Too my mom here for a casual dinner and we had a pleasant experience overall. The staff were friendly and attentive. Food was abundant and our server was on top of things. Started off with margarita and a beer, both were great, and the combo appetizer. Didn't care much for the rattle snake balls. For our meal we did the 20oz ribeye and a baked potatoes and sweet potato, and the meat was smothered with sautéed mushroom. The meat was cooked to our liking so kudos to the chef. I asked the kids where they they wanted to eat dinner and all they told me was that they had a craving for rolls, so naturally Texas Roadhouse came to mind. We haven't been back in a while (last time we were here was pre covid). I was really pleased with the online waitlist, much improved process to the old buzzer system. It's all done via text. The seating has been changed up as well and the peanuts all over the floor has been nixed. We were seated and immediately served up hot, buttery rolls. They were snatched up and consumed feverishly. Our server Madison was very attentive and got them a second basket, which is always such a risk of actual food not being eaten. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, the all American burger and the lil dillo steak bites. Almost every bite was eaten and thoroughly enjoyed. Only feedback from the lil ranger was that the steak needed a little more seasoning and it would have been nice if it had come with more fries. The little kiosk on the table was super easy to use to check out. The light on top turned green when the check was paid so our server knew we were all done. Has us wait 35 minutes and when I walked to the bathroom I counted 49 tables open !! The we ask for a booth with 48 tables open and were denied ! We ordered sweet tea and that never came. Our server was Taylor Lynn and she was on top of everything, our glasses were never empty and she catered to our every need with a smile on her face and a kind tone. Went to dinner here with my niece. We've been here many time and always had a good experience. This time was not a good experience. We started with the rolls. They were super dense and heavy. Almost like they were under cooked. Our meals came pretty quick which is weird with how cold and under cooked the steaks were. My wife and I have been patronizing this location since it opened, however the quality of the food has gone downhill on the last two visits. My ribeyes had virtually no sear or taste and almost looked like they were in a warmer before being served. My wife's steak was the incorrect cut and was pure red on the inside instead of pink as it typically for medium wellness. We come to this location even though we live up by the Prescott location because we love Louren our Bartender. She is quick, witty and very accommodating. These days when eating out is truly a luxury, you want a server/bartender who makes the experience worth wild. To night our anniversary we went to share it with Lauren only to find out she was being reprimanded because she didn't offer enough gift cards to customers. Seriously!! People come in just for her. I was a front of the house asst mgr for concept restaurants 3yrs I would look at Lauren as an asset not a liability. Oh and if she weren't there neither would her customers be. I suggest you praise and reward those that bring in people rather than reprimand them for not being salesmen. Some people are givers and servers not takers or pushers. Overall, it's a great restaurant. Basically, it's our go-to place to eat out. The food is great quality & quality at reasonable prices. There's the military discount. Take out is always on point. It's a great place to take the young kids, family, and friends. Service is always great. Ambiance is inviting. We've been here at least 10x over the last 3 years and finally made a review. When seating us, they walked to the back of the restaurant, past a plethora of empty seats and attempted to seat us next to the restrooms. WTH!!! When we said we wouldn't sit there they kept trying to seat us in other seats in the back of the restaurant. There was no one else seated back there. We were finally seated near the front. I ordered prime rib cooked med well. When I got it, it was leaking blood all over my plate. It was so fatty I could barely eat it. I cut around the fat and tried to eat the edges that were more cooked. I took the center of the steak home to finish cooking and eat later. It was still leaking blood the next day. Then I'm checking my bank account. I have a receipt that was given to me in the restaurant that says I owe $24.58 after deducting a gift card. Sadly, my credit card was charged $34.94. Our server Lee was AMAZING! There was 9 of us including two kids. She went above and beyond to make sure we were doing well the whole time. We love this place, it's in Norterra right by our house. While other places have been inflated and price gouging, you can still get great food with decent prices at tx roadhouse, they have an early bird special that runs until I think 5, as well with special items discounted. I love their hot rolls and cinnamon butter and they're back to the peanut offerings , as well. My goto is the herb crusted chicken and my husband loves the roadkill steak. I understand the hype behind Texas Roadhouse but the steaks are always lacking flavor for me. I enjoy the service and ambiance though!

Rattlesnake bites came right out after ordering which was suspicious. They were luke warm like they were sitting under a lamp. Ordered well done steak and when my food finally came out it was gummy and medium rare at best. I gave it back and told them to remove it from my bill. The manager brought the same plate over and said they could just throw it on the grill for a few minutes after parading it through the restaurant. Will not be coming back to this one again. I'll continue to drive out of my way to the one by the stadium I guess. How does a steak house not cook a steak correctly? So disappointing. read more

Dinner for four at Texas Roadhouse on a Monday at 6:00 p.m. They were busy today. Probably more people then I have seen in a restaurant since pre-COVID. That is a good thing. How can you have a restaurant but do not accept reservations. Specially if you have a big party. Expecting parties to fully be present before seating can be done is extremely un professional. When you have parties which include Senior Citizens, Little children, not being able to get a table instead of being told wait over an hour and your whole party must be in attendance is appalling.. The experience here was a nightmare. I'm not able to tell all the details but, I will try. We had a large party. We were told if we waited until 6:30pm we could sit together. At 6:40 we were told if we wait another hour they could accommodate us at the same table, or sit at separate tables in that moment. We chose to be seated then. Well, we didn't get tables, we got 2 booths. How awkward. Fast forward. My husband make an organic ice-cream birthday cake with homemade sweet cream frosting. He brought it into the restaurant, and told them that it was an ice-cream cake that needed to be the freezer. They agreed to put it into the freezer. Well, guess what? They put it into the refrigerator instead. They brought it out, the thing was like mush. Flat and blown out. Fast forward again. The way everyone handled it, was shocking. I was dumbfounded. The entire b-day celebration was a flop. On top of it, we left the melted cake in the box on the table, (it was leaking a lot) and forgot to take my beautiful cake platter home. I was so bummed about our "mush cake" that I forgot my jewel of a platter. I called when they opened the next day. They threw it out. A heavy metal platter? Seriously. You couldn't feel it, or see it? It was protruding on all 4 sides. Hubby cut the bottom sides of the box, as the platter was slightly too big for the box I bought. What complacency! What a waste! Oh, and the (2) $40.00 conditional certificates wasn't near enough of a peace offering. Are you kidding? The kids would have paid that, just to have Papa's ice-cream cake.
