First time here. Went for lunch. I don't typically enjoy Thai food as it is usually way too spicy for me. However, I was delightfully surprised!! This is the standard I judge and compare all Thai restaurants going forward! The food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I tasted the food, the marinade and the perfect blend of seasoning. I tasted the peanut sauce. Truly phenomenal! I didn't add any to the sate; it wasn't necessary, as the beef was perfectly moist, seasoned and grilled. I was expecting the fried rice to taste like you would have at other Asian restaurants. It was way better, to me - anyway. I'm part Asian and am well aquatinted with fried rice. The cucumber salad - the balance of acid and sweet; can only be described as ON POINT! This is a small and quaint spot. Easily missed. Thought it was a new spot. Been here for at least 10 years. Customer service: 8 out of 10. Staff was friendly. Nothing over or above. FOOD: 1. Tom Kha soup with chicken: 9.5 out 10. cup/small - soup was hot even when I got home. Well packaged in the semi clear plastics. 2. Pad with chicken: 3.5 out of 10. The portion was a good-sized. The food/noodles itself was super dry. The amount of crushed peanuts added separately. I kept mixing it up to see if the juices were at the bottom. They were not. I tried a little of the Tom kha juice. Changed the flavor, so that didn't work. Added a little water. That tasted not good as well. I was disappointed that the main meal was not editable. 3. Sticky rice and mango: 5 out of 10. I've never gotten this where the coconut milk is in a cup, and I had to mix it in myself. The rice came in a baggy. The coconut milk should be mixed before they serve it. The mango was decent, and the portion was small. The mango was not as ripe or sweet as I would have preferred. Overall, for my $33.44 spent, the meal was not worth the cost. Perfect pairments with the peanut sauce & cucumbers, fried rice was really good, I normally eat EVERYTHING (you know, to get my money's worth) but I actually ended up taking some home because they gave me so much meat! Really, really good. Staff here is kind, friendly, brought everything out pretty fast. people eating here all seemed extra happy for some reason? Had a great meal at Thai BBQ today. My niece was raving about it, so my bestie and I went to check it out. Located in a strip mall, the place is neatly decorated, a bit small inside, but it was full of happy eaters, and that what you look for when trying a place out. We ordered the garlic chicken, Larb gai, and basil pork, along with mango and coconut rice for dessert. All the dishes were delicious. I think the spice scale was a bit off for me, as I ordered an 8 out of 10 on the basil pork, but still had to add dry chili flake to my dish to get it hot enough for my liking. They have the most yummy cream cheese wontons ever! I think they use real crab and not imitation. Egg rolls were good. Chicken Yellow Curry was so delicious and soft meat. Beef Panang meat was tender and full of flavor. First time trying this dessert called Mango Sweet Rice mango fresh and rice sweet. Mango was fresh just wasn't to satisfied on the dessert. My family and I have been here a few times before when it was just a few weeks open. The food was both savory and sweet with just the right textures of soft and with the right kind of bite to it. Fast forward 10 years later and my brother door dashes me a complete meal for my birthday. I dug in with excitement for the gesture. My family and I inhale the food not paying attention to where the order came from. It was so good! How did he find this place when he lives an hour and a half away! Fast forward six months later and I'm craving their delectable pad Thai that often pops into my memory. We come here often but this would be our last time here. From the start things were bad. No AC and a table next to us with loud children. I ordered an appetizer and two entrees. My husband received his meal before the appetizer. Then I was waiting for mine for a long time. When I checked with the waitress she informed me that they made a mistake and made my dish with beef instead of Tofu and that they will make a new one. After a long wait, my dish came out. It was Padsee awe. The noodles were bits and pieces and when I started eating I noticed that there was beef in the dish. I knew that they didn't make a new dish, instead, they removed the beef and served me the same dish that I sent back. I think they tried to remove the beef but couldn't remove all of it. I was so upset about the deception and the lack of respect for what I chose. To add insult to injury they tried explaining what happened with some crazy explanation and then charged me for the dish. Oh my gosh! I'm so happy to have found this place. As a native Angeleno, one of my favorite Thai restaurants is Original Thai BBQ in Cerritos. It was the most happy accident when I found out they're related!! I can tell with the quality and taste of the food which was just as delicious as I remembered. Came from out of town to Murietta Hot Springs for my birthday and wanted thai, this place came recommended. ambiance was okay could be improved with mood lighting but this was the worst customer service ever!!! My family and I ordered pad thai with a level 5 for spice and it was way too spicy and when we notified the waiter/manager she told us "Thats not my problem" every interaction with her after was very short they were accommodating enough too remake they food without any added spice. Now we're just a little concerned they might of spit in our food with how rude she was. Also boba has no flavor was not sweet at all. I already put a 5 star in a previous review, I just feel I need to mention how delicious this Thai food is. Tonight we ordered the Tom Kha Gai, medium spicy. It was the best and most delicious. Coming from San Francisco which has some great authentic Thai Restaurants, the soup was so balanced and savory! We also ordered three combination fried rice (my 15 year old's favorite). I reviewed this place eight years ago. It's so delicious I just ordered what they have on the menu as S6 couple days ago late Wednesday afternoon. It comes with grilled salmon, broccoli, carrots, and rice meal! It was so wonderful. I had to go back again today, Saturday at 4:45 and ordered the same exact grilled salmon meal. (S6).
