ROACHES! Went there in a Friday nite w family, we were told 5 mins to be seated. While waiting in front of the meat counter, a roach ran across it! I tried to get the hostess' attention which was just a few feet from me, when she saw it, she said "SO!" She couldn't care less? WTHeck? We should have left but didn't, finally after waiting about 35 mins, i asked the same hostess if we had missed being called/seated? She responded rudely, it was then I realized she bumped us from the list for alerting her to the roach. We left and ate at Longhorn steak house instead which was clean, less noisy, friendly staff and roach free. Every time we go to Texas Roadhouse, it's like a well-oiled oil machine. Service is always great as well as the food. Steaks are always cooked and seasoned to perfection. Tonight was no different other than our server whom we've never had before. His name was Jeremiah. When I tell you it was amazing service, it's an understatement. Jeremiah was fantastic. My bride and myself love TR, always consistent and good. However, our trip Sunday 8/31/25 12:30ish we sat at the bar as usual and ordered our lunch. I ordered the 8oz filet medium + as usual, this time the filet came out medium rare. I politely sent it back and within 5 minutes I had what I thought was a new steak, nope same steak only cooked slightly more, but still rare. I actually cut a couple pieces off, still raw. I showed the bartender and he took my fork and scraped the filet off my plate to another plate and went back to the kitchen. About 10 minutes later and here comes the manager with the exact same filet and the 2 pieces I cut off?! They had cooked the same steak 3 times and it was still raw. I queried the manager and asked what the ticket said, she replied rare, I told her I ordered medium +, so she offered to cook the same steak a 4th time! I replied that I didn't want that steak any more since it's been back to the kitchen 3 times. Never offered me a new one, just to recook the original? When I worked in the food industry, we never took food to the kitchen to recook. Our server Tiffany was really great! The food never disappoints. They have several new margaritas the one I tried was a "key lime margarita " , it had graham cracker crumbs on the rim instead or salt or sugar, it was thick and creamy, also available on the rocks as well. Never was a huge fan but usually you could get a decent meal and even better, a decent steak at a good price. The last 3 times I have gone it seems to get worse and worse. I swear my filet was a sirloin last time I went. The loaded cheese fries were soggy and bland. The chili is OK, I guess. Ribs were fall off the bone but dry (suggesting to me they were a day or two old). The one thing that used to be the best thing has also gone downhill too, the rolls. If you can't inhale the basket before they cool off, they are terrible. I think I have given this place their last chance. I won't be back. I just don't get how they are always so busy - even when I liked them I didn't think they were that great. Went to the TR in Owasso, OK today, (6/23/2024), The folks there were friendly and the place was busy at 2:30 in the afternoon on Sunday. We explained we were there for our 45 anniversary and we were not in a hurry. However, the server was a bit impatient with getting our order. We ordered an appetizer, (grilled shrimp) which came our lukewarm and the shrimp was a bit rubbery, it had good flavor, but tough to enjoy . We ordered our main course and and asked for the salads to be served first, they were, but before we we done with our salads, our dinners were brought I informed the food runner to were we not done with salads and she set my dinner on the other side of the table from me. My wife's order came out incorrect and the ribs had to be brought out later. My chicken fried sirloin was also lukewarm and I asked for a hot meal, when the replacement arrived ( in less than one minute - I think it takes longer to cook than one minute). The replacement was also not hot. I tried the steak in the breading and the meat was tough and chewy. We went to TR because we have good memories of of several anniversaries spent at the TR in Odessa, TX and wanted to have a little bit of connection to that for this anniversary. The place was very busy and I am sure they will not miss us as we do not plan to spend $75.00 for a lukewarm, hard-to-chew meal there anytime in the future Oh, and the draft beer list includes too many light beers for a steak house read more

You should let people know that you're "open bar seating" isn't actually open - since a waitress "works" that section and could I "seat people there"...you know, inside of another section with two people and plexiglass on both sides. But we def shouldn't move one of those to the car in case another twosome wanted to sit with another random twosome. Ironically, entire time one of stood at the bar...no one sat there...or the other seven empty chairs. But def would've been a problem if we tied one of those up...at the bar. But then I guess it would've been a fire hazard according to the manager? Although there was no obstruction of any kind. So basically came down to a waitress that wanted to protect her section...and in the end alienated loyal, tipping patrons from the restaurant overall. Peace out read more

Mariah is the bomb! Host staff did pretty good. Had a 20-30 min wait on a Saturday for lunch ! It was busy but I can't say enough positive things about Mariah....at least that's what I think her name was. We had a party of 18 ! She rocked it out like nobody's business! If I return to the area I am definitely requesting her. She routinely checked on our table she refilled the rolls and butter. She never let our drinks get empty. She brought items the kitchen messed up. I really hope that management reads this and commends her for her awesomeness! Several items came altered and we had some extra things that got delivered to the table...but I get it. Ordered the appetizer sampler as my meal and never got rattle snake bites until we were leaving. In a Togo box because it never made it during main course. But I did get a trial run of fried pickles instead. The kitchen might have made a few mistakes on my family members steaks on the doneness but they ate it anyway. Always love this place! So steak it up no matter what you do bc their steaks are awesome! But what I'm gonna rate is their critter salad bc it by far is awesome! Bacon bits, boiled egg, cheese, tomatoes, and fried chicken that is just awesome! Oh ya and salad with your favorite dressing.... this salad is a full meal but I highly suggest a roll or two and get the fried pickles or the bloomin onion while you wait. I've heard the salmon is pretty decent and I know the kid steaks were a big hit with the kids. My only warning is to be ready to have to wait as this place can get packed quick! My wife and I have been going to Texas Roadhouse for several years. We really enjoy there steaks. We used to go to the 71st steakhouse until they opened their new location at 81st and Olympia and have gone there ever sense. This past Friday we were in southeast Tulsa and decided to go to the 71st Texas Roadhouse. We really enjoyed our experience with the exception of the quality of our. Steaks. I had the prime rib, cooked medium rare and my wife ordered the 8 oz. fillet cooked medium. My steak was cooked closer to medium and was dry with a lot of Geisel. My wife's fillet was cooked beyond well done and couldn't be eaten. I could eat and did eat my steak. However we had to send my wife's steak back. The waitress Ann Marie was Awesome, she was appalled by how over cooked the steak was and checked the Order to verify that she placed the order correctly. When she brought the replacement steak it was cooked to protection. She also notified the manager who adjusted my ticket for their mistake. This is the only time we have ever had a problem of this nature in all the years of going to Texas Roadhouse. I did not expect to have my bill adjusted, but this kind of service is what brings customers back. We will continue to frequent Texas Roadhouse, we will go to the 81st more often. The Wife and I had a recent opportunity for a date night, so we decided to return to Texas Roadhouse. It's been a long time favorite, and we hadn't been in awhile. It was early on a Saturday evening, and apparently we got their just ahead of the tidal wave of evening diners, which was a plus. Seated quickly and given our menus, our drink order was taken by a server who I can't name, because he wasn't wearing the proper nametag. He gave us one name, but wore a different nametag. That's a peeve of mine, but I'll let it drop. We both opted for ribeyes, but we had a question for our server... Bob... Rick... Chuck... Rutabaga.... whatever his name was... we'll just call him 'Scooter' for the purposes of the review. I was curious about the difference between the 'Fort Worth Ribeye' and the bone-in ribeye, and if there was something other than the size that would make me want one or the other. When The Wife asked 'Scooter' what was distinctive about the 'Fort Worth Ribeye' as opposed to a regular ribeye, he sort of stammered a bit and replied with a spiel about how 'the Fort Worth Ribeye had more marbling than any other cut of meat and that made it the most flavorful steak in the house'. Okay, so that wasn't an answer, and we both knew it, but whatever. So, my turn.... and I asked how was the marbling on the bone in ribeye... to which 'Scooter' replied something along the lines of 'the bone in Ribeye had more marbling than any other cut of meat and that made it the most flavorful steak in the house'.... o_O As The Wife tried kicking my shins under the table, I succumbed to temptation and queried 'Scooter' how could they both be the best steak in the house?, to which he doubled down and attempted to just confuse me with steak talk. As The Wife calmly redirected the conversation, along with an unspoken warning for me to behave, 'Scooter' trotted off to place our orders. So I went through all that to make a point.... servers should be on their A-game at all times. Management, take note of that. We started with a mixed app of wings, rattlesnake bites and potato skins, all of which were great. No issues there. Shortly, the steaks arrived, and I will confess, they were downright great. Perfectly seasoned and cooked, and not missing a note anywhere. If I could offer up one critique, and it's just splitting hairs, the bone-in ribeye I ordered was not cut to a uniform thickness. On the bone side, it was, well, bone thick, but then it tapered to about 1/8" thick on the other side. Probably being picky, but it's the little things that matter. Overall, Roadhouse delivered as I expected, and those expectations were high. Kudos for the pre-meal entertainment from 'Scooter'. I do hope he's learned a little more about steaks since our visit. Roadhouse once again delivered and hit it out of the park. read more

While I try not to eat much bread, the rolls they serve with the cinnamon butter is a deal breaker. They are so good I cannot eat just one.
