Well...I'm pretty much a loner when it comes to going out so I eat at the bar. Waiting is not usually an issue but if you're a yelper you should know waiting at a chain is inevitable on certain nights and you also know what night and times! After reading some of the reviews I was wary of going to this restaurant but my fellow diners overruled me and I'm glad they did. When we arrived we were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait; it turned out to be almost twice as long and the hostess wasn't very friendly but beyond her poor interpersonal skills my experience was actually very pleasant. Our server, Nicole, was very cheery and friendly. We told her that this visit was out first one and she was very patient and knowledgable about the menu. Despite a few "custom" drink orders specifying lemon wedges and such she was solid and did not have any trouble getting them to the right people. The atmosphere was not too loud. In fact, I was able to carry on conversation at a reasonable level with everyone at the table. The value was good - 6 of us had a large meal for about a hundred dollars. To close I recommend that anyone going to the Texas Roadhouse call in advance to avoid the wait and hostess. I also recommend the baked sweet potato fully loaded as a side. read more

I had ribs, their awesome blossom onion copy, and chili. Only the chili was good. The ribs were dry and not super flavorful, the onion was bland but at least well cooked (Outback's version puts this to shame). But the chili was good. I read the reviews but hoped the generally mediocre responses were just misses - if so they missed again with my order. There are so many wonderful locally owned restaurants around Williston that are so much better. I wish I had spent my money on one of those like I usually do. I would skip Texas Roadhouse next time. read more

I am from Connecticut and frequent the location in west haven ct often. While visiting my son December 23,2018 I decided to order takeout from this location. I was very impressed with their customer service. The young girl at the register who took my order did forget the appetizer when ringing( holiday weekend no big deal .. I wasn't upset) but when they realized it they went out of their way to apologize. They also added delicious brownies for my wait. The food was delicious and packed as I asked. I would highly recommend this establishment. Great customer service!! read more

went to Texas Road House for dinner and it was horrible, the service was so slow and you could tell our waiter hated his job, I had to get my own beverage, the food was so DISGUSTING, my husband's steak looked old and tasted like it, my rice was so soggy it was not eatable, wasted my money, will never go back!!!! read more

Our first experience at a Texas Roadhouse and we are leaving very full and satisfied. Our waitress was super friendly and gave us the run down of what makes then unique from other chain restaurants. The atmosphere was country from decor to music playing. Food was delicious, service was excellent...if I had to make a critique it would be to make the drinks a little stronger, but that's just my preference read more

We ate lunch today and ordered the baby back ribs, they seemed boiled and then bbq sauce was put on and then under the broiler. They tasted rubbery texture, didn't want to finish them, some of the worst ribs. Even the rolls were smaller. The boneless hot wings are still my favorite and get them all the time. Wish I could give 0 stars. First off, we called ahead and still waited almost 2 hours. After we were seated it took another 30 minutes to get any drinks. Our dishes from our appetizers and bread baskets were never cleared from our table the entire meal although they were stacked up. Our cups of water were also never refilled. Once we got our food a person in our group found a crumpled up receipt in her salad. Seemed like an old salad from another table that the kitchen just threw some new lettuce over. Another person in our group never even received her food. The food we got was doused in butter and lots was left uneaten. The manager, Diane was very understanding and seemed very unhappy with her staffs performance. Disappointed and disgusting. read more

We visited Texas Roadhouse after the governor issued a stay at home order during the coronavirus pandemic. They switched their usual sit down restaurant into a take out only venue to limit exposure. The parking lot was organized by their marketing manager who stood out in the cold with a walkie talkie and a clip board. We had called our order in, so when we arrived he took our name and had us park and wait for our order. When our order was ready, he was able to point to which vehicle the server should take our food to. The server was literally sprinting to customers' cars with their food, taking their credit card, and running back inside to run the card. Those poor girls were working up a sweat! Despite the situation, this wonderful team was able to adapt and give their customers the best service possible. Thank you for your hard work!!! read more

I am bummed that I can't make a note about something on the order, for like specials instructions or request for a veggie which is not on the list to order.. steamed broccoli which I always get there, but for some reason they don't advertise on the menu or online ordering. I told my 11- year old son he could pick any place he wanted to celebrate his birthday, and since Texas Roadhouse has always been a favorite, that's where he picked. This location does not take reservations, even though it's in a very busy location and many of the other restaurants in the area do, but I did do the call ahead seating (two hours before we were scheduled to arrive). I drove the 50 minutes from my home and we did end up arriving 1/2 an hour early so I called to tell them that, since I never received the text I was supposed to get and click on telling them that we had arrived. Elizabeth answered and told me ok, but that it was still going to be a bit. After a half hour of waiting in the parking lot I called back and Elizabeth answered and said they were still waiting for a table to open up. Mind you, there was only three of us and we saw plenty of people coming AND going as we sat there. I waited another 1/2 hour ( which at this point was 1/2 hour AFTER our call ahead seating time) and Elizabeth said we should be next. Another 15 minutes went by (so we waited a total of 75 minutes) and I finally received a text telling me to gather my party and head inside to be seated. We went inside where we gave our names and then proceeded to wait another 15 minutes, while they apparently tried to find something and seat at least 5-6 other parties. We were finally seated and our waitress was great, initially. But we didn't see her again until she brought us the bill. Instead 2-3 other employees brought us our appetizers and food, but we were left without refills on our drinks and my boyfriend found a very long and dark hair at the bottom of his salad bowl after he had almost finished his salad. We were never asked if we wanted dessert, and no one ever acknowledged my son's birthday. And after finding that hair, we were all pretty much left without much of an appetite. I could list many other restaurants that I would rather, and will be spending my money on in the future. read more

Based on the reviews, I thought I'd give it a try but was not impressed. I had a burger that was overcooked and tough as nails. Mentioned it to the waitress, who was pleasant enough, but didn't offer to change my order. Everything else, including what my wife ordered was ok. Nothing any better or worse than other chains but if I had to choose, I'd probably stick with Longhorn instead. The singing and dancing schtick was more annoying than entertaining. read more

A-ok pardner! The cinnamon bun flavor the butter gives to those nice soft rolls doesn't necessarily go with a rib-eye or most of the entrees in my opinion. The rolls are more than good enough to eat without butter though. Portions were HUUUUGE! A few reviews on here talked about skimpy portions, but I surely didn't see that going on in any way. The waitresses unabashedly solicit appetizers, two pound steaks and a full racks of ribs. You come here to eat hard! We stopped for lunch on a Saturday...got there at 11:38 and it was filling up quickly. By the time we left at 12:30, it was packed and the waiting area full as well. Wait staff was fun and attentive. I had the ribs and my partner had a salad w/country fried chicken. Fries were beyond salty and I love salt. They also throw cheese and bacon on the side of everything if you want, so I got a little cup of crispy bacon to add to the salt bath. Couldn't quite finish the fries... I had the appetizer ribs and couldn't finish them either because of the amount of food! They were just a touch dry, but pretty good overall. My partners salad wasn't overly inspired, but it was good, the chicken tender and moist, and it was enough for two meals! Fun, honky-tonk, almost but not quite tacky, franchise-y, full of TV's, mounted big game animals, mirrors, signs etc. Worth a go if you haven't been. read more

So we decided to come here with the family for dinner, but they were very difficult in working with us and a small baby. They wanted to set the stroller at the end of a booth in the aisle. We asked if we could have a table but they placed us in the main isle again. They wouldn't let us sit at the tables along the wall because they said it would be a fire hazard. So we left. I hope the manager takes the time to read this. We ended up going to Long Horns down the street and got seated easily at a stroller friendly table. read more

Went here with family and new friends. Even though we called in advance and told them that we were going to have 10 adults and 2 children in our party, they separated us into two boothes next to each other. There was no way for us to talk with anyone other than who was at our table. The appetizers that were ordered took a little while longer than normal to arrive, however they were very tasty. I ordered a full rack of ribs, and while the taste of the meat was very good, I had to get through the burnt crust on the outside. Needless to say I did not eat my ribs. The waitress however noticed there was a problem and after I informed her she told the manager, and the manager brought me a fresh rack of ribs. However, I did not get my new rack of ribs until everyone was done eating. So I had to take them to go. We did not order dessert, as we were going to our new found friends home for a birthday party. Would I recommend eating here in the future to anyone else? I certainly would. The service was excellent, and I gave 3 stars instead of 4 because of the burnt ribs, and not actually being able to eat my lunch while I was there. A special hello, to our waitress Lauren. I travel often, and have patronized this chain in many locations across the country, I normally am happy with the Texas Roadhouse dining experience, however this particular location has some issues that should be addressed immediately; the music is too loud and makes it difficult to hear your dining companions. Also, excessively loud, singing by the staff who dance in the aisles periodically. Other than that, my visit was okay. I ordered the ribeye, which was prepared perfectly, along with a baked potato and house salad. A good meal, except that out server did not pay enough attention to our table, and we sat there with empty glasses for about 15 minutes. read more

By far my favorite place to go. The environment is fun and the food and drinks are always great! One issue I've had is there is a young girl who sat us and said nothing to us and normally when you go in they ask if you've been there and to pick a steak she said nothing not even when seating us. In direct competition with Longhorn, which is maybe 10mins walking distance, Texas Roadhouse has an edge because they have that "fun" factor, that and i love their rolls to death. If it was available, I'd probably order 10 of them as a meal. Just spread on their cinnamon butter and I'm in heaven. Although this is my first review for Texas Roadhouse, it certainly was not my first time going there. Been here plenty of times and each time is always great, only downside is the wait when it is busy but that's a given if you are going to a great establishment! You can just munch on some free peanuts while you sit in their waiting area. Before they seat you they ask if you would like to choose your steak from their semi butcher shop at the front of the house, adds more to the fun factor. I personally don't choose my steak but I'm sure plenty of people do and have fun doing it. I've had their prime rib, rib eye, and ribs and each time they are cooked to perfection to my liking and they make sure of it by asking you to cut into your meat when they bring put your order. The steaks are always tender and juicy and flavored perfectly so i never need to use the steak sauce that sits with the salt & pepper on the table when you first sit down. Definitely suggest going during your bday cuz they will take you for a ride on a saddle and get the whole place to wish you a happy bday. During the dinner hours the waitresses with all gather and do a little song & dance which seems cheesy but hey, it gets the audience to let loose. I will definitely go back for the great atmosphere and steak. PS. If i had 1 complaint it would be to serve more than just 4 rills at a time cuz they are just too damn good and it melts in your mouth so fast you'd think to yourself, "was that roll good or bad?" read more

Coming from someone who's never been to a Texas Roadhouse before, this place was charming for all the right reasons: upbeat atmosphere, friendly waitstaff, and excellent food! The noise was loud even for a slow weekday, but it wasn't distracting enough to deter from enjoying the meal. We have been to texas roadhouse many times. Their fresh baked rolls are the best, very soft and warm. Oven roasted chicken is also good, if you're looking for a healthier option. I would not recommend getting the wings, since they lack of flavor. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights are usually very crowded. So, call ahead for seating. read more
