Cheese, sautéed mushrooms and two sides. Yes it might look like minced meat but it is still juicy and delicious by my standards. I usually go for the loaded baked potato which can be slightly salty so do let the waitress know to be gentle on the salt. Their blooming onion isn't a bad appetizer choice either! Peanuts! One of my favorite restaurant chains. When seated you are given a basket of fresh & hot dinner rolls with a homemade cinnamon honey butter, yummy! You also get a bucket of peanuts, so so good. You never need to order an appetizer here. But if you should want to they have a great blooming onion appetizer. I've been here dozens of times and usually get the Dallas filet and or the ribs. The Dallas filet is always really tender and juicy. The ribs are always cooked perfectly and the meat falls off the bone. I always pair my meal with a salad because they're Italian dressing is my favorite. All of their dressings are homemade except for the lite versions. I also like to get either a loaded baked potato or a loaded sweet potato. If you get a loaded baked potato it comes loaded with butter, sour cream, cheddar cheese, bacon bits and chives. If you select the loaded sweet potato it comes loaded with that delicious cinnamon honey butter and marshmallows. On this particular visit our server was Melissa. She was very nice and super attentive. The only reason I didn't give a five star review was because my filet wasn't cooked properly. I requested it to be cooked to medium but there was no pink, it was probably more of a medium well. I didn't complain because it was still good and didn't want to see it in the trash. You always get large portions of food here and prices are always reasonable. A solid choice for a good meal. read more

We did call ahead seating and we're told it would be 50-60 minutes. In actuality, it was closer to 2 hours. They kept running out of rolls, so told us they would bring some as soon as they were done. They brought 4 rolls for the 6 of us. When they finally brought our food, most of it was delicious. However, one plate delivered had charred black chicken and a burnt sweet potato, rather than herb crusted chicken. The waitress was wonderful and offered to get replacement chicken. While we waited, the manager, Marisa, stopped by to ask if all was good. We started to explain about the chicken, but she turned away from us and quickly raced away, never to return. Asked for another and the bartender gave me an attitude so I told her where to stick it and she told me to leave, which I was already doing.... she jumped all over the opportunity to tell management about my "behavior". Texas Roadhouse is a decent place to get a steak. I'd say it's definitely better than something Applebee's but not as good as a place like LongHorn Steakhouse. Service is always good the few times I've been here. Don't usually end up waiting long and servers are always attentive. Prices are also not crazy. Free peanuts and bread are a nice addition to the meal even if I don't eat much. My only issue and the reason for 3 stars is that everything here is just way too over salted. The steak is salty. Corn. Rice. Even the baked potato. The food would be so much better if they backed off on the salt and beef stock. Don't go here often and will probably visit again but wouldn't pick it over other places to get steak due to the salt issue...which is a shame since the service is always good. Also one last thing to point out. I love unsweetened ice tea and the tea here always has an off flavor. It's not bad just has a weird taste I've never experienced at any other restaurant. read more

Do we look like rowdy types that you want to keep away from families with small children? I don't know. Our server turned out to be pretty nice and fairly efficient, giving us a lot of attention. BJ got his usual monster sized beer. I got a Jamaican Cowboy which consisted of Malibu Rum, DeKuyper Peachtree Schnapps with orange & pineapple juice, along with a splash of Margarita. Now that's what I like! Love their rolls with cinnamon butter. So good. For our meals, BJ got a 10 oz. Ft. Worth Rib eye and I got a 6 oz. Dallas Filet. For our sides, we both got baked potatoes, mine was loaded for an extra $1. BJ got green beans, I got a monster sized side salad complete with tomato, egg and cheese. This is where I took my partner for our first date, and we've been back several times since. The food has always been good, but we went Easter '23 for a holiday meal out/date combo. Our wait staff, Nick, forgot that we asked for water - I have a condition that causes a lot of choking and basically need to drink any time I'm trying to swallow. He also got my partner's drink order wrong. When he brought a refill he tried to stand behind my partner and stretch to slide the drink on the table instead of coming up to the table and setting the drink down and seeing if we needed anything else, as if he were avoiding speaking to us. He never checked on us once, only when he was bringing the food to the table. We were both out of drink several times. The last time he brought my partner a drink he slammed it down on the table hard enough to make me jump, as it was very loud. We had to ask another wait staff to let Nick know that we needed another drink to get the drink that was then slammed on our table. When another person asked how our meal was or if we needed anything else my partner said the service sucked and I joking said the only thing we needed was a different wait staff and she offered to see to us the rest of the meal but by that point we were done. Nick gave us some boxes, we paid, and that was that. This was the only time we've had less than wonderful service from the wait staff and it's a huge disappointment. I am disabled and currently my partner only works part time so we have to actually save for quite a time to afford to go out to a place as expensive as Texas Roadhouse... and for that to be ruined by an employee taking their bad day (or whatever the reason) out on us was highly unacceptable. read more

It only took about a hour to get this simple meal and about 20 minutes later the manager appears and asks if the food was good and I told her no it was horrible and she said oh I will have to see what the problem is and never came back. This restaurant has the worst food and a shitty manager. I would never recommend this place to anybody who wants to spend $50 on a awful place to eat. We don't go there as often as we used to, but in the 4/5 times we've been in the last 4 months it has progressively gotten worse. Each time our order has been progressively worse and or not even complete. Tonight was the cake topper, my wife ordered a 6oz fillet with mushrooms and a salad. Got her salad steak comes out without mushrooms and our server says it will be 3 mins. About 10 mins go by and server comes and says still no mushrooms but I can have them make a fresh steak with the mushrooms to which I say yes in frustration. Manager then comes and ignorantly says that she can't do that because she doesn't want it to happen again. Waitress brings bill because at that point I've given up and want to leave and go elsewhere wow-$5.00. About five mi a later waitress brings 2 containers of mushrooms to go and says that the manager told her that we no longer wanted the new steak and mushrooms. I proceed to tell waitress that manager told us she wasn't going to make the new meal....... Waitress apologizing over and over again was appreciated but the manager was downright rude about it. Big thumbs up to the staff at Texas Roadhouse during the coronavirus. As a family, we have been ordering out to try to support the local economy and this was by far our best experience. As usual, the food was great! However, the best part about it was how well they had it organized. Placed your order on the phone,Sent you a code to pay and when you got there they brought the food out to your car. This is one of my favorite place for steak when they get it right. My girlfriend and I eat here on Friday's when our schedules allow. I alway order my steak medium rare and my girlfriend orders her's medium. Her steak was more red than mine. Everything else was The manager came by the table and he even noticed that my steak was medium not medium rare. I could have ordered another steak but I didn't. I don't understand why this is so hard to get right. This is not the first time our order was mixed up. But when they get it right, it's delicious. read more

My mom LOVES this place, btw. That is why I chose it. Great and kind service. VERY attentive. To the point where they knew my moms steak kabob was over cooked that they surprised her and brought her out a brand new, properly cooked, one without her even saying a thing! WOW!
