Stopped in yesterday 7/12/26 for lunch with my wife. Wasn't too overly busy. Got seated fairly quickly to a nice spot back in Willie's corner. Been coming here for many years since it opened, never had any issues. But unfortunately this visit wasn't too good. Ordered drinks , looked over the menu and chose some appetizers - tater skins and some fried pickles since we haven't had those in a while, decided to try something else other then the usual rattlesnake bits which are also a favorite. I ordered the 16oz sirloin with fries and applesauce, my wife went with the country fried chicken with salad and loaded sweet potato. Drinks came out , few minutes later the salad arrived. My wife finished the salad and we were waiting on our appetizers to arrive. 10-15 minutes went by still no appetizers. Waitress never checked on us to see if we needed anything , she mainly wandered around the bar area , didn't look like she had any other tables since it wasn't busy. Maybe another 10 or so minutes passed and out come our entrees. They were delivered to us by a completely different waiter. I told him about the situation that the appetizers were never delivered. The waiter went and quickly found the manager and sent him to find our waitress. He did apologize for the issue and offered us a $10 free entree on our next visit. He then asked if we needed anything , so my wife asked for another drink. $10 is enough to cover just an appetizer , but the tip for the waitress went out the window on that visit. The appetizers were taken off the bill. Not sure if our waitress was "new" but I was surprised that we had this issue when she wrote our order down. Better luck next time. The cocktails were delicious and so was the cactus. Our server was pleasant and attentive and everything came quick. They were out of baked beans which is fine I'll just pivot to something else. All three of us ordered sirloin. My wife ordered an 8oz piece, my mother in law and I a 6oz. They ordered medium and I always order medium rare. The kitchen obviously threw all the steaks on at the same time. My wife got hers medium. Ours were medium well. I'm not sending a steak back for being a little over cooked and that's why I order medium rare. The restaurant is exactly what all of their restaurants look like. Krysta was phenomenal; went above and beyond our expectations. Food was delicious and they helped me with my onion allergy for the food. We did want extra rolls and butter to go but no more rolls but she got us extra butter instead. We also got lemonades that were delicious and made our night. Service was spot on and would recommend. Great food! We went on a busy night and I wished I had realized that we could have gotten on a waitlist before going but now I know.

How I love Texas Roadhouse. The land of the reasonably priced steak dinner. In this day and age, that fact alone will get the masses packed into the dining room night after night. To even get to this place, you need to turn into a hotel parking lot. You can see the Roadhouse sign from all over the dang place, but if you're not familiar with the unique parking design, actually finding the entrance can be a challenge in itself. So yeah, it feels a bit wrong pulling into the Homewood Suites parking lot, but that's what you gotta do. Then keep driving, and Texas Roadhouse is straight ahead. Now comes the wait! Only on very rare occasions can you simply walk in and get a table without having to first wait in the very elongated waiting room. Trying to avoid the wait? Nice try, but they don't take reservations. So you are at the mercy of the other ravenous meat lovers in a ten mile radius. People seriously drive from distant towns to come to this Roadhouse. It just shows the wide, lasting appeal of being able to take out your family to dinner without racking up more credit card debt. No joke about the price difference. The "other guys" are serving up similar steaks but for 20% more. You could argue you are paying for better ambiance - the Roadhouse attracts families with small children, and well, you can imagine. The dining room is bright, it's big, it's loud. If that's not a problem then you just might be Roadhouse material. read more

Was in the mood for their ribeye and ribs combo. What better place to experience this than at Texas RoadHouse? My ribeye was seasoned and almost cooked to perfection!! The ribs were extremely fatty, while the majority of meat was somewhat stringy. I also almost swallowed some bone fragments, as they made their way into my mouth. The tossed salad and loaded baked potato are my favorite sides and they didn't disappoint me today. I enjoyed a basket of four rolls, with both regular and cinnamon butter. Service was on top of everything throughout my entire meal!! I'll definitely come back for the steaks, sides, and service. As for the ribs, I'll probably order them elsewhere? read more

As other reviewers have mentioned, it is extremely cold inside this restaurant when it is cold outside. If you have a choice, do not sit anywhere by the walls as there seems to be a strong cold draft coming through the wooden paneling. This is made worse by their ceiling fans in reverse mode that are pulling the cold air from outside through the paneling gaps. I heard many other customers complaining about this too and eating with their coats on which looked very awkward. This ruined our dining experience and our overall trip as we were visiting family from out of state. For this reason, I will not be returning to this location and do not recommend it to anyone until they have resolved this issue. read more

Out of all the "affordable" family friendly restaurants out there, Texas Roadhouse has certainly made their mark. The quality of their food is better than average, as is their service and prices. We did 'call ahead' seating and only had to wait 30 minutes on a Saturday night. We have been to this location many times and we have learned that it's a great idea to get on the waitlist. Our waitress was busy so I won't say the service was the best we ever had, but it wasn't bad. We did get water refills after flagging her down. Food was good, but they forgot the peppercorn sauce so we asked another waitress to get that for us (we didn't see our waitress so we just asked a kind waitress to help. read more

Texas Roadhouse is such an amazing corporation. Very pro military and pro America. Last time I was in here I got the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and white gravy. Absolutely delicious. The chicken fried steak is true sirloin steak that's breaded and deep fried. Not some pre made crap. The gravy was so good. Don't forget about them rolls and butter The service is always really good here. Went last night for dinner and the place was busy. Waited about 5-10 mins which was fine. Got some bread which is always nice and hot. But when the waitress came to take our order that's when it got bad. My son ordered from the kids menu mini cheese burgers w/fries. My wife ordered fish and chips. My daughter ordered chicken tenders w/ fries and loaded sweet potato and I ordered 8oz sirloin w/ grilled shrimp. After waiting about 20-30 mins for our dinner. Tell me how the hell my son gets a hamburger plain with no fries, the wife gets fish with no chips, my daughter gets her tenders and loaded sweet potato but no fries and I get an 8oz sirloin with baby back ribs? Since I'm already starving and feeling like my insides is about to eat its self I say fuck it and eat it while we try to flag down someone to let them know that we missing a cheese burger and ever order of fries. Even though it's a chain, the food came out really good. The waiter and White is really accommodating. Waiters will walk by the weren't even serving our table to ask us if we need a refill on drinks. I thought that was really great. I would definitely go back and recommend the place. read more

Party of 5, had a terrific waitress. That's where it stops. We ordered our food and drinks, appetizers came out in a few minutes. Main course came out in about 20-25 minutes. 2 of our party ordered 6 oz filets. Both were overcooked by a lot. Medium was ordered for both parties and they came out well done. They were sent back, when they were served again, 1 was undercooked slightly, the other was rare. A 3rd person ordered beef tips and potatoes. The potatoes were cold, and the beef tips were still stringy attached to the next piece. The mushroom gravy was very salty, and cold. All 3 of these guests are female. The other two were male. The guys didn't have a problem because they ordered medium rare steaks. The cook was observed when we first arrived, and he had a very arrogant attitude. He would put meat on the grill and walk away. Not totally his fault, there was also a very large amount of steak sitting under the heat lamp waiting to be plated and served. The expediter was over her head with her responsibility. read more

We took our grandson and his wife to dinner for his birthday this afternoon 1/15/25. We did waitlist request on line. Upon arrival, we received a text to come inside. We were seated immediately. We were greeted by our server CHRIS, who was very pleasant and outgoing. He made us feel welcome. He took our drink orders. He served our drinks, asking if one of the party members would need sweetener, it was brought out, along with an additional glass of ice for the iced tea. Not having to ask for these two items was wonderful and thoughtful. It should be noted during dinner he refilled drinks as needed, without asking the first time which everyone appreciated not having to wait. Refills on the rolls were also timely. Our appetizers were served and tasty. Salads were freshly and to specifications such as no egg. Dinners arrived, steaks cooked to perfection. Chicken was good. Everyone enjoyed their meals until they were stuffed. Chris stopped by the table several times to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. You can tell he takes pride in making sure his customers are having an excellent experience. He delivered the check, passed out take home boxes. But wanted to make sure that when I paid with the credit card I had hit custom for tip so he wasn't tipped twice, since a tip is added in on the machine. (since we gave him a cash tip) I'm not sure any server has ever done that before it was very thoughtful of him. Chris is a definite asset to the Texas Roadhouse Organization! Ordered take out for me and my wife tonight. Was very disappointed with how are food came out. My chicken was completely burnt I could only take a few bites. My wife's steak was half fat she didn't finish hers as well. The only good thing was the rolls with the butter. Their COVID precautions are great. Our waitress was super nice; she came over to our table a lot but it didn't feel overbearing or annoying. My steak was cooked medium rare, exactly as ordered. My fiance's burger was a tad dry, edible and good, just could've been better. My favorite part about Texas Roadhouse is typically the bread but they changed that up on us. They gave us bread, of course, but it wasn't the same roll-fluffy type but rather crispier. It was something else that was still good just not what we expected. After reading the reviews and after actually eating at this TR location I'm going to call big time BS on Steven B.'s review. Like him I'm an "experienced" Yelper (whatever that is supposed to mean in the grand scheme of things) and like him I'm well traveled and like him I've eaten at a few other TR locations and hands down this one is the worst that I've been to. It's a Wednesday night and things are fairly busy but none the less we're seated right away. Normally when you show up to a TR the hostess will walk you by the meat case and ask if you would like invest in some brief food porn time by oogling the steaks while she/he picks up a basket of the rolls which are dropped off at the table as soon as you sit down. Neither of the above happened. The rolls eventually showed up maybe fifteen minutes later by which time the first batch we got were far from hot. Steakhouse Filet Salad, Grilled BBQ Chicken, kids mini burgers and a kids steak were the menu items ordered. Our server who was overall non-existent asked how the kids steak and the steak for the salad should be cooked. We told her medium for both. Of course both come out completely well done to the point of being shoe leather dry. The mini burgers were fine but then again, how do you really screw that up? The quality of the meat for the BBQ chicken was fine but this is now the third straight visit to a TR where apparently BBQ sauce rationing is the new normal as the chicken barely and I mean barely had what could be called a dollop of sauce on it. The menu description of the sauce being basted on was laughably absent. I eventually got more sauce from a member of the kitchen staff who was delivering an order to another table but it was quite the PIA which goes back to my other comment about our sever being MIA (MIA as in drink refills were never offered until the check got dropped off MIA). I guess I should also add that both kids meals were ordered with apple sauce yet fries were initially served with both. Yes, this did get corrected but it was yet another annoying PIA mistake that shouldn't happen if people were actually doing their jobs. So what am I to make of our visit to this TR in summary? The ability to cook steak at the temperature the customer asked for? Nope Menu items fulfilled per menu description? Nope Food delivered to the table as ordered? Nope Decent-Prompt Service? Nope I think it's time to put down the rose colored glasses and realize that if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck it's probably not a dragon in a duck costume (Sorry Amy S. but I stole your line). I always considered Texas Roadhouse as one of my favorite places to eat. Today my spouse and I stopped in for our usual sirloin and roadkill both of which were severely undercooked. We waited for what seemed like forever to get our ears then to have to send them both back and wait way too long again. We have been here for over an hour and finally are eating. The manager was less than understanding about our situation and when I expressed our concerns, her response was "well I I said I was sorry" and "it takes time to make another steak." The funny thing about making the second steak is that they were not going to make another one but just reheat the first one. How is this sanitary? You put the steak back in the grill that was already cut into and given to the patron. No I do not recommend the Wyomissing Texas Roadhouse. read more

I arrived at 3:30 and the restaurant was 80% empty and I had to wait to be sat. As soon as I was sat my waiter came up to me and said "what do you want to drink and are you ready to order". I looked at him and said that I just sat down. The service has been HORRIBLE! Again, the place is dead and it has taken 39 minutes to get my food...why? Where I am sitting I can see back into the server station and they are eating Wendy's! Give me a break. Service is terrible. I cannot get my food. So we showed up around 4pm, and signed in and everything that they wanted. Then we sat there for over an hour as they called everyone else's name that came in before us and after us. We were a party of two, and they were calling everyone which was over four people. My partner even asked about the table and said it's going to be more time We eventually walked out and decided to order online and it did not say a time on how long it will take. Typically you would assume like 30-40 mins, but no it took over an hour to get food, we did not leave Texas Roadhouse until 6:30pm. A party of 2 should not take about 2 hours to even get food. Quickly seated, delicious food, prompt and courteous service. The onion blossom and the cinnamon butter on fresh baked bread are enough of a reason to visit! The entree portions are sufficient for the price, with enough left over for another meal. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals: Herb Chicken, Bacon Cheeseburger, & Portabella Mushroom Chicken. All were prepared well and served promptly. The service was great and was a nice balance of being very attentive without being overwhelming. We definitely will return and look forward to trying various other menu items in the future. We recommend that it is given a try- if you haven't already. It's worth it.
