    Chocolate chunk cookie

I am in town to attend my beloved Steelers home opener vs the 49ers to begin the 2023 nfl season . My birthday is tomorrow Sept 10th if nothing happens. I chose to order from this restaurant because it's next door to the hotel I am staying at. I have only seen Bob Evans products in store . This is my first experience placed order on doordash. I ordered enough to last me a couple of days so I didn't try it all. My order consists of country fried steak, loaded mashed potatoes green beans and roll. Now this was eaten along with the chocolate chunk cookie and strawberry lemonade. I have no complaints at all. I haven't tried but also ordered lemon pepper sole filet, loaded French fries , steam broccoli, roll, (2) banana nut bread , double crust apple pie , and lemonade . All I can say is that I made a very good satisfying choice .

The service is fine. The food isn't as good as one expects for the price being charged. Brown Heinz gravy from a jar with crumbled sausage is the "sausage gravy." The egg was fine. The potatoes were undercooked and under seasoned, both kinds. It's a 4$ breakfast gouging customers for $20. Lost this longtime regular for good. It's time business quit complaining and raising prices because of artificial reasons. Can't compete, close and let another business take over. And La Quinta next door sells Bob Evans parking spaces and shuttles people to the airport so it looks busy. It's not. PRO TIP: park in Bob Evans in morning hours and walk into La Quinta main lobby and eat free breakfast. Since they sell Bob Evans parking spaces nobody knows who is coming and going. Quality about the same.

The waiter was slow in taking our order and largely ignored us during our meal. The food--a chicken salad and hamburger--tasted OK.

Please see my attached photos for the menu in July 2025. Customers may either dine in or get takeout. My husband and I sat at an indoor table of our choosing. An outdoor deck also had seating. Our waitress spoke very nicely with us. We had a bit of a wait for our foods, but it was a busy weekend morning. I ate the Mama Evans' Blueberry-Bacon Pancakes. Three pancakes contained both blueberries and bacon pieces and tasted both sweet and savory. I personally prefer blueberry pancakes and a side of bacon, but I appreciated trying this unique mixture. My husband ate a Ham-Cheese Omelet with sides of chunky homefries and toasted bread. He liked it. We shared a half-sized Not Your Mama's Sausage Gravy and Biscuits. The spicy gravy was balanced with the slightly sweet biscuit. My husband said, "I'm glad we got it. It has good flavor." We both drank orange juice. The total price was $43 plus a tip.

Parking behind the building was easy and I got a table right away. Everyone was so friendly. My server Karen was especially nice, attentive, and patient, giving me her opinion on several dishes. The food came quickly. The quality and quantity of food was an amazing value. I tried the Eggs N'at ($12.50) which included 2 eggs, 3 bacon strips, country potatoes, bread (I had cinnamon raisin), and a pancake. I upgraded my pancake to the monthly special - peaches and pecans. Everything was so delicious! To top it off, I enjoyed their music playlist. I wish they were closer to me in the SF Bay Area!

Our first visit was right after they opened and with the long lines we ended up going elsewhere, so I was excited that this time we were able to walk right in and order. Curry Mouth sits in a strip mall in Moon Township. The inside is somewhat small with seating for about 10 to 20 people. They have a fun beach mural on the wall which my kids loved and you can also watch them grab food from their hot foods area. For dinner on this evening I started out with the doubles and then also ordered the curry chicken and roti while my wife went with the stew chicken meal. The menu described the doubles as flattened deep fried dough, eaten like a taco, garnished with curry chickpeas, cucumber and tamarind sauce. My curry chicken was described as boneless or bone-in curry chicken with curry chickpeas, potatoes and roti. My wife's was described as boneless or bone-in brown stew chicken with white rice, red beans and macaroni pie. After a short wait we had our food and were on our way. As soon as we got to the car we both tried the doubles and it was excellent. The curry chickpeas had great flavor, the dough was soft and satisfying, and I especially loved the sweetness from the tamarind sauce. Everything came together really well. Once we got home I was able to try my entrée and enjoyed that as well. The chicken was cooked nicely and the potatoes were soft. The star for me though was the roti which I think was brushed with butter or ghee and had a flavor that I really liked. My wife also especially enjoyed her macaroni pie and said this is a place she would happily go back to. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. We enjoyed everything we ordered, especially the doubles, and I am looking forward to trying more of the menu.
