I go here as often as possible, the steak is just as good if not better than more expensive steakhouses. With the rising price of beef I dont think they make much profit on selling steaks, because their prices are very good. They must make up for it with their high price of drinks. So just drink somewhere else and go here for the great steaks! read more

Just had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience at this establishment. We are a family of 5 with 3 children. We called for call-ahead seating, but were not advised of a major heating problem. The dining room was freezing. We were sat right by the door, and after enduring 15 minutes of drafts due to the opening and closing of the front door, we were eventually moved (at our suggestion) to another location that was unfortunately equally as cold. We spoke to the floor manager and the owner. Neither of whom showed any empathy whatsoever, and were completely dismissive of our discomfort due to their HVAC issue. We were offered plenty of excuses, but nothing else. When we advised the owner, Drew, of our disappointment, he basically blew us off and said "too bad". He's right. It is too bad. Too bad that we, nor any of our family or friends will be returning customers. Rule of thumb, the customers needs should at the very least, be heard, and empathized with. read more

I know so many people who thoroughly enjoy this restaurant but I am not one of them. The ambiance is fun and I can see why families might like the low-key environment. They also have delicious rolls with this honey cinnamon butter but the rest of their menu is really nothing to write home about. As someone who doesn't really love steak/beef that much I can usually find a few good chicken or salad dishes at a steak house and still be happy with my meal but not so here; I think they literally have two chicken dishes on the menu and neither is yummy in my opinion. I always try to talk people out of eating here when they suggest it. I'd much rather eat at Longhorn - the menu is better and it's not so loud. read more

I have eaten at this establishment about 3 times. They do win you over with there dinner rolls. For those of you are are trying to watch your caloric intake or carbs, pass on this one. The waiting times are death because of it being a new place. I URGE you to do call ahead seating. You call up they give you a number and tell you what the current wait time is. When you go in you wait 5 min. The fact that the servers do line dancing adds a little spice to the already western environment. I do heed a warning. If you are going to a steakhouse to order a burger you will be sadly disappointed. They specialize in their steaks and ribs and getting a burger is just bland. I really enjoy Texas Roadhouse for a few reasons. First the food is always excellent, beginning with the fresh rolls and cinnamon butter, their salad with egg and ranch, the sweet potatoes are the best, and either a steak or ribs are delicious. Usuall don't go to chains as I like local ingredients and supporting small local businesses. But we ending up here. We sat at the bar. It was pretty clear from the menu that if you want to watch your waistline, this isn't the place for you. We passed on the rolls, so I can't rate them. I get the atmosphere they are trying to provide, so the shell in peanuts on the tables makes sense. We like poppers, so we ordered the jalepeno bites. Too much like a ball of fried cheese. We won't get them again. We ordered strip steaks. They were salty, but actually not too bad. I had onions on top of mine and it was fairly tender and tasted fine up until about half way through when I discovered buried in the onions was a piece of sliced chicken. Now, that probably came from somebody cutting up chicken to put on a salad and a piece fell into the onion pan. That's the best scenario I can think of and the one that makes me more comfortable than other possible scenarios. So I told the bartender there was a piece of chicken on my steak and she had no explanation how that could happen. She got the manager who came over and without any fuss on my end ended up telling me she could comp the entree, cook another one, or add a free desert. I asked them to comp it as my appetite was somewhat lost ofter that. She did the right thing and I would have done exactly what she did. I'd give the place another star just for her actions, but unfortunately the bar tender basically ignored us for most of our meal. She was too busy with conversation with her friends sitting on the other side of the bar. So the extra star gets taken away because of that. read more

When you can read cheese fries come with cheese, and bacon on steak fries on the menu in black and white but manager says bacon is extra that is why you have to ask for it. It's not about the 50 cent upcharge it is about getting what it says you will be paying for. read more

To start off, we were over quoted on our 10 minute wait which took about 20. Our drinks came out within 5 minutes and tasted great. Our server took our order and that was that. We didnt see her again until our food came out. We waited probably 25 minutes for our food and she had never brought out our salads, once our food was brought out she never checked back on our food when we both had meat. She brought the salads out in the middle of the meal without asking how the food was or taking our empty glasses. Coming from a girl with serving experience i was extremely disappointed with our server. She was friendly she just didnt really serve...at all. I know i would have been fired if I served the way she did tonight. I understand how annoying people can be and having bad nights, however we maintained our politeness. I was Not impressed. I will only go back because the chef is great (the sweet potato is to die for). I would have at least given a discount for the salads and crappy service but we paid in full and rushed out. My date could have gone better but now i know to ask for a better server. read more

I love the steaks at the Texas Roadhouse!!! And most of the time the service is really good !! A few times we haven't gotten someone who took a long time getting our food and forgot about checking up on us! But most of our visit have been excellent service ! The only reason I am rating a 3 is because it is just too noisy! I don't think anyone really cares about the line dancing ! It is kinda out dated ! But the noise level is too much sometimes ! Been to the Roadhouse twice. First time we called ahead and were seated immediately. We then watied for someone to take or drink and dinner orders-about thiry minutes. Then our dinners came cold. Did i mention the loudness of this restaurant, you can't even talk to each other at your table. The second time, with a party of seven, i said lets try again. We had a party of four adults and three teenagers. Calling ahead we were told to be there by 7:30, which we were. Waited til 8:45 to be seated. There plan was to seat all seven in a booth/ or six with one on the end. The booths are hardly big enough for four. They said when they could, they would take us and our dinner/drinks and move us to a better place. Both of these were unexceptable as far as i was concerned. I didn't want to carry food across the restaurant full of people. With alittle complaing they found a place for us all. Our waitress was good, as was our food. The food was very good an hot. . Price was ok. Not sure i want to go there a third time- The wait is long and if a large party they don't have seating approiate( a booth with a slide out table on the end(two people can be seated there). read more

I'll start by saying I'm sad that I have to give them a bad review. Used to be my favorite place. I cannot believe the terrible service we just experienced. We went on a Friday night at 8:30 so we expected a wait. We got there and they told us 10 min. Fine, no problem. 20 min later our buzzer goes off so we approach the hostess and she rudely tells us she called the wrong people and it would be a few more min. Ok, whatever, no biggy. We wait another 15 min while I watched people who came after us be seated. Mind you, there is only 2 of us. Our buzzer goes off again. We get to the hostess who again informs us she has called the wrong person. I tell her this is the second time this has happened and we have been waiting a bit longer then anyone left waiting. A few min goes by and she says they have a table. They bring us to a table that could seat 6-8 in the middle where I have had to sit before and you constantly have to scoot your chair in to let waitstaff and other diners by. Normally I wouldn't care bc it's busy but as I looked around there were multiple booths/tables available and clean that would seat 2 people much easier and more comfortably. At that point I just walked out. I was way to frustrated to try and eat there. I have worked in the restaurant business as a waitress and hostess and never in my life would I think any of that was ok! read more

I ordered an appetizer, beer and the country fried steak dinner. The steak came out and was total gristle. I tried 3 bites and could not chew or swallow any of them. I told the waitress who sent a manager over. She apologized and offered to fix me something else, but by then I was no longer hungry. I just asked her to give me a bill for my appetizer and beer. I had not been able to eat any of the steak and had a couple bites of the mashed potatoes, but stopped eating the potatoes and sent them back with the steak. The waitress took quite a long time to return with my bill. On the bill, they took off $5. for "satisfaction discount". They expected me to pay for half the steak dinner which was inedible. I called for the manager again, and left her the money they wanted and told her to split it up with the waitress however they liked, but I wouldn't return. Then she offered "What will it take to bring you back?" Guess they should have thought of that when they expected me to pay for half a meal that I couldn't eat.
