They do everything in house and were able to fix my boots for next day pick up. Most other places have to send them out and that can take days.

I thought for certain the shoes were ruined - they had a black metal-type button (not sure what you call it) missing after I had worn them a handful of times. I went to the shop, which looked like it had been there forever. I showed the guy the shoe and what was missing and he said "they don't make replacements for those anymore, but I think I have a jar of them somewhere...". He wandered to the back and returned with an old baby food jar filled with miscellaneous "buttons" and found one very close to the one missing on the shoe. I agreed to the repair and was delighted when I picked them up later. They were great! It took a few weeks for the repair, but I don't think that is normal. One of their repair guys (there may only be two of them) had been out on medical and they were behind on their work. If you need to find someone who really knows how to repair shoes, these are the guys to go to.

I have been about as patient as I can be. I told him he has a week, which will be October 25,2023. He will either have them done next week or I'm getting my boots back that won't be wearable. I would highly recommend not doing business with him.

The shop made lasts of each foot, designed the boot to accommodate my fused ankle. Elephant bottoms, dark blue goat tops. Wearing them for work, they looked like high end Italian dress shoes in my three piece suit. The day I picked them up, I missed Dolly Parton by 30 minutes as she, too, was there for the final fitting on her show boots.Lasted for many years of total comfort. My toe finally wore a hole in the side of the boot. I miss them every day. They were the best ever.
