My husband and I came here for dinner last night and oh boy was the food soo delicious!! We were greeted at the door immediately and shown to our seats with a delicious basket of hot rolls and cinnamon butter.. Our server was nice and helpful. I had a delicious frozen margarita and I my husband had a frozen sangria, both so so good!! My dinner was so scrumptious, I had the steak kabobs with mashed potatoes and buttered corn. My husband had the steak and rib combo and it smelled amazing also very delicious he said. Atmosphere was fun and friendly, some of the servers even did a little dance routine to a song that was playing, very cute! And they also celebrate birthdays with a song at your table! We really like the food at this restaurant. We usually order to go as we live nearby. It seems with tonight's order and the last order, they cannot get the details right. I order regular butter for rolls as my family does not care for their cinnamon butter. I also order and am charged for additives to my mac and cheese side order. They must not bother reading the details I put in every time as this is the second consecutive time I did not receive either correctly. Being charged for items they do not bother including in the order on a consistent basis makes me think this might be my last order. read more

Was so excited that we got a new local Texas Roadhouse in Riverview and even better my boyfriend got a gift card for Christmas!! We were seated immediately and given fresh warm bread, delicious butter and peanuts which I love! 16oz Ribeye- steaks come with 2 sides so boyfriend & I shared this huge steak which was juicy, cooked perfectly and delicious! As sides we shared their delicious loaded baked potato and the chili, both sides were delicious and I was happily surprised that the chili was topped with cheese and onions! Will DEFINITELY return to split this meal again!! Lil Dillo Steak Bites- Got these for our 2 year old granddaughter with fries and she loved it, she is a huge steak eater just like us. This was one of my favorite places to take family when the visited or for takeout. I was irritated that some small details were missing from the takeout order, but I made use of what I had in the frig. However, the fried onion was not completely cooked (Dan, the manager, referred to it as undercooked) It's is quite unappetizing to attempt to eat something that is cooked on the outside but nothing but uncooked batter on the inside. When we got there the girl said a 35 minute wait but we end up waiting about 55. While they were busy our waitress was pretty attentive. I think my favorite part about the roadhouse is their rolls if you've never had them there served warm and they're very light and they serve them with like a cinnamon butter it's like getting dessert before dinner. I had the New York strip and while it was cooked OK it just wasn't very flavorful. The ribs were pretty good and the chili with their onions is pretty tasty. read more

When I got to counter to pay the cashier Ariel showed me the container of food before bagging it and I noticed the the 5oz Salmon was smaller than what I thought and what I knew my wife would want. I asked Ariel how long would it take if I wanted to change to the 8oz Salmon. She said about 10mins. I agreed the 8oz is what I wanted and told her to go ahead and fire it up. The order only took 8 minutes to be prepared and brought up to me for checkout. While I was checking out, the manager told Ariel to only charge me for the 5oz Salmon and let me keep both the 5 & 8oz to take home. I love this Texas Roadhouse location. read more

Went here on a Saturday evening with family for dinner. We did a call ahead and still had a wait when we arrived. The restaurant was packed. We were seated and the waitress immediately approached our table. We ordered drinks followed by dinner. We all ordered Rib Eye Steaks and we all ordered them cooked medium. 1 out of 3 steaks was cooked correctly! My son chose to eat his even though it wasn't cooked as he ordered. I decided to have mine re-done the way I ordered it. I was informed by our server that the manager would bring me out a new steak. I waited over ten minutes for another steak. Meantime, my family were all done eating by the time my new steak arrived. Wen the manager finally arrived with the new steak she asked me to cut into it. As I did so, as she stood there, it was clear to see that again it was over cooked and well!! No pink center in this steak. She offered to get another one but I declined. After all, how many steaks was it going to take to get a medium cooked steak with a pink center?!? I did ask the manager, why after I waited so long didn't they put a new hot side on my dish? I feel like that's something I shouldn't have had to ask them to do. To me it's common sense, and I don't manage a restaurant. Off she went to get me another sweet potato that was hot. When she returned she said that she took my steak off the bill because I wasn't able to eat with my family. I wanted to say, and because two steaks later your cooks couldn't get it right!! This restaurant was extremely noisy on this Saturday night!! Lots of families with kids who weren't well behaved. There was a child at a large group near us who screamed the entire time we were there. If he wasn't screaming he was banging dishes or silverware. I always wonder what goes on in a parents mind when they think everyone in the restaurant wants to listen to their children screaming and behaving badly. This one is tough because the food is really delicious but I just don't know if the circus is worth it. The wait can get as long as 45 mins and the text to come get your table is a bit unclear (tells you that your table is almost ready but never send the text that it's ready for sure). You have to wait so long to get your food, yet I see like 20 employees standing around chatting and line dancing. Why do you need so many hosts and hostesses when waiters are clearly in a shortage? Anywho, if you want delicious yeast rolls, meat and seafood cooked well, and tasty American sides, this is a good place to come. But don't come here expecting to be impressed by the way they run the place and be prepared to get full from yeast rolls and dry peanuts while you wait an hour for food. read more

I was hesitant of coming because of all the hype and lines. I will say I could see why!. They have a online option to start your wait. When we got there we were seated. The best part is that the bread comes with you. Nice and hot. When we were seated, the table had peanuts as well. This is the time I had my chance to look around. Its decorated with texas theme and desert theme. They play music at the bar and have TV to watch sports. Our service was very nice. They explained that everything is made in house. I visited this restaurant on Saturday evening, with a group of six adults and two children. We all had a very, very poor experience. In fact, to some, it was the worst dining experience they ever had. Getting seated: We called an hour ahead to be on the waitlist. When we arrived it took us about 15 minutes to be seated. There was loud, confusing exchange between our party and the host, since there was so much ambient noise (music, people, horrible acoustics, etc.). When we were finally seated, we had a booth for six, with two regular chairs on either side. Definitely awkward to maneuver and hampered the foot traffic for people walking by. Placing order: Our waiter was obviously impatient with us as we all took our order. He cut me off multiple times when I was placing my order. We ordered an appetizer -- the cactus onion ring platter. That arrived about 10 minutes after we all had gotten our main meal! When one of the servers came with it, she looked at us as if we were at fault for not wanting an appetizer that arrived after our meal came. She said, "I'll have to throw it away then," again, as if it were our fault. Our main server apologized and promised to remove the $9 item from our bill. He didn't keep his word. We ended up paying for something we didn't eat and was promised to be not billed to us. Food quality: The food was not good, to say the least. I had an overly-done and chewy steak and there were burgers that were crushed. In fact, to one of our party's embarassment, he had to eat half of his burger with a fork and knife because it basically disintegrated. The bottom bun melted into a pile of goo, as did the bun for a few others too. Ambiance: Few things here, too. There was a table right next to us that had only unmonitored 8-10 year olds boys. They were screaming at the top of their lungs at one point, interrupting our conversations multiple times. Not only that, but as we were starting to finish our meals, a crew of bus-boys were almost salivating at the prospect of cleaning our table. We felt rushed and uncomfortable at this point. As I mentioned before, the acoustics were unbelievably bad. Music, yelling, and everything else made it a miserable gathering place for two small families trying to hang out. Staff:They were very pesky with the lighting. They kept changing our blinds without asking us. This is a small thing, but is it not common courtesy to at least ask before reaching over our heads awkwardly to change blinds that we can do ourselves? Conclusion: 1 star. Very poor experience. I will not be coming back again and neither will the other five adults in the party, as they each individually expressed to me. read more

When we were seated the hostess placed a fresh basket of delicious rolls at the table. Our server Kyees came over quickly and told us about happy hour, we were sold. All of the staff seemed to work well as a team. Again food was delicious and Kyees was an EXCELLENT server, friendly, outgoing and nice smile. This location is awesome! I have to give them 5 stars because it was super packed at 2:30 pm on a Sunday, and they were still able to get us in and out of there within an hour. Mom & I were totally amazed with the service provided as this restaurant. Kyees was cool, calm, and collected. In fact, all the staff members appeared that way from the minute we walked in. The service flowed so smoothly. They were also genuinely happy. Maybe it's all that line dancing that they do together for entertainment while you're waiting for your food. Anyway, we were seated right away (party of 2). The young lady who brought us to the table was also carrying our fresh rolls with cinnamon butter. We were eating the hot rolls before we even looked at the menu. Couldn't resist them. Oh, and of course they also have a bucket of roasted peanuts at every table. I remember eating the peanuts at other locations while also being encouraged to drop the shells on the floor. However, I did see that they have an empty bucket on the table now to discard the shells. I guess that's better than sweeping them all up throughout the day. I've been to 2 other locations. We used to go to the one in North Little Rock when we were stationed there. The one in Melbourne was also visited frequently. I have to agree with others that this location is better. Mom had her usual 10 oz prime rib dinner. I had the 10 oz ribeye steak dinner. Both were cooked perfectly (medium rare). Mom loved her prime rib, but was super happy and surprised to see little marshmallows melted on top of her sweet potato. She said it was like eating a sweet potato casserole at Thanksgiving. My steak was so tasty. Way better than any other steakhouse chain restaurant. It had a little more fat on it than others, but that's the way I like it (well marbled). The seasoning was very good without being overly salted. Loved that. I also liked their garden salad. They add chopped egg to it which was a welcomed change. If I had to say anything negative, it would be that it's very loud. Again, it was super crowded. I don't think they can do anything about that, and that's okay. It was nice to see so many people enjoying their Sunday meal. It's great that Riverview finally has their own steakhouse. My goodness, they have to travel far to get to similar places in Brandon or even Bradenton. They deserve to have Texas Roadhouse nearby. Although, I'm very jealous. I did hear that there's a wait time at peak hours of the day. A friend of mine (who lives there) said that he gets take out from them all the time. He said it's much more convenient. Who doesn't like to pick their own steak ? I love it! As soo as you walk in they're right there to get your menu selection off to a good start. Our server was a young man named Paul, I like him because he went out of his way to make sure that my wife and daughter were taken care of with their orders from beginning to end. When he initially came over to introduce himself and take our drink order, he knelt right beside me and my daughter looked at me and asked/stated... "Daddy, your face is saying that he committed a Man-Law Violation?! Yes, yes he did... much too close. But no points are deducted when a person is giving great hospitality and service. Makes me wonder if everything really is BIGGER in Texas. Let's see how the main coarse goes... 45 minutes later... So I had a 16oz sirloin and it melted like butter! Great steak! The house steak sauce was another story altogether... watered down, very bland and not a good pairing for such an amazing steak. Thanks once again to Paul for rescuing a choice steak with a bottle of A1 steak sauce. Our appetizers were great as well, thanks Paul for the suggestion of a "Triple Treat" Potato skins, fried pickles (Amanda's favorite) and buffalo wings. My daughter loved her baked potato but was a title puzzled by the chicken tenders because they looked more like chicken nuggets. Overall, great Job Paul! The food is always amazing at Texas roadhouse! It's been my favorite for a very long time! With that being said, and due to our current economy, my husband and I pick very carefully where we want to spend our date day once a month. The reason we choose Longhorn in Brandon is because of Tiffany at the bar. She works every Saturday during the day, and when I say she is a boss, she is a BOSS!! She never looks flustered, she always has a smile on her face, she always makes eye contact and greets us, and says so pleasantly, she will be right there and to everyone else who walks in. I know that doesn't seem like much to people, but with restaurants being as short staffed as they are, and restaurant managers, making concessions based on staffing levels , very busy employees like Tiffany, could easily just make us sit and wait with no greet or I'll be with you in one minute, it's never like that with her. She is friendly to her coworkers, who keep her very busy at the service bar, but she never sits and talks too long, which is just amazing When I'm so used to going into restaurants now and seeing employees not take it serious anymore or like it used to be pre-Covid. I will always love Longhorns ribeye. But there's a lot other places you can get a good steak in town. There's only one place I can go once a month, on a Saturday and have great service consistently. So, because this is a new establishment you will want to go online to the website and click the online waitlist and fill in the information so that your name is already on the list and you know about what time you need to get here. The parking was not a hassle at all because there is so much available! Now for the "meat and potatoes ". Because we did the waitlist we did not have to wait long before we were seated. We got here around the time that was noted in our online confirmation. Our confirmation indicated to arrive here around 7:52 PM we were seated shortly thereafter. Our waitress that welcomed us and took care of us the entire time was Brittany. Let me start off by saying that her hospitality and personality was on point. She was simply amazing. From the time that we were seated she introduced us to the drink menu, made suggestions and even put in my grand daughters meal so she did not have to wait long for her food. As a matter of fact her food was out within 15 minutes of the order being placed. How good is that! For dinner I had the short ribs with steak fries. The ribs fell off the bone and melted in your mouth. . Steak fries were hot and seasoned. I also had the opopportunity to meet the Service Manager Greg Lee. Clearly his staff takes after him. His personality was both welcoming and a breath of fresh air. I saw him make a conscious effort to stop at as many tables as he could to welcome his guess. Customer service goes a long way. Great job Greg! The only feedback I have is that I was charge for three drinks and there were only two for my table. I paid an extra nine dollars and I didn't have to. I celebrated my birthday by taking my husband to the Riverview location last night. As usual, the food was out of this world good. However, BIG disappointment in the fact that we told the waiter 3 times my husband is a veteran and remember the 10% discount. Never got it. Then read the charges and realized my glass of wine was $3 extra for a "Texas Pour" which I did not request or was told about. I would not have left a 20% tip if I had known about all these uncharges. read more
