This used to be a good place to get tires. However the new manager is a lair and a crook. I bought 2 tires from them in July. I had one go bad and it's an obvious manufacturer flaw. As instructed by the tire company I went back to the store I bought them. I was told by the manager I had to buy 2 more tires to get this one replaced. This is an unethical way to do business. Tried calling the customer support for Texas tire. No response. The manager at first wouldn't even speak to me. He sent his tech. But after a few minutes he came out and made the statement about doing the tire warranty after I bought 2 more. Things got escalated and he called the police on me and claimed I had a gun. The cops came. Seen it was bs. Could see my side of things. Recommended I contact consumer affairs in which I have. Avoid this place at all cost. While visiting Texas with my family, we hit a pothole and needed a quick repair on a rear passenger tire. We took the car to Texas Tires and had what seemed like a positive experience at the time--fast service and friendly staff. Unfortunately, that experience has now turned into a costly headache. During my vehicle's first routine oil change and tire rotation, the shop discovered that the lug nuts on the rear passenger-side tire (the one Texas Tires worked on) were completely different from the rest--and worse, they had seized to the wheel studs. Because of this, the tire couldn't be rotated, and now I'm being told the wheel studs will need to be replaced at a cost of over $800. To make matters worse, when I called their corporate number to report the issue, they claimed I must have had the wheel lug nuts replaced at some point--shifting the blame onto me rather than owning up to using the wrong lug nuts in the first place. This deflection is deeply frustrating and unprofessional. This was completely avoidable. Had the SAME lug nuts been used and proper care taken, I wouldn't be facing an $800 repair bill. If I could give Texas Tire #51 in Norman zero stars, I would. I went in on April 21, 2025, for what should have been a simple service -- balancing my 24" Alcoa wheels and Predator New Mutant tires. I paid $652 for a full dismount, bead removal, remount, and balance with weights. When I got home, the ride was worse. Checking revealed they hadn't done the work properly -- beads were still inside, only one wheel had weights, and three wheels were visibly damaged. When I returned, the manager admitted his crew damaged my wheels but tried to push me into selling them to him or buying a whole new set. I reluctantly agreed to his upsell: $6,700 for new wheels/tires. That turned into two full days of waiting while they corrected their own mistakes cutting off improperly-installed spacers. Since then, I've made repeated trips to the store -- over 700 miles driven, more than 12 hours wasted -- trying to get them to fix what they damaged. Even after a written agreement on June 2 to send all 6 wheels, hubs, and lug covers out for refinishing, they only sent the wheels. The center hubs and covers sat untouched in a pile, and one wheel still came back visibly damaged. The manager claimed my tires were "too cheap to balance" -- yet I saw them selling that exact brand in their showroom. Corporate has been equally unprofessional, responding to emails with one-liners and no accountability. I've already filed complaints with the BBB and Attorney General. If they don't resolve this fully -- replacing the damaged wheel, refinishing the hubs/covers, and compensating me for time and mileage -- I'll take it to court. Stay away from this place. read more

I was not impressed with the level of service provided by this establishment. Texas Tires (located in Norman, Ok.) Initially, I visited them to have a TPMS replaced, with the goal of saving money due to the holiday season. As a parent, I am mindful of the road conditions, especially with the changing of the weather. The repair was supposed to be straightforward: Replace the TPMS sensor on my rear driver-side tire and be on my way. I was aware that they couldn't guarantee the technician could program the sensor since I purchased it elsewhere. However, this establishment has proven to be untrustworthy. They failed to replace the sensor and tampered with my front driver-side tire sensor, rendering it inoperable. Although only one sensor was malfunctioning, I took my vehicle to two different establishments, Big O tires and Hidbons, and both concluded that the sensor had not been replaced and the front driver-side sensor was damaged. Essentially, Texas Tires stole the functional tire sensor I purchased and failed to replace it, while also tampering with my front driver side TPMS. I contacted the manager, who took no action to rectify the situation or refund the payment I made for the services. Their services are based on an honor system, where I pay for their services with the expectations that they will not engage in fraudulent activities. I could not post unless I gave a star. read more

There is not enough space in this posting box to share each and every service, appointment, and conversation! We will never take our vehicles back to Texas Tire. Ever. After finally figuring out what was wrong with our vehicle AFTER Texas Tire worked on the front end, we are so incredibly thankful we did not end in a very serious car accident when driving on the highways in the condition our vehicle was left in. We have tried multiple times to discuss our concerns with Texas Tires and each time we were told to bring the vehicle back for them to check it out. MULTIPLE times our vehicle was left in the same place we parked it and left for days with ZERO follow-up, contact, or inspection. Disappointed is an understatement. read more

I was having an issue with my tire and having to refill it every few days so I took it in to see if it needed to be replaced or if it could be plugged and they checked it for me and it turned out to be just a simple fix with the cap connector - cannot recall the proper terminology for the life of me. they fixed it for me and sent me on my way. they were very friendly, professional, and dog friendly too. will be returning for any and all tire-related work for my vehicles as the last place (a mom and pop closer to my home scratched up my car) read more

False Promises and possible fraud. I ordered rims on June 28, 2024. I finally received them today. That's give or take nineteen days. The first install was promised on July 1, then was promised and rescheduled for July 3. Never happened. My car stayed on jacks through the 4th of July weekend. Today, when I went to pick up our rims, the employees tried to load our car with a set of used rims. We caught the switch thank goodness. They have nice rims. But their integrity is questionable. read more

I took my truck to this shop because I thought my wheel bearing was going out but thought it could also be the front tires. They told me my wheel bearing was not going out but my front tires tread was getting low so they recommended replacing them. I went ahead and replaced all four tires. Just because my truck is my daily driver and I did not want a blow out with my 1 year old in the truck with me. I was still having the same issues as I was when I went into the shop. My husband was finally home and had time to look at my truck. When he started trying to take the lug nuts off with an impact they were not budging. He tried multiple different power tools finally wine off except it broke in half. My husband called the shop and was told that they torque on those were 150 which is way over spec. The spec on what I drive with after market tires is 130. My husband is a CDL driver and the specs for a semi is not even 150. We did call multiple shops to confirm the 130 spec and every single one including a separate Texas Tires told us anything over that was excessive. When talking to the manager he did not care about me as a customer at all. I asked him what was I supposed to do if I had a blow out and couldn't change the tire due to me being a smaller person. He said well I don't know because you have to have an air gun to get them off you wouldn't be able to change it. So I would have been stuck on the side of the road most likely with my baby and no one would be able to change my tire except a shop. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I trusted these professionals to look at my vehicle and be able to see a wheel bearing was in fact going out. That did not happen. I could have done this myself but instead I trusted them and that was obviously the wrong thing to do. Then putting a tire on way to tight to where if something happened I wouldn't have been able to do anything due to how tight they tightened the lug nuts. The manager did not care about any of that they are out to make money and not what actually happens to the customer. I would not refer my worst enemy to use this company. This was the worst experience I have ever had. Update we were told by the manager at the time that the alignments were free of charge we took our truck back there to get that done and they told us that wasn't a think and charged us $109 then when we got out to the truck there was a wet spot on the ground. My husband asked them about it they sent a technician out to look at it and they informed us it was the AC. Come to find out it was our break lines leaking because they were completely disconnected. And my husband lost all breaks going into work and come to find out the break fluid was literally shooting out onto the ground. I called corporate and they called the manager and they completely changed the story so it made them look better. They refuse to do anything and said we don't touch the breaks when they rotate and align tires. Our breaks are completely gone we have no rotors and we now need new break lines and tires because the metal break line was rubbing against the tire. read more

I went to 5 different places just to get air in my tires. The other air stations either didn't work, were "coming soon", or had been removed from the location. Texas Tires was recommended. They are super friendly, professional, and helpful. I will go here for all of my tire needs from now on. read more

I bought my wheels here and had them installed, they have taken care of me very well since. They Have rotated the tires, checked my tires PSI and helped me in other ways.
