The girls at the front messed that up and then proceeded to talk shit not only about us but about several couples and families that were there. Food was 5 star. Unfortunately the check-in process was zero star. When we checked in it was a jumbled madhouse of waiting outside, then waiting inside, then getting two more texts telling us we were almost next. I don't know if it was all brand new employees, but nobody seemed to know what was going on. It was about 40 min before we were seated and that was on a Monday night. My friends and I sat at a table after church to hangout and enjoy appetizers but were brutally humbled by our waiter. Her name is Ashlyn and she was nothing but passive aggressive. We've never had an issue with Texas Roadhouse... taking in mind it's our go-to spot, but she made sure our experience was uncomfortable. After her showing no customer service, practically tossing straws at us and confronting her about extra items charged on our ticket, she called the manager over. Not only did she tell the manager we requested her (we didn't she just called her for backup) but she proceeded to rant to us about how much she gets paid hourly and with tips- almost like complaining to us about her own job. We left with no goodbye and terrible looks coming from her. The manager seemed understanding but nothing was done to change our bill. Got on the waitlist at 5:25pm, was told it's gonna be a 60 min to 1hr and 10 min wait. At 6:45 went to the window and told them I've been waiting for over an hour and a half. They told me their system is down and it would be another hour wait. I was being patient waiting but they wouldn't even seat a party of 2 after waiting for 1 1/2 hours. Very disappointed. read more

This place has been a favorite of mine my whole life and let me tell you not a disappointment one I have ever had wait times are reasonable one a typical day it's a good 20-25 minute wait and best thing about the wait is you can enjoy there peanuts. Also the waiters/waitresses her are amazing I have never got a bad one they stay on top of refills and fresh bread. Also they are some of the nicest I have ever had I always leave a nice tip for them. Now for the food we will start with the fresh bread this stuff is addicting let me tell you and the cinnamon butter helps with that. I either get one of two thing when I come here the pork chops which can be order with 1 or 2 of them or I get a New York Strip which is one of my favorite steaks I always recommend your steak cut to be medium rare for it is the most savory and juiciest there's is so try that. For sides I recommend a baked potato and a Cesar salad and don't be afraid to ask for fresh bread to go I do it every time. read more

It was a Friday night and pretty busy despite the wet weather but we only had about a 5 minute wait for a party of 3 so not bad at all. My daughter ordered the country fried sirloin $10.99 that comes with 2 sides. It was pretty big and almost her entire plate was covered with gravy. For the sides she ordered mashed potatoes w/gravy and fresh vegetables. The vegetables looked old and dry but she said she enjoyed everything though. My boyfriend saw road kill on the menu. Like, for real. So he's asking the waitress, "is it squirrel, raccoon, possum...what?" After she explained that it's chopped steak he ordered that. And he said it was good. Road kill (horrible name in my opinion) $9.99 is chopped steak covered in onions, mushrooms and cheese and comes with 2 sides. Being the health nut that he is my boyfriend ordered mac and cheese for both sides. It came out as what looked like 2 bowls of full boxes of Kraft macaroni and cheese. I ordered the half slab of ribs $14.99 that comes with 2 sides. I had house salad and green beans. The ribs were not "fall of the bone" as stated on the menu. They were definitely typical of a chain restaurant. They were just basic. The green beans are exactly what you expect from chain restaurants. They were very wet and tasted like they were poured straight from the can and heated up. Maybe a little salt people, something to help it out. The rolls are good. The Wild Strawberry lemonade did not have a strawberry flavor or lemonade flavor. It was bright pink and tasted like sugar water. I just switched to a sweet tea. In case you are wondering, and I was because I was going to order a sweet potato for one of my sides, Texas Roadhouse serves margarine not butter. Our waitress was nice and did a good job of keeping the table clear and our drinks refilled. I think the quality and taste of what we were served was exactly typical of a chain restaurant. One thing though, my cousin gave me a Texas Roadhouse gift card and the waitress told me that it didn't work.I literally called the toll free number on the card just now and it's loaded with $25.00 cash. I am a long time fan of TEXAS ROADHOUSE, so this is surprising. We are in the middle of a pandemic and there's a mask ordinance in place. I noticed they were allowing unmasked patrons into their establishment and have no correction. I only noticed when a patron and employee laughed and joked next to my table. I noticed this wasn't a "one-off" situation. When it happened several more times I notified a manager. She told me it was optional once they entered the establishment. My company had hosted several dinners in the past at this location, but that will cease until this pandemic has officially ended. It's instances such as this, is why the pandemic is still raging. We will begin hosting them at CARRABBA'S across the street (or other restaurants) who enforce the policy until the patrons have been seated. read more

My wife and I usually come here for either late dinner or dinner after work, we usually sit at the bar so we don't have to wait, tonight we went there for late dinner past 9:30pm, my wife always order glass of wine and I order beer, tonight I desired to order a legend margarita, which is supposed to be made with patron tequila, the bartender asked me if I wanted an extra shot of patron, I told her yes, well I'm seated right next to where they are making the margarita, when I noticed they are pouring hornitos tequila instead of patron, when they brought it to me, I question the bartender, she said that they were instructed by their manager to do that, I told her that they were misleading, I asked to speak with the manager, she didn't even apologize for it, but tried to justify saying that they can not get it because of the suppliers don't have it, I understand if that is the case but for them to put in practice this kind of behavior where they are lying to you, it is unacceptable for a chain restaurant, if there are doing this with the liquor what are they doing with the food, are we getting real beef?? This location and all of the other ones are usually great. The food is great, etc. We went for dinner on a Tuesday and it was extremely loud and chaotic, per usual. Usually it's bearable, but this time the service was terrible and the food was mediocre. Nobody took our drink order for about 10 minutes after we sat down, and when the drinks did come they were wrong. Our waitress was nowhere to be seen half the time. When our food came we were missing a side. At this point we didn't want it as it was a salad. They couldn't take it off of the bill because it was part of a meal, but we couldn't take it because we weren't going straight home. Had to leave it on the bill and waste 5$. So let me start with this is one of my favorite restaurants so I usually have a great experience but on Friday 10/7/22 this particular Texas Roadhouse at 11111 E 71st street has me reluctant to return to any chain type restaurants (I don't eat fast food at all except as a last resort while traveling) so I stay away from the Popeyes, McDonald's and burger kings. So jumping right to it, our food arrives and we're eating and enjoying everything. Well I'm about half way finished with my plate when I suddenly look down to take another bite and out from under my plate crawls a medium size cockroach. I don't think it caught a ride from the kitchen on the underside of my plate to the table because they get spooked easily so I believe it crawled from underneath the table. Anyways, it startles the crap out of me because I wasn't expecting it so I'm damn near jumping to get away without standing up causing a scene. It hides under a used napkin that's crumbled on the table and at the moment all of the fifty thousand waiters and waitresses have disbursed to every other corner of the restaurant somewhere. So in my mind I'm thinking don't disturb the napkin, grab any waiter and show them the running roach. It would be known so that the owners can arrange for a spraying or traps of some sort but NO. The guest I'm with decides to squish the napkin with the roach, MISSES and the roach runs off under the table. Therefore there is no longer any proof. I'm loudly exhaling my frustration along with the look of anger and some eye rolling. Yeah I'm pissed. Anyways I was done done after seeing our unwanted roach guest and we flipped the machine around, paid at the table and left. Thank you Tulsa TRH! Amazing Bone-in Reiby, cooked to perfection. The beer was Artic Cold, just the way I like it. The ladies behind the bar, Hailey and Becca were in charge, all about service and did a great job. I met Manager Nick who was minding his business, making his rounds making sure food and service was met. This TRH runs a tight shift and I had a great experience. First visit last Saturday and was my worst dining experience ever! Ordered ribeye steak cooked Medium Rare. It arrived Well Done. I sent it back. After waiting 15-20 minutes we were finally able to get a waiters attention! Asked about my steak,no one seemed to know anything. Manager finally brought it, left before I checked it but did tell me i wouldn't be charged. Again cooked Well Done. Everyone had finished their meals so I took it to go. I did show the waiter & told him he needs to tell the manager as a steak lover wants the steak cooked as ordered. Must say I'm very impressed with the service and staff at this location. Now I would not consider myself an expert at quality but Texas Roadhouse does offer nice cuts of beef for the price. I requested my steak medium rare for that rich robust bursting at the seems steak but the Ft. Worth was half medium, medium well w chard sides and center. Without any questions my server must have observed my face and asked how is your steak. Always a solid go-to restaurant if we're in the area and craving anything from a Chicken Fried Steak to the grilled shrimp. Basically, anything covered in gravy here is pretty delicious. (Pro Tip: The shrimp here is a million times better than Red Lobster, and cheaper!). Of course the rolls here are amazing once you slather some cinnamon butter on top of them. All of the sides here have been decent, and I can't really think of anything I've tried that I did not enjoy on some level. I would suggest getting the better cut of steak if you go that route. The cheaper cuts of steak here tend to be on the tougher side. The food can be a bit salt heavy here, just a heads up if you have sodium intake issues, but it's big on flavor. Oh, and always be sure to check the hours for the restaurant. I suggest calling to be sure. We seem to end up here for random lunches or for family meet-ups during the holidays, so you never know what to expect on the hours (even if they are posted on the website, etc...) read more

I began reviewing the bill on the kiosk after having the meal and noticed that they did not provide a credit for that item. They also charged us extra for a Jamaican Cowboy drink like we had a kicker. Our waitress eventually came to our table for me ask her to fix the discrepancies since we had a coupon and did not get a "kicker" for our drink. She began arguing with us. She sent a manager over who also started arguing with us. I told her that they could either fix the bill or we would leave. She sent another manager over. I told her the same thing to either fix the bill and give us credit for the coupon and us not having a "kicker" or they would lose us as a loyal customer since they opened.
