    the horrid crab dip

CRAB DIP OR CAT FOOD!?!? chips stale! crab dip is like blended artichoke dip with fishy substance. I'm actually scared it's going to come to life. OMG! ITS CRAWLING AS WE SPEAK! just kidding but it's really gross! don't get it... stick with the french fries they are BUSSIN!

Zing on feeling old! Zing on wine in a shooter glass! Zing on the guy fist pumping to the Akon song! Even during my college years, Cornerstone was one of my least favorite bars in College Park. Don't get me wrong, it never really stopped me from going every once in awhile, but it was never my preference. Coming back to Cornerstone reminded me how this place is truly the quintessential college town bar. Sticky floors, plenty of drink specials, frat boys, top 40 hits, dirty bathrooms...very predictable. We ordered a quick bite here while we watched the game. The food, wasn't terrible, but was pretty standard bar fare. The beer battered fries that I nibbled off my friend's plate were awesome, but don't waste your calories on the nachos. They were soggy, salsa heavy and lacked flavor. If you're under the age of 23, you may still have a good time here. Just be mindful that when school is in session this place gets packed out and there will most likely be a cover at the door.

This place counts as a classic college bar. Lots of good happy hour specials, Sunday has the "Big Ass Beer" special (buy an actual glass mug/stein, a rarity these days of cheap plastic cups), and lots of people on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. There is a good mix of age ranges but on the aforementioned nights expect the crowd to run college age. Not a bad thing but just be aware. Staff is friendly and fun. The interior is basic wood, lots of TVs, neon beer signs, etc. They do have some outside seating. On game days the place gets packed. It goes without saying that this is a Maryland bar. I had the wings every time I've come here so I would recommend them. Friends have gotten burgers and liked them.

waitress gave us 4 drinks and they all were made incorrectly. for 25 dollars and 2 drinks i should be able to walk up and DJ for the next hour. sad to see cstone fall off.

It's the best place for a college town bar. Great quality food with a good price, especially during happy hour, but still a good deal during regular hours. Many TVs on with all the games you'd want to watch.

Cheap but strong drinks, slow service if you can't deal with it this is not the place to go. Kitchen and bar Service is slow but the servers are very friendly. Come here if you want to sit and drink but if this is where your pre gaming I would suggest pregamming at home. The wings are phenominal but they burnt my burger

So, let's start with food. Once we were seated and greeted by Sara, we sat around and talked for a bit before deciding what we wanted. The drink menu is wild so I opted for a beer. After all, it is a brewery! I opted for an IPA, my friend also ordered a beer (Dark & Stormy, a dark beer), and the other ordered a drink. Although my beer was 11%, it wasn't bitter and tasted juicy! It was good. I got the fish & chips w/coleslaw, one friend ordered onion rings and the other ordered salmon. Those onion rings were banging! and the coleslaw was pretty good too. Who doesn't love some fish & chips. Sometimes you just want something crispy! Overall, the food was decent. But let's talk about the general store-----------WOW! It's stocked with EVERYTHING!! Mugs, puzzles, seasonings, socks, leggo's, books, anything you can imagine. It's wild! Then......they also have liquor and beer. I'm talking craft beer, good wine, etc. Oh, and let's throw in an ice cream shop. Yes, an ice cream shop. They have everything! Check it out for yourself!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was friendly and professional. Our server was amazing -- super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. We started with the cheesesteak spring rolls, and they were absolutely mouthwatering. For my entrée, I went with the Steak Frites, and it was delicious. The steak had great flavor and was cooked perfectly. The truffle fries were also really tasty, although they were a little on the mushy side. We finished things off with the cheesecake, which was honestly to die for. One thing that really stood out was how quick the service was. Our food came out surprisingly fast, especially considering how fresh and delicious everything was. If you're in the area, Burtons Grill of Riverdale is definitely worth a visit. Food Highlights We started with the chicken wings in jerk seasoning, and they were a revelation. The seasoning was spot on-bold, authentic, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. For the main course, I opted for the "Ribeye Steak". It was tender, juicy, seasoned and full of flavor. The sides were on point too. I also added fried shrimp and a loaded baked potato that was cooked just right and the perfect complement to the steak. I also tried the Boom Boom shrimp that was extra crispy just like I like it and tossed in a spicy sauce that had just the right amount of kick! Everything came out hot and at the perfect temperature that I requested. Drinks & Atmosphere The drink menu is impressive, with a vast choice of beers and ales that would satisfy any craft beer enthusiast. It's tucked away in an industrial area off Route 50, and unless you're looking for it, you'd probably never know it was there. We had a party of 12, and almost everyone in our group was visually impaired, including my mom. Dining out with a group like ours can sometimes be challenging, but the staff did a really nice job. As the only one at the table with 20/20 vision, I can honestly say they took the time to explain the menu, answer questions about the food and drinks, announce themselves when they approached the table, and help everyone through the payment process. Those extra touches meant a lot and made everyone feel comfortable. I ordered the wings and a drink, and my mom had wings, a salad, and a drink. Everything was fresh, the wings were cooked well, the drinks were good, and the portions were generous for the price. The restaurant itself has a cozy, laid-back neighborhood feel. It isn't a fancy place, but it's clean, comfortable, and somewhere I'd happily come back to. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because of the service at the end of our meal. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, but apparently his shift ended as soon as he took our orders. The manager and bartender stepped in and did the best they could, but with a large group that was mostly visually impaired, it made things a little more confusing than they needed to be, especially when it came time to sort out everyone's food and separate checks. No one was rude, and they worked hard to make it right, but I think management could have handled that transition a little better. Overall, I had a great experience. The food was good, the prices were reasonable, and I really appreciated how welcoming the staff was to our group. I'd definitely come back, and I'd recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area.
