Never really had a problem ordering from here until recently. My partner ordered the yellow curry (which is never anything above mild spicy) and it was SO unbearably spicy that he took one bite and threw the rest out. I couldn't even try/eat my pad cashew because whoever made it did not even bother to read the order and put chicken in it instead of the tofu that was ordered. Our entire meal literally went in the trash because of the cook's negligence. Thankfully, Postmates refunded our money, but it was still a huge waste. You wouldn't do that to a customer ordering in person, so please do better for those that choose to use a delivery service. read more

This is my friends and I's go-to Thai takeout in STL. Delicious food and incredibly quick service- what more could you ask for? The curry is to die for and their noodle dishes are my Thursday night staple. The interior is pretty cramped, so unless there's only two of you or the weather is nice and you can sit outside, I wouldn't recommend dining in during busy lunch or dinner hours. Parking is always difficult in CWE, but if you can find a friend to drop you out front and loop around the area while you pick up your carry-out (which takes 2 mins max) you're good to go. There have been some complaints about the service by other yelpers and my own friends, but I honestly don't mind quick, to-the-point service, even if it does sacrifice friendliness. read more

First night getting curbside during quarantine, and it was a success with Thai 202! After calling several places that weren't as seamless, Thai 202 answered the phone quickly, took my order efficiently, and said my order would be ready curbside in 10 min. Ordered a few noodle dishes, including Pad Thai, and some potstickers. The Pad Thai was a bit dry for my taste, but once I added some lime juice it was great. The flavors were yummy, and the tofu was a good texture - not too hard or oily. The potstickers were on the crunchier side, but came with a nice sauce and also good flavors. The curbside experience was fast and professional, and the service overall great. Also, for all that food including tip, it was $30. Very affordable! Will be back! read more

And it gets busy. And they close at 9 where every other restaurant seems to stay open until at least midnight. But the food is top notch Thai food. Freshly made to order and so ridiculously good. I kind of wish they'd stay open late and just crank out appetizers for the bar crowd but whatever. The only downside is the chalkboard menu doesn't indicate spice levels. If you look at the take-out menu, certain dishes are marked as spicy. So I don't know how that works, but as far as I can tell, you aren't asked about spice levels. But that's no reason to take off a star. This place was great and well worth coming to if you are visiting the Central West End area. read more

Tiny little joint, but wonderful food. In walking distance of where I live, so it was perfect to walk to and enjoy a meal before walking back home. I ordered the special, which was a chicken and rice bowl with a peanut sauce. The bowl was huge, but of course I ate it all because it was super good! The peanut sauce was mild and being a spicy food lover, I added a lot of chili sauce to the bowl to give it more flavor. I loved the cucumber salad that was also on the bowl. It gave the bowl a nice refreshing and healthy touch. It feels like a hole in the wall restaurant that is definitely family owned and operated, but don't let the look scare you away because they truly put out some great food. I pop in here pretty frequently to pick up takeout on my lunch break, and it's always delicious. It's quick, simple Thai food made right. The menu is extensive and there are great daily specials. We got the Pad Thai and Thai Fried Rice, should be a given. The Fried Rice was on point in size and flavor. The Pad Thai was sweet but not too sweet, although Thai chili pepper sauce is a must addition (available near the soda station). The only negative in my opinion is it's slightly messy feeling and the kitchen looks like a B+ more than an A, but C's get degrees so it's all good. Solid fast casual Thai spot in the CWE! I love the location and find that this is my go to spot in the area when I'm craving Thai food. This place is especially good if you're a quantity-over-quality type of foodie as their portions are extremely generous. (The pad thai feeds at least 2!). The food quality is typical for fast casual Thai and leaves a bit to be desired in terms of flavor complexity and development. When I complained that I had been calling for a half hour, they said "Oh, we close our kitchen at 8:30 and stop answering our phone." You're closed for takeout business at 8:30 pm on a Thursday night? Ridiculous. But at the very least post your ACTUAL closing time so people don't have to waste their time on you. read more
