Lane our server barley checked our table and we waited for refils on our drinks for more than 10 minutes while waiting for our food. But this location has had a history of severely and grossly over salting everything in just about every visit we had had as locals. My family and I have eaten here on multiple occasions, it's our little treat anytime we have to go up to Denver and every single time we are not disappointed! I tried their pick up for the first time. And probably will never do it again. I asked for medium rare and I got well done steak that was very dry. I got my mashed potatoes loaded (which you have to pay extra for) and I received plain potato's. They also never gave my my ranch or silverware. I went to Texas Roadhouse with a hunger at the bottom of my stomach I didn't know what to fill it with so I ordered a nice salmon I got it to go and when I got home I noticed that they didn't add the special butter to my salmon that gives it the extra kick I thought to myself well at least I still have the butter for my rolls cause that's the most important part about Texas Roadhouse I emptied the bag of rolls the warm soft rolls rolled onto the plate like so gently I noticed the butter didn't fall out I checked the bag and noticed there was nothing I then realized that hunger at the bottom of my stomach was for that sweet butter on those warm rolls without it I felt an anger an anger I've never felt from such a horrific mistake they made the hunger at the bottom of my stomach was craving for revenge craving for blood for the one who forgot my butter will pay for their sin read more

We are from out of town and decided to eat here doe dinner. We are frequent flyers of TX RH, we eat at the one in our hometown quite regularly. Not only did we wait way beyond our quoted time from checking in on the app, but we waited longer than we've ever had to wait before for our food. At home our TX RH is operating at full capacity seating and still cranking out the food and turning tables in a timely manner, but unfortunately this particular TX RH took way longer than the norm to get food out. Even our waiter kept saying "I've let the manager know it's taking so long". And the worst part is they were only seating at half capacity! This Texas Roadhouse location has consistently gone downhill for the last 6 months. Constant new staff, horrible/inedible food (ever since they fired the meat cutter James, the cuts of meat at this location are tough & gristly), and rude managers to top everything off. The worst manager of all is a meek, young gal by the name of Abigail. It's apparent that nobody working at this restaurant has any respect for her. Even though she knows her kitchen staff and servers' apathetic attitudes are cause for customer complaints, she refuses to admit fault and just sheepishly smiles at you further aggravating unsatisfied customers. The fact that the owners of this location allow her to be the face representing Texas Roadhouse shows how desperate this location is for quality staff. I give this location a year to close down due to what already looks like a significantly diminished customer base. So sad - this place used to be one of my favorite places to eat. read more

I have been to Monument Texas Road House many times. Tonight I had their 16 oz rib eye steak and it was tough and had a streak of grisly that made up of about one forth of the steak. My wife's steak was also tough. They are slipping in quality. Hope they do better. read more

While their food is typically good, I can't call this a baby friendly Resturant. Their policy to not seat parties until everyone is there is very difficult for families with babies. Their hosts also don't open doors for people when there are 5 of them standing around? Next time I'm meeting people I will be sure to choose a different Resturant. read more

I decided the best place to get a great burger would be to go to a steak place. Boy, was I wrong! I ordered the fried pickles, one burger and one cheeseburger to go. Before leaving with the order, I double-checked with the server that one of the burgers did not have cheese. (My husband cannot have dairy.). Both burgers had cheese and instead of med-rare, were burned to a crisp. The bottom bun was so soggy, it fell apart when I took it out of the container. I only live 10 minutes from the restaurant. I suspect the order probably sat while waiting for either the sides or the pickles. I waited 35 minutes after ordering before receiving the food. Never again! We went here on my birthday and I was looking forward to it but we didn't love it. We used a birthday coupon for a free appetizer (which is very generous and we appreciated it) but our server never asked if it was my birthday, and that felt like kind of a bummer. She was very rushed and didn't check in much and seemed very stressed even though she said it was usually busier at 5:00 on a Friday. She even grabbed the check without making eye contact or checking in. That put a damper on things a little bit- I think the interaction with a server can really make or break a meal. Our food was ok but a little disappointing. There were a couple of errors with our food and my husband ordered a steak medium well and it was much closer to rare but by the time someone asked if it was cooked ok it felt too late. My water and Coke were never refilled (but when we had paid our bill the server finally came back and asked if I wanted another one- it was a little late). Two managers came by and they were nicer. This will be my family's last trip to Roadhouse. As local's, this was one of our go-to restaurants whenever we did not feel like cooking, however quality has been declining ever since they opened and the last visit was the last straw. I order the Country Fried Steak and it came out tasting like it had been cooked in used motor oil from the nearby Jiffy Lube. On top of that it look like a possum that had been flatten by a semi and left on the road for far too long and was just about as tasty. That being said, this place is pretty rad especially for happy hour. 3 dollar large beers are hard to beat, one of which was a local beer from Pikes Peak Brewing. This was Me and my husband and father in law first time trying out Texas Roadhouse. We were all excited to try it out after hearing so many great reviews. Unfortunately our experience was horrible due to the waiter we had. Our order from beginning to end was screwed up. We weren't ready to place our order when he introduce himself so he gave us time but my husband asked him what beer was on draft in which he didn't know so he told him he will go check. When he came back he asked if we were ready to order. I ordered a margarita , however when my husband asked him again what beer was on draft he told him he forgot and apologized. My husband decided to just check himself what beer they had on draft. No biggie . The young man took down our drink orders. He came back with the beers. A good 15 minutes passes and I asked about my margarita. He says he will check if it's ready and it was. I saw him grab it with few other guest drinks on a tray. He than distributes to the other guest but he never comes with my margarita. I patiently waited as I understand the restaurant was pretty busy and I'm sure things can get pretty hectic for the waiters after all we are all human. About 10 minutes passed and he brought my margarita, I can clearly see the ice has melted a good amount. I didn't want this to ruin our night so we let it go. The waiter returned and took our order. A good 20 minutes passed and he returned again and advised us he lost our order and asked to take it again, he apologized and we provided him our order again. I specifically asked for a sweet potato for my father in law as he is diabetic. I also ordered another drink. A good amount of time passed and I had to remind him about my drink, he finally brought the drink and I noticed it was the wrong drink. I told him this isn't the drink I ordered, he apologized and said he must have put in the wrong order and quickly corrected it. We couldn't believe what was going on because the waiter did seem nice but everything just was going horrible. Our food finally came and the sides were all completely wrong and He didn't put in the order for the sweet potato. At that point we just wanted to leave the restaurant. I never want to cause scenes so I advised my husband let's just leave it as is and try to make the best of the night. We didn't order anything else as we were afraid it will be incorrect and decided to just eat the food and finish for the night. I see the potential of this place and if we had a different waiter I'm sure the night would have ended better. So unfortunately we will not be returning back. read more

I am stunned this wonderful restaurant has not been rated yet! This is truly a hidden gem in Monument. The atmosphere is fun (although loud!) and the staff is friendly, helpful, attentive and fun. But what really shines at the roadhouse is the food. The steak is as good as it can get- by far the best steak I have ever tasted! My husband and I have been to numerous 4 and 5 star steak houses and restaurants but we both agree that nothing even COMPARES to Texas Roadhouse in Monument. Besides the steak, the mashed potatoes are wonderful, and they make one of the best margaritas in the area.
