their stations and trying to leave at 7:45! This is the busiest restaurant in Milton! You're not understaffed! There's no excuses!! We love this restaurant, we have ate here and other roadhouse for many years. The reason for the 2 stars is last Friday 7-30-22. We ate here and both my wife and myself got sick shortly after eating here. Stomachache and not feeling well. I think we got food poisoning. From what I don't know. This is the last place we ate and it happened shortly after eating here. The may have got some bad food and did not know it. They do a tremendous amount of business here. You have to wait to get seated. It's going to take us a little while to get over this before we return. read more

We were so excited about the new building opening up for business but what an disappointing first visit! The "Filet medallions" were TOUGH and had gristle. Everyone knows that is not typical of Filet. The sautéed mushrooms were black and greasy. My friends New York Strip was tough and didn't resemble a typical New York Strip. The only good thing was the salads, baked potato and the service. They were very busy and she did a great job. However, we won't be back. This place was amazing. I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was the best I have ever had. It was as big as the entire plate it was served on and the dish with two sides was only 11.99. I also got loaded fries which were also great and a delicious house salad with incredible ranch dressing. I left feeling restored that their are places out there that are more than than fair on their portions and prices. This place is an hour from where I live but easily will make the decision to drive to Milton just to go eat at this place. The service was outstanding as from the moment you step in to the time you leave. The Managers at this facility are doing a great job on the direction of where things need to be. Can't edit a previous review because too much time has passed, so I'm repeating because I got a 'compliment' - which was actually not a compliment. My review was about how horribly cold the restaurant is. The person who 'complimented' me told me to consider the wait staff, not myself, and to get a jacket. So...let me clarify: 3 of the 5 people in our party had jackets; the other two wished they did. In addition, some employees were wearing jackets: the hostesses, the person who seated us, and at least a couple of the wait staff. When a comment was made to the person who seated us about how cold it was, she apologized saying she understood *completely*! Overall, the food was good, came out fast, and our service was attentive, though never got back to us about questions we had on specials, deals, etc. Areas to improve: 1. Speakers - please get these replaced. The speakers here are dying and noticeably. The music had crackles and static throughout and it was super annoying. 2. Don't salt the seasoned rice so much. For that matter, the peanuts too, though I get it, those are your vehicles for selling more beer. 3. Offer kids specials, especially when they are advertised on the billboard in the parking lot. 4. Smoke the ribs. I am pretty sure mine were baked, but if nothing else, cook them with either a dry rub or more sauce. Very selfish company. I am upset that we supported them a lot during the lockdown. They only did the family packs during that time so they could stay open and i am very upset they quit. Staff was great, food was really good and service was quick. I got the filet salad and the meat was cooked great.
