Salmon - not even 6 or 8 ounces.

A waste of time & my money! My mother & I paid over $70 for food that did not satisfy us. Our waitress wrote down our order & it STILL came out incorrect. Trying to eat healthy, my salmon was on a diet or a preemie (see pic). Our waitress did not take the time to actually see if we were okay or needed anything - she asked so fast & unclear & kept on walking to her next task. TGIF really could use some renovations - seating, menus, & bathroom. We had to stop at another eatery to get something to eat & unfortunately spend more money to actually feel like we ate dinner. SHAME!! The quality & quantity of food & service has declined over the years. GOOD HELP & COURTESY IS HARD TO FIND!

I'll admit that I only stopped by this TGI Fridays because I had an hour or so to kill before running my next errand. The restaurant has all the makings (brand-wise) for a TGI Fridays; however, there were a couple of things that made this a subpar experience compared to my other TGI Fridays experiences. I'll start with the good. While service was a bit slow, I thought the bartender that waited on me was super nice. I have a feeling that service was a bit slow because there was a few large parties, and the restaurant appeared to be short-staffed. I think I waited about 10-15 minutes before the bartender took my order. When I arrived, I sat at the bar for a while and did not see the bartender. So I went to the restroom figuring that I could pee and wash my hands while waiting for the bartender to return (who knows maybe she returned and left while I was in the restroom). I came back out and still had to wait for about 10 minutes for some assistance. I thought the prices were comparable to other similar restaurants in the area. Things that could have been better: 1. I visited on a Saturday night, and temps were in the low 40s F. Unfortunately, I think there was little to no heat on in the restaurant. Normally, this would not be a huge problem, but the bar is situated right next to the double doors. Also, folks would hold both set of doors open at the same time while entering and leaving the restaurant. I guess the latter is more of an issue with the customers and less on the restaurant. 2. During my visit, I was sadden to learn that the bar did not have ANY draft beers available. I could understand the restaurant not having 1-2 draft beers in stock, but not having ANY seemed a bit strange. Perhaps, the restaurant was having some technical issues. 3. I ordered a cup of French onion soup and a side of fries. I thought the fries had way too much salt + other seasons, which made them pretty inedible.

Ad does not say only pasta can be ordered.

Friday, October 17, 2025: Last 2 visits were a disaster. Our previous visit (September 18, 2025) was for National Cheeseburger Day. The gluten-free roll was inedible and the burger was so salty that I asked for it to be remade without the roll and on a bed of lettuce. The burger was raw and inedible that I could not finish my meal (see below). Fast Forward to today: There was a BOGO for National Pasta Day. We read the flyer carefully and it did not specifically say that we had to order pasta. I am allergic to wheat and would not have been able to eat Pasta of any kind! We asked the waitress who insisted that we "had to order pasta!" We asked to speak with the manager. We were not rude or defensive, but the waitress made a snarky comment about our asking for assistance from the manager every time that we come in! We used to really like this waitress, but as time went on, she has become bossy, authoritative and rude. The manager came out and said that she had tried to put in non-pasta dishes and the application would not let her do so. She admitted that the ad was misleading and that this was a common occurrence and that these email ads were written poorly. She was very apologetic and was very nice to us, saying that the waitress had been inappropriate and that she would speak with her. Even though we could have used points for our meal, we left and will probably end our relationship with Fridays. We don't want to change the times that we go to a restaurant to avoid an inappropriate employee. Rather, we will go where we can get good and polite service along with good food.

ONLY at this location! ONLINE it said "ALL DAY". Poor customer service! "Franchise" version

Beware: this location is out for your money!!! Went for ALL DAY Free Meals for Teachers on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 as advertised ONLINE! This location printed out their own advertisement that said the free meal for teachers was from 3pm - 7pm. (Conveniently during Happy Hour only???) They just wanted our money!!! The staff was anything but helpful and said "That's corporate but this is a franchise." in response to seeing the photo. When we asked to speak to the manager, the bartenders went to the back of the restaurant to talk to patrons not to look for the manager. The ambiance was extremely loud with music blasting. You had to yell to the people sitting next to you in order to have a conversation!

We were in town the night before my husband's heart procedure at the nearby Adventist HealthCare at White Oak Medical Center. Stayed at the closest hotel. Trying to find a place to eat dinner the night before. Have to say, I was skeptical because the reviews for this place were terrible. However, we were pleasantly surprised! Yes, like a lot of places, the server had many tables to wait on, but we were not in a rush. We are not "those people" that start complaining if the server doesn't run up to our table to get a drink order as soon as we sit down. We got the appetizer pretzel bites and they were delicious. Really hot. Cajun shrimp and chicken pasta was delicious. My husband said his fish and chips were really good too. He ordered the fish slightly extra crispy. I got the peach sangria drink, and it was also really good! There was quite a lot in the glass, as opposed to most places where you get nothing but all ice. If I lived in this area, I would definitely come back.

I've been ordering delivery from this location for the past year and I always get the Signature Whisky-Glaze Burger with French fries. I'm always pleased with my burger and unlike a lot of places, they actually cook it to the temperature ordered and don't overcook it (too much). Sometimes the portion of French fries can be a bit skimpy but this order was sufficient and I enjoy their garlic flavor. They forgot to include a utensil set and the extra whisky glaze sauce I ordered and this has happened a few times in the past. I advise calling to make sure extra sauces or condiments, especially ones that are paid for are included in the bag because they tend to forget.

Pre-ordered the $28 Friday Feast for pickup at 1pm on weekday more than one hour ahead. Arrived around 1:02pm, but nobody at the front desk. Walked up to the bar, and saw a staff serving two small groups there. Went around the aisle, and saw one table of patrons. I saw our bag of lunch waiting on the shelf, but did not want to go in to fetch it. After eight or so minutes of waiting, someone finally came out to hand over our bag of food. The Pan Seared Pot Stickers were still warm and well cooked. The Caesar Salad with Chicken met expectation. The Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken was tasted average. The ice cream had begun melting. The Brownie Obsession was topped with chocolate syrup.

We altered the mushroom special with half sausage. The three cheeses and the caramelized onions with balsamic made for a delicious pizza! The waitstaff was great - checked in frequently and even teased us with humor when we requested a box to take home what we didn't finish. We just had a few ciders, and they were a dollar off. For food, I got the haddock platter that came with Old Bay potato chips and veggies. I really loved the fish and those chips, but I found the veggies to have more butter than I'm typically comfortable with. And to me it was just that, not necessarily seasoning to upgrade the flavor. Otherwise, the bar area can get a little tight during peak hours, and there are plenty of lower tables to sit at. Seems like the place can I get busy on any given day, but it's a vibe! Everybody is really nice. Parking can be a challenge I feel like (somehow I got the last spot)... If it fills up, the adjacent lot is adamant about the parking only being for the few restaurants there. And the street parking is going to be a gamble.

"I did not have one complaint at Remington's," is an understated way of saying, "I could grow to…read morelove this place." I had a friend who used to go and pick up tamales at Remington's, decades ago, and share them with me. I've never been inside. I knew their food was consistently reliable based on the fact that people are still crowding its parking lot. Remington's sits on a long stretch of road with two major towns at each end: College Park and Laurel. There have been nights in bad weather, driving along this long stretch of road where nothing else in the densely built suburban landscape to the left and right of it was open. But Remington's faithfully was and still is with its lit sign. Sort of like a true outpost in an old Western. Remington's is all bar stools, bar and high-top tables unless you are eating at the picnic tables or smoking cigars and sipping whiskey on the covered outdoor patio. But if you want to eat indoors, I think there are only 4 standard tables in the restaurant. This is a clean and comfortable dive bar atmosphere with tv monitors for sports. Yelp asked if Remington's was intimate, and yes, because it is small and cozy. I wonder if Remington's hasn't gotten fancy - in food and beverages - over the years to keep pace with the not-so-distant University of Maryland students. Since I've never been inside before, I wouldn't know how it used to be. Our crowd appeared as locals, less elite and middle-aged gathered for the FIFA games. I was surprised to find - in the outpost-like atmosphere Remington's has always been located in - most burgers are over $18. But this is one place where I'm not complaining because the food was darn good. Let's start with the mussels. If I were a Belgian chef I do not think that I could have made these mussels - and their glorious broth - better. The mussels were tender and flavorful. The cream broth was the best. This broth was the most creamy and simultaneously ultra-garlicky that I've enjoyed. I loved the tomatoes seasoned with a spicy kick tossed in. This is a culinary refinement because if they are actually cooked into the broth, the tomatoes would change the color of the white broth, and its taste. These tomatoes were a welcome touch. I don't know if this is a Maryland style of broth but sign me up. I'm talking a mussel broth love affair over here. The cheesesteak was better than most in this area. I wasn't hallelujah-ing in the aisles but I liked that the meat actually wasn't flimsy. It tasted like a thinly-chopped ribeye, a bit chewy with a sear. I liked the size of the strips. Was it actually steak vs. frozen beef paper slices? I think I can say, "yes," it's actually a cheese steak." The Reuben sandwich was well seasoned. I think it was thousand island, but whatever it was had a nice flavor. It's not easy to find a place where you can order Reuben's these days. On Yelp, I saw an Indian Butter Chicken pizza but I didn't find it. I wonder if it could be requested. They have so many varieties of pizza combinations. I'm just taking a wild guess and thinking that their pizzas are as equally flavorful. I ordered a cranberry fruit crush. Yum! Righteously. I don't know if it was juice added to another orange, fruity mixture but I loved it. It was sweet at first and then strong: all in the first sip. Sampled beers: 1. The Main Beer Company's "Lunch" IPA. This is straight grapefruit hops on the palette. A characteristic strong body. Bitter as should be for a New England IPA. 2. Bells Two-Hearted IPA (ABV 7.0%): this one was very drinkable and by that I mean I really enjoyed it. It is brewed with centennial hops from the Pacific Northwest. Yes. It is described as having, "hop aromas ranging from pine to grapefruit." 3. Elysian's Space Dust (ABV 8.2%) is pure IPA. Strong likely from the chinook. It's from Michigan. It's described as a "Great Western premium two row with c-15 and Dextri-pils." Not a beer snob but I appreciate the geeking-out and Dr. Seuss-inspired branding. New England IPA fans will love this one. I'm only a fan of West Coast-style IPA's. 4. RaR Grove City Hefeweisen (ABV 5.3%) is a clear and light hefeweizen. Easy to drink. Highly recommended, with a few added oranges. A half of a ripe white peach would be interesting in this beer, if the bar happened to have them. Remington's markets Whiskey Flights as a way to taste rare bottles. They do not list the prices on these flights. I guess it's an, "if they have to ask ..." scenario. I am intrigued about these whiskey flight prices. I didn't catch the times of happy hour but there is also a golden hour. I also saw daily special weekday prices from 7pm and onward. Maybe this is the golden hour. Like the one restaurant open through rain, wind, sleet and snow, serving up its magic faithfully for decades. Whatever the case, this is one restaurant that appears like a dive bar but over-delivers in food quality and taste. Applause for Remington's!

We got seated right away, the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Our server was Mark who we loved as hecwas personable and very attentive to our needs. Today we ordered The Buffalo Chicken Nachos which honesty is always good here, the right amount of everything and layered nicely so you do not get to the bottom and just find chips, the goodness goes all the way to the bottom and the order is more than you can eat. We also ordered The Crispy Cauliflower which was OMG good. We ordered ours with a sweet and spicy sauce on them which was perfect but you have many options to choose. It had a great crunch and flavor. Bottom line- great job today Green Turtle dudes.

Great beer garden/brewery not far off 355 in Rockville! Front of business is a bustling dining and…read morebar area with plenty of seating (sit wherever you like) with board games available for rent. The back area has the brewery section and additional space for events/private parties. Ordering is done with QR codes at the tables. Service is very friendly. Menu has many types of brews and bar food. They also have wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic beers. Was here for an event. Crowded, bustling and full of life in this joint. Shared a "big cheese" cheese pizza. It has a crispy and slightly chewy crust with a tangy tomato sauce, basil, mozzarella and parmigiana cheese. Comfort food at its best. Others tried pepperoni and veggie pizzas which were also praised. For my beverage of choice went with the Stella Artois (non-alcoholic as I had a long run the next morning). It was light and refreshing. They also had cups and a water cooler at the right wall for those who wanted to hydrate throughout. Love this!

While staying in the area, I was looking for someplace for a fairly quick dinner before going to a…read morelocal event. I'll always consider breweries that serve food as options. Silver Branch's selection of foods and beers was just the type of place I was looking for, and as icing on the cake, that evening, a local pet adoption center was going to have some dogs outside you could meet and that hopefully some locals would adopt into a forever-home. Ordering food and drink from any of the many tables inside is super convenient. Each table has its own QR code that you can scan, to bring up their menu on your phone. Once an order is placed, the food and drink come out very quickly, and a running tab will be kept until you choose to close it. I enjoyed my stout (a can pour) with flavors of coconut and almond, and it paired nicely with my Southwest Salad. It wasn't obvious to me, as a first time customer, that you have to get your silverware and napkins from a station a elsewhere in the large room, but luckily, I had overheard someone else commenting on that before my food arrived. The only possible problem might be parking on busy nights. For example, on this night, a concert was going to start nearby; the dinner crowd was larger than usual, and more parking spots in the area were taken. Other than that, food and drink are very enjoyable here, and I'd certainly come back if I'm in the area again.

It has a very nice outdoor area, and an indoor area with a long row of high tables and a long bar. I sat at the bar for the best view, and they ID'd me the second I sat down... it's been a while outside of a security person lol. Anyways, I decided to try the samosas and their potstickers...both were lovely appetizers. I could've gotten even more, but I didn't need all that. I've been hearing things about their sandwiches... perhaps I'll try one next time! The place reminded me of Big Daddy's in the sense that it was connected to a beer & wine shop. They have quite the variety of things, and there's a takeout spot in the back of it -- in fact, all the food seems to come from back there. It wasn't on the menu I was looking at, but they definitely have pizza. I'm going to have to try that next time I go. The vibe of the spot was really nice... but then again, it might've been the music. They do trivia, and they might do karaoke? Who knows. But either way, I'll be back!
