The service from the eye exam to fitting is comprehensive. They are very detailed on how the frame fits on the face, and my prescription has always been spot on. The problem I have is the response and call back. It was impossible to reach them, even when all you want is a copy of your prescription. Dr. Dang has been my optometrist for 8 years (almost all my time in TX). He is very professional and thorough. Last year I went in complaining about headaches and eye pain. I see an ophthalmologist for my primary eye care, then I come to this TSO to get my new eyeglasses made. In the past, when I went to other businesses to get new glasses, they would tell me to look around and to let them know when I found frames that I liked. But here, Mrs. Dang greeted me warmly and we discussed what I was looking for, then she invited me to sit down as she picked out some possibilities. She could tell by looking at my prescription that certain types of frames would be unsuitable, so we didn't waste time with those. There were some styles of frames where the shape go well with my features. Since I have zero sense of style or fashion, I really appreciated her advice and help. Working together, it didn't take long to find a style that I liked, which looked good on me, and accommodated my prescription. When the glasses were ready, Dr. Dang took the time to adjust them for a perfect fit. They gave me some supplies for cleaning the glasses, and explained how best to care for them. The service here is excellent, Dr. and Mrs. Dang are friendly, professional and very thorough. They don't keep you waiting, and don't rush through your care. read more

This doctor and his staff (his wife) go above and beyond in patient care. I am a nurse and have been for 11 years. I've never experienced the level of care and attention that Dr. Dang and his wife express. Dr. Dang was willing to stay late and go out his way on July 4 holiday weekend because I was experiencing an issue. I was unable to get off of work in time to make the appointment that was arranged, but Dr. Dang again, agreed to wait to see me. I rescheduled for the following day. Dr. Dang called me later that evening to check on me and to offer some OTC medications that may give me some relief before I could get into see him. Ever since then, we have been seeing Dr. Dang - even after we moved to downtown area. I come from a Health care family and work in health care, so When it comes to choosing health care providers for me and my family, I am extremely picky and have very high standards and expectations from the doctors. But Dr. Dang has surpassed those expectations and standards and set the bar higher. He is one of the best doctors I have seen. Both him and his wife (she is the sweet lady that greets you behind the counter) are very knowledgeable, courteous and accommodating.. even when I don't have vision insurance, they will work with you. Before going to Dr. Dang, I had seen several eye doctors, but many of them messed up my prescription as I have astigmatism that requires thorough and more precise examination... After seeing Dr Dang I was so impressed with his work ethic. He didn't just do it because of money, he really cared about your eyes. He did a very thorough exam and told you in details all the things that you need to do to care for your eyes and your glasses. Because of that, I referred my husband to him.
