This is one of the rare places my family can go to and everyone leaves happy. This is a very casual, friendly type of place, and the food is very good; better than similar types of restaurants. We live close to this Texas Roadhouse location and always come here when we're craving steak. The family always order ribeye- very tender and juicy. Texas Roadhouse has the best bread. The wait is usually long on the weekends just like any other restaurant but they have call ahead seating. read more

I'm a huge fan of Texas Roadhouse, but was highly disappointed with my service this time. We did a call ahead at 6:30 and got to the location at 7:15. We were not seated until 7:45. After ordering we did not receive our food for another 45 minutes. Our server seemed inattentive, it took a while to get refills, and it seemed like the guests next to us were seated after us and almost finished their food by the time we receive our meal. Granted the manager did give us a free appetizer but the service could have been much better. I will stay again, but I think the service needs to be worked on. read more

The bread and butter is always good. Our salads were fantastic. My wife had the samon and it was good. I ordered the 16 oz prime rib, medium. It should melt in your mouth at medium. I had to ask for more sauce to help eat it. It was either to dry or just a tough piece of meat. For the price I was a bit disappointed. This place is falling off! Every time I come here, I can never get clean silverware. Last night, my frozen margarita came with hair. They asked if they can make me another one, I declined. Still had to pay for the drink with hair. Some of my grilled shrimp weren't deveined. Gnats harassed us as we were trying to enjoy our food. Maybe this place needs a deep clean and renovation. I have been there two times since I moved to Romulus. However, my second experience wasn't good at all. My husband, my friend who came from Costa Rica to visit us and I got our table after been waiting 1 hour and 40 minutes. Our waitress came to our table and at the moment she heard our accent, her attitude changed. My friend wanted to practice his English on his last night in the USA. Even though we told her that he was from Costa Rica, when he was trying to make his orden she said, "I don't understand what you said." She was very mean and rude with him and us. Only had a five minute wait! I ordered the 6oz sirloin with shrimp and the house salad and loaded baked potato. My food was out in minutes and my stake was cooked BEAUTIFULLY! The shrimp was seasoned and tasted absolutely delicious! Defiantly looking forward to coming back! read more

I'm a fan of Texas Roadhouse but their steaks have lately been hit-or-miss. I usually order one of their sirloin steaks. It use to be that the steak was really a good cut with none to little fat on them. Then for the last couple of years the lines of fat have gotten worse in them. I inquired and they indicated that they changed suppliers some time ago. I now order the filet and if there is fat on them I send them back. Usually the cut is really good but about 25% of the time I get one that is not acceptable. Yes, I too love the rolls. read more

It was busy and the wait was long but the food more than made up for it. I didn't drink any alcohol but I drank water and pop and I never got close to running out. I've been a couple times and almost filled up on the delicious bread before I got my food. The wait for the food was long yet deserved because the food was cooked as I asked and was delicious. I have ordered steaks, fries, onion rings, cheese sticks and a burger (I forget which one) there and it was all great. I'm definitely going to go again when I have the patience for waiting in line that long - even if you have a reservation for a specific time, it will take at least half an hour after that time before they get you a table. They actually give you a pager thingy so you can wait outside because it's always that busy. That, or I'll order take out. Definitely worth it. The wait knocks off one star, even though I feel like an ass because there is only a wait because it's that damn good. read more

I refuse to RATE this restaurant. My son just came home on Military Leave and him and 3 friends decided to go here for dinner. My husband and I wanted to pay for the dinner. He called up there and asked the manager if we could pay over the phone. They told us "NO". Okay, he just figured he would go up there in person and pay that way. And again they told him "NO, but you can buy a gift card for him to use." We are very DISAPPOINTED on the way Texas Roadhouse is treating the Military. It would be difficult to describe just how angry and disappointed I am after leaving this "restaurant" this evening. I'm 67 and rarely get out to treat myself. While they seated me quickly, their "famous" bread rolls never showed. The waitress was prompt. The food was anything but that. After finishing my salad and two cups of coffee I still had plenty of time to watch football, about forty minutes. When the manager came I politely explained that I was on a schedule and out of time. She went to the kitchen and came back with an plate that had a steak far more done than I had ordered. I AGAIN explained that I nwas out of time and patience. She suggested I take the food home and re-heat it later. I asked her if she knew what micro-waved meat tasted like, or what a micro-wave did to shrimp (pretty disgusting stuff). She smiled and replied she wouldn't know because she didn't eat meat and was a vegetarian. So with my botched meal I got a side order of social awareness. I picked up McDonalds for my big night out. This was my families favorite place to get an awesome steak unfortunately it has taken a turn for the worst in the past few months. Every time we order takeout they mess the orders up so badly or forget items and it's a hassle having to go back to get things changed. Last night 10/1/17 we went to have dinner and it was terrible. Our glasses and utensils were dirty, fruit flies were swarming everywhere, the bread was over cooked, our steaks were burnt, and they screwed up our sons order forcing us to send it back. Done being a customer here!! I sign up for the email club and get coupons all the time. Got a coupon for my birthday for free appetizer and they wouldn't let me use it because I was paying my bill with a gift card!! A gift card is cash!! There is no reason why it should effect my coupon. I was not combining 2 coupons I was PAYING!! The person that purchased the gift card was equally irritated. One has nothing to do with the other! Horrible experience! Been here so many times and each time it's worse. We ordered and 2 tables sat after us and then 30 mins after us all got there steak dinners before us. We also ordered steak. Then they forgot multiple parts of our order. And we had 3 kids who had to fill up on bread waiting almost an hour for their meals. Wow what fun that was!!! My family went to this restaurant for the first time last Saturday, 10/12/19. We simply asked for a table for easier access because we have a family member using a walker, but that lead to us waiting an hour to 75 minutes in a very cold waiting area (that they refused to turn off the fan for some reason - something about broilers - blah, blah, blah). We saw many parties come/go, and when we approached the host area to see what was taking so long, we were informed that because we asked for a table and not a booth, we had to wait for two tables near each other to leave (we had a party of 7, including one child). After waiting a bit longer, I asked to speak to the manager - and he was rather defensive in saying that they have an adequate number of accessible tables (well they don't have them near the door and restrooms and readily available for people with mobility issues). Fast forward, we finally received a table over an hour after arriving, and it was clear on the other side of the restaurant (not easy on the person using a walker) AND there was food left all over the seats of the table they gave us. Sad, but it gets worse. Two of our family members ordered meat well done and it came back rare (and one other family member had a fatty, unappetizing steak, but was too tired/hungry to complain). It took so long time for them to get the proper orders back out that everyone else was already finished eating by the time they did (so who cares if they offered to cover those burgers). Poor management, but when they came by to sing happy birthday to our 9 year old, they didn't even give her a cup cake or a scoop of ice cream. Cheap. The food that a couple of us received was decent, but my family members who were visiting from out of state and who frequent other Texas Roadhouses unanimously agreed that the service at this one, and the food preparation, was very poor. First time I was ever here and if I am ever back in this area would come back. Told there would be a 40 minute wait, only 15 minutes. Our server Sara was wonderful and when we did have a problem with our meal she called her manager Katie came over and did her best to handle it. Third times a charm we have been to Texas Roadhouse three times in the last six months The first time (2 people in the party) it was OK the food and the service were decent but nothing to get excited about. The second time was a Friday night we called ahead (7 people in the party) and while the food was very good it was was one hour from the time we sat down and ordered to the time our food arrived When it got there it was very good and the wait staff was very attentive but an hour? I timed it. The third time just the two of us they got it right the food came in a decent time it was very good both steaks the way we ordered and the the service was very good read more
