I spent a few minutes myself looking at one of them and determined that a check valve was stuck closed. I spent another few minutes looking at the piece of equipment I asked them to and then the manual online and then solved that problem - actually it also solved the third problem as well. They did refund the majority of the cost. Agree it is rare equipment but it was specifically mentioned up front. Also, still no idea why the acid feeder wasn't worked on.

Despite hiring a company that was supposed to oversee and coordinate the build, there was little to no project management provided. Nearly all of the work was performed by third-party subcontractors, and there was no meaningful follow-up or quality control from the company. Instead of proactively managing the project, they relied on us to identify problems, report issues, and continuously follow up for corrections. Even when legitimate concerns were raised, getting items repaired or completed properly felt like pulling teeth. Communication and accountability were lacking throughout the process. The most frustrating part was the disconnect between the sales process and the actual experience. During the sales pitch, they told us everything we wanted to hear and presented themselves as a full-service company that would handle the project from beginning to end. In reality, we found ourselves acting as the project manager, quality control inspector, and customer service department. If you're considering this company, be prepared to closely monitor every phase of the project and advocate for yourself at every step. Based on our experience, I would not use them again and would not recommend them to others.

However, before the pool was completed, I learned that he had been let go from the company for unknown reasons, which raised a red flag for me. Despite this, I continued with Waterscapes and was assigned a project manager named Grayson Whitman. Grayson communicated smoothly and effectively, and I ignored several red flags, convinced that the final result would turn out well. In hindsight, I deeply regret not overseeing the project more closely and not expressing my concerns more assertively when something didn't look right. This experience has taught me the importance of vigilance and assertiveness in such projects. My disappointment with the craftsmanship of the pool and spa is profound. Waterscapes hired some of the lowest-quality contractors I have ever encountered. Within just over a year, my pool has faced several issues. For instance, the pavers were installed unevenly and are on a slope that seems too steep. Also, mold has started growing between the pavers, a clear sign of poor workmanship. Moreover, the cage has begun to rust, and the screening is breaking due to being stretched too tightly. Given my price for the pool and spa, I expected them to last longer before showing signs of wear. The fact that these defects appeared within the first year after completion was unexpected and disappointing. You may wonder if I reported these issues, and the answer is yes. However, most of my complaints were dismissed despite believing they were justified. I encourage potential buyers to be cautious when dealing with this company. All the problems I mentioned arose just over a year after I had the pool installed. As you might expect, they offer only a one-year warranty, and once that period is up, they will not even take your call. I could share much more, but this platform only allows limited information. I would not recommend them. The color we had verbally agreed which they sent in a photo of a pool…read morethey had done (see below) and which I had agreed in texts, was not the color used. In the quote, the color is incorporated in the type of the material and listed under the Material Used section. I assumed Aqua Cool was a further description of the Material Used. Aqua means water in French and Cool is not a color, so Aqua Cool Stonescape Mini Pebbles sounded the right material for a pool with cool water. The color I had chosen was French Gray. The quote included a very small photo of a swatch, HOWEVER it did not STATE AT WHAT DEPTH the photo was taken and therefore there is no way to determine color based upon a swatch and no reference to depth. ALSO having agreed French Gray so many times, I was not expecting to have to re-approve the color. I spent $20,000. They are suggesting I PAY THEM another $12,000 plus all the start up costs to achieve the color we agreed. BUYER BEWARE.

We have a 25 ft pool in a rectangular design specifically to provide enough space to swim short laps if you wish or just to laze around in if you wish. It is self-cleaning and the heater and pump are silent. We are using their excellent pool service, and the service rep comes on the same day each week and is very thorough. Finally, they are not remotely salesy and happy to provide all the information you need whether you buy or not and their pricing is competitive. I'd recommend them as the best in the area.
