Food is usually good, although the wait time after you order runs from 28 to 35 minutes. Even a cheese fry appetizer takes close to 20 minutes. Most of the time they forget your salad and it is delivered 1 to 2 minutes before your meal. My husband and I both ordered wine, he ordered the larger 8 or 9 oz pour and I ordered the regular glass. When delivered both glasses were the exact same. We told the person who delivered the wine and she just looked at us and said she'd let the server know and we waited for over 10 minutes for her to come before we took a sip of our wine. My family of 7 went last night and were seated right away. We arrived around 7pm and the restaurant was about half full. We were seated in the back and got our drinks and appetizers rather fast. Took the family out for lunch today. Used the online app for the seating list which I highly recommend. Seating staff was friendly. Our waiter Russ was very good and the place was clean. Problem was the steaks. Ordered med-rare received medium they redid the steak this time received med-well. Both mine and my wife's steak just tasted like plane meat grilled not seasoned or anything. This was my family's first visit to the new restaurant. Our food was good our waitress was awesome but the atmosphere was absolutely horrible. We had to yell at each other to be heard. Waitress were running with plates of food to tables. Dishes were crashing. Happy birthday was being sang every few minutes. It overall was not a good experience. This place is, what it is. A roadhouse look, with some of the nicest people I've met. I had the steakhouse filet salad... fresh crisp lettuce, well seasoned and perfectly cooked steak. My wife had the herbed crusted chicken, it was one of the best prepared chicken dishes she had eaten in a restaurant, juicy and tender. This visit exceeded our expectations. The past several visits, the food has been consistently good...actually very good. We sit at the bar to avoid waiting for a table and the bar tenders are always attentive. Seated quickly during a busy time. Great waiter (Michael), good front of house leader (Cody) good service, what was cooked correctly was good. Alas, if a steak restaurant can't cook a steak correctly then none of that really matters. Ordered a 12oz ribeye medium well and it came out rare. The waiter and front house manager both agreed it was not even close. It was returned for a recook and returned. As the manager watched me cut into it again we see it is now on the low side of medium rare. (See picture. This was after it was already returned once). Cody was very apologetic and did everything in his power including of course not charging me for that portion of the meal and also giving us a credit towards a future meal. I don't think he could have done any more than he did and he acted completely appropriately. I told the waiter though that this is a steak house and if they can't cook a steak right after already returning it once then I would likely ask corporate why they are even in the steak business. He went to get the kitchen manager. As diplomatically as I could, I asked him what kind of Mickey Mouse operation he was running in the kitchen. It's a steak house and he let a return go back out again still two levels under cooked from the order. As we are looking at a blood red cold steak that was ordered medium well and already sent back once...he says we are running a very well put together kitchen. So I didn't have to pay for a screwed up order and I get free entertainment on top of it. I really feel like I made out on this one!! I rarely do reviews but Roadhouse steak house in Milton was a little disappointing on our last visit. Cody did a great job. But my steak and veggies did not came out well. This is a laid back steakhouse that has the best bbq ribs I have EVER had.. The ribs here are so meaty, tender, and fall off the bone juicy. The prices are extremely reasonable. My mother and father go to Texas Roadhouse regularly. Now I see exactly why they frequent this place!! I would definitely come back to eat here the next time I'm in town. I really wish I could find a good ribs place like this in my area, unfortunately I don't think anything could compare or even come close after eating the ribs here. I've been going to this location since the original building opened. Quality has been steady for years, but since the new building was erected the food quality has nosedived. They may be able to sneak these things past other people but the rolls are now of lower grade than freezer aisle equivalent. Same for the chicken tenders (one of their shining points) now tasting like something Tyson produces. The sides aren't cooked properly either. I'm sure a steak that requires nothing other than fire or a salad that has to be mixed still tastes decent but this place has changed. I won't be going back anymore unless family insist. read more

I have tried this location three times now and it has been a consistent let down. Service is terrible and the hostesses are experts at texting and snap chatting but not paying attention to customers. Waiters and waitresses seem like they are more concerned with getting done with their shifts than actually getting your order correctly. And it also coats .99 cents extra for it over the other sides as well. Very frustrating to go to a southern restaurant and expect some good southern Mac-N-Cheese, but get boxed Kraft instead. Other than that, the food and service were extraordinary. If the Mac would've actually been made in-house, the review would've been at least 4, maybe even 5 stars. We went to this location on May 1, 2015, at 11:57 am.. We were served by a very nice young lady named Carly. We were seated promptly and soon afterward a large party of about 20 were seated next to us. We were worried that we would be ignored by the waitress because she was so busy with the overwhelming crowd. Not the case! She was kind, courteous, kept our drinks filled and even took the time to ask how we enjoyed the food. She was busy, busy, busy, but had a great attitude and made sure we were well taken care of. Our bill was only $33.00 but we left a $20 tip because the service (and the food) were exceptional. I would recommend this location to everyone and we will definitely be back. Manger stated there would be 45 more minutes min. and was a jerk about that. He was stating that they had a small area for groups and we just had to accept that. Well let's just say that this place is rocking and rolling-lots of people eating here and that is a good sign. This place has great steaks and good wait staff-Grilled chicken sandwiches are always good and the loaded baked potato is wonderful. I will visit here again and try the burgers and bring along the burger tour guys as well. One thing to note that the staff albeit good, needed to be more timely when addressing a issue with a coupon-and as always when in doubt-the customer is always correct, need I say more. I arrived about 10 min before my scheduled pick up and was immediately greeted and told that the kitchen was still working on my order and it would be out shortly. About 30 min after my scheduled pick up time I finally got my food. Arrived home which is about 5 min away and my food was cold like it had been sitting out for 20+ minutes. I'm ok with my food running a little late because the business is busy, but it should at least be hot when you receive it. They are always packed, and it is usually really loud in there, but we have always had a nice server each time we have eaten there, the food comes out pretty quickly, and the food is always hot and flavorful.
