I ordered some takeout from here, and I was excited to try another place in the hope of finding great food... but alas, this wasn't the place for me. Three stars because the portions of food were large and the staff were really nice when i picked it up. But three stars for the flavors too. We had the pad see ew pork, the pad thai chicken, pork fried rice and yellow curry shrimp. The curry was tasty, and there were several shrimp, and i would've liked a few more tatos or veggies in it. Most unauthentic Thai food experience. Ordered a Pad Thai and got a salad instead. Never seen a pad Thai served with so much raw vegetables and sliced oranges. There was no flavor and it was inedible. On top of the bad food, the service was so slow when the restaurant was nearly empty. read more

Literally AMAZING I think the portions have changed maybe. I'm not sure but such comforting food that makes me feel warm and cozy. Could never go wrong with anything on the menu but everything is always cooked so well and seasoned to perfection while the servers are so quick to serve us in such a kind way. Was hangry for some good Thai so hot up this place! Wasn't too busy for a Sat and had nice ambiance inside. Started with Thai teas which were pretty good! We ordered a little of everything and shared. Crying Tiger: the steak was cooked so nice and I loved the sauce it come with. It was tender and had amazing flavor. It disappeared quickly and comes on a bed of salad which is great too of course. Pad Thai w/ shrimp: you can order other options of meat of course but with shrimp is my go to. They weren't over cooked. The pad Thai has great flavor and the noodles were perfectly cooked. I ordered it level 3 and it had good kick to it. If I ordered it again I would even try the two but 4 seems like it would be super strong lol. Comes with the typical ingredients Combo Fried rice: was cooked nice and pretty tasty. I ate more pad Thai and crying Tiger so I can't speak too much on the fried rice but what I did eat was great. For dessert we got the mango sticky rice and it was heavenly of course. Can't really go wrong with that. I'm always on the look out for great Thai places and this one hit the mark for sure. Great food, service, and overall experience. It feels a little more upscale than your typical hole in the wall Thai place. Next time I come I might even try the drinks. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! Don't waste your money at this place there is much better places. I ordered the fried rice and pad see-iew and it was DISGUSTING!!!! Rice have no taste because they use the white rice and just add vegetables and egg and mix it with out frying it all together for the taste so there's no taste whatsoever and the pad see iew was pretty much all vegetables and just a little bit of noddles. Thai ice tea taste like water since they put ton of ice even tho I asked NO ICE!!!! They used to be better but for some reason the quality is going downhill!!!! I waited for them to open and was at the door at 4 PM. I ordered my usual pad Thai and chicken sate and I waited for 20 more minutes. They could change the music, it's l80s jazz.:(. This restaurant has the worst customer service ever! They have so many rules and restrictions on the customers it's ridiculous. We are giving them our money, they should treat people better. I needed a To Go box because I knew I wouldn't be able to eat the whole dish, so I wanted to separate it before I touch the food, and the manager said to me that he is their policy that they cannot give it to go box until I am ready to leave. So I told her I needed to separate my food before I touch it, and she said in a very rude manner then I will just cancel your order! A different time I went there with my mom and we wanted to split the tie I see into because we didn't want too much sugar, and again the rude Manager or waitress said she could not give us another cup and we are not allowed to split our drinks! It's like a total communism or dictatorship in there! Do not go there unless you want to be disrespected. read more

Thai food is rarely the wrong choice. Thai Bite holds up to that statement. The food here is really great! The service is also quick and friendly. We came in half an hour before closing and we were given ample time to choose our food. The Ambiance is great too! Soft music is playing in the background and everything is very clean and inviting. We ordered the Pad Thai and the Lemon Chicken. We eat Pad Thai a lot, but for Lemon Chicken it was our first and we loved it! My wife and I took a last minute trip to Laguna Beach with our two year old and after some Gelato we ended up at Thai Bite for dinner! Beautiful end to an amazing day of travel. read more

Thai Bite is my Go-To Thai spot! Actually the Aliso Viejo location used to be our regular spot but we moved to Laguna Niguel and have been going to this location for 4+ years. Everything there is fresh, authentic and delicious. I love their Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Thai Fried Rice for the noodles and rice. Their yellow curry with tofu is amazing. If I'm feeling fancy, I'll get their Crying Tiger or Pad Ped Catfish. I also love their Tom Yum soup on a cold day. Their to-go is so efficient and fast. We came in for an early dinner on Saturday night when craving Thai food. The place was quiet and fairly empty, but the space felt very clean and relaxing, especially sitting in a spacious booth. The spring rolls appetizer was really delicious. The portions for the meals were great. I got the pad kee mao (drunken noodles) with mild spice- I was disappointed there were not more noodles, as they're my favorite part of the dish and that the vegetables were a bit undercooked so too crunchy for my liking- specifically the onions and bell peppers. I order food to go from here often. Generally, the food is good. I normally order the #2 Tom Kah-it's coconut chicken soup and I love it! This time I also ordered the #3 Poh Taek -a shrimp, scallop and calamari soup. The broth was good but the fish was over cooked. Especially the calamari it was rubber! Also if you like your Thai food hot and ask for extra chilli sauce check and make sure they give it to you. They are horrible at remembering. So now every time I check. I have to say it gets a little old having to check every time It would be wonderful if they would do the checking on their own. I like to order things and have the orders right. I have been here before and the service is always mediocre. There is one you girl that is very nice and she is the only person with good service skills. I ordered a soup over the phone when I arrived I asked for some chili paste the cashier said they don't provide that only chili in a package. I could not believe it. I asked for Manager (Daniel) he said he doesn't do that for anyone and he refused to give me chili paste the one they have with the seeds. Instead he preferred to give me a refund and took my soup. He said they only provide it at dine in, this is ridicules. I will never, ever go there again, I will drive miles to the next place but never this place. How rude!!!! read more

My best friend lives in Vegas and this is the #1 place she requests to visit every time she comes back to OC. The food is always top-tier and the service is good too. If you're looking for a Thai restaurant packed with flavor, you need to try out Thai Bite. In particular, the lunch special is a great deal and you get to try their soup, which is incredible. Went twice as Beyond Thai was closed when we were visiting and so, googled and found this place. We love the lunch specials. The portion is plentiful and if you ordered 3 lunch specials, they will provide the soup for the 3rd lunch special even though we are only party of 2 which I believe it should be like this. I went to eat here because I was visiting a friend in orange county, CA. I was hungry and couldn't find anywhere else to eat nearby that looked good except this place. Outside is a small parking lot and various other chains, there was fast food nearby but I can get that anywhere. Inside, the place is pretty big. The food quality was tasty, I ordered a lunch special crying tiger, which was beef marinated in chillies and spice. It included rice and a peanut butter salad with a small lemon soup. The food was salty but it was delicious. My friend got a curry coconut soup with chicken which included some Thai spices and chillies. It was also salty but warm and delightful. My crying tiger was $14, which I would say is a bit overpriced and overhyped. Alot of people said it was recommended, but the price was more than what it was worth especially given the quantity. The coconut curry was $13 and included the side dishes I previously mentioned. It too, was overpriced. The only con was the wait time. I waited about 45 minutes to receive these two entrees which is unheard of. The customer service was dry and I couldn't believe how annoyed the employee was when I ordered. Overall, it was decent, but I wouldn't recommend it as the price hike is climbing. read more

I needed to stop and leave this place a shout out. I really like this spot. The food is good. The service is absolutely top notch. The cherry on top is that you even carry good sake and beer. I really want to thank this place. The service at so many other restaurants in the area is lackluster and lethargic. Many other restaurants, right next to you, have servers who behave like it's their job to ignore you. But not here. At Thai Bite you will get a genuine greeting, shown to a table and have a drink in hand within minutes. And even hot excellent food a few minutes after that. This restaurant used to have amazing quality in their dishes. My go to dish here is always Pad Thai with tofu. Today when I took a bite of my Pad Thai I had the worst taste in my mouth.
