The Phoenix southwest industrial area used to be a food desert. Laveen for the longest time only had corporate fast food joints or a few dine-in places. With the southern portion of the 202, new places are springing up left and right. Thai Chili 2go is one of the many offsprings off Baseline and the 202. I had a hankering for some Thai food for lunch and did not have the time to go to my spot in central Phoenix. Looking on my Yelp APP for Thai selections in my area, I found TC2GO. I am glad my time restrains caused me to find a new place! For my first time I went with a safe option. I ordered veggie fried rice with fried tofu. It was AMAZING! Driving back to my desk was a test of my willpower of not pulling off the side of 202 and devouring this fried rice that had such an enticing aroma. Do not worry, I made it back to my desk. I walked past my office without any chit-chat as if I was a zombie and plopped down to eat this rice, OMG! I will make this a regular rotation for lunch when I'm in office. The beauty of TC2GO is that it is as its namesake, a to-go place. They have a small dining area and a small patio as well. If you're ordering in person, they have two kiosks to order from or you can do it online or via their APP. I gotta be honest, I was very perplexed by this method of ordering Thai food. Not in a sense of the technology, but rather not having a server sizing you up and you trying to justify the heat level you selected for your plate! :-) I smashed my fried rice before any thought of taking pics came to mind. First time we ordered 2go and it was so good and fresh. The staff definitely gave great customer service when in store and hooked it up with some seasoning recommendations. We ordered drunken noodles in 2different flavors, with and without Thai spice. Also had to get Thai teas and they were fresh and so refreshing. This location is absolutely beautiful and the managers and staff were very kind. I didn't realize I had came in 10 minutes before opening, but I believe the manager name Dayson reassured me that he can still take care of me. He was personable and had a great conversation with the next customer behind me. Absolutely awesome service! The food itself was the best I have had from Thai Chili. Sometimes it can be soggy or dry, but my bowl from this location was fresh and perfect! This location is a prime example of quality! First time at Thai Chili 2go. Got a flier in the mail, so we thought we would give it a go. It was a very small place with seating for 16. There was also seating for 24 outside. Not the best choice for Phoenix summers but okay for other times. Concrete floors, glass walls, high ceilings and Hip-hop playing. They offered kiosk ordering but since I was the only customer, the cashier took my order. The menu was very limited, hence the name of the place. I wanted Larb, but it wasn't offered. I got Yellow Curry Chicken, Beef Pad Thai and six dumplings for $44.50 to go. Our order came up in about 10 mins. After getting home in 12 mins, the curry was hot, rich and full of flavor. I had never seen quartered tomatoes in curry but they were fine. The dumplings were deep fried, sadly. I prefer pan steamed but they were okay. Not a lot of flavor though. The Pad Thai was good but overall the portions for all the dishes were small for the price. I might try Thai Chili 2go again but it was fairly forgettable. read more

This is beyond disappointing and unacceptable I'll never give my business to Thai Chili just based off of how this situation was handled! I've been anticipating this place for a while! Ordered online this past Friday evening. It quoted me 30 mins to pick up and was ready when I arrived. Service was quick and very friendly. There is some seating inside and outside of the restaurant. I ordered the pad Thai with chicken, one of my favorite dishes. It was super tasty and nice and hot! I asked for medium in spice and feel like it was an appropriate amount. Even my picky daughter ate it! I am so looking forward to trying other dishes here. The food was still hot and it tasted really good. Considering it was delivery, they still made sure everything was packaged nicely and put in the bag in a way so it wouldn't spill. On my way back home to California I was looking for a quick bite to eat. My maps showed there was a Castle Burger so I decided on that. I couldn't find it and figured it no longer existed. I saw Thai Chili 2go and honestly didn't have high expectations. Sophia was very welcoming and helped me navigate the menu as it was my first time. She suggested the prig pao flavor and I'm so glad she did. The flavor was perfect. It had the perfect balance of sweet and spice. The sauce that came along with the dumplings was really good too. My son and I were very pleased with our food. I had the pad siew and feel the noodle, vegetable and protein was the perfect ratio. What I loved especially was everything was mixed in the bowl and ready to eat - no need for me to mix it or eat all vegetables to get to my noodles. Overall a great experience and ate it all the way home. I'm sad there's no locations in CA. I'll be heading the road back to Tucson this weekend and I'll be sure to make another pit stop. read more

I've been here multiple times now in the short time they've been open...that's how good it is! The food is tasty and I like how the mild is truly not spicy (I can't handle any spice). I eat gluten free and I love how I can eat almost everything on the menu. The staff is knowledgeable about allergens. The service has always been quick and friendly. The serving sizes are huge and it usually ends up being 2-3 meals for me. There's a few tables to sit inside and a decent sized outdoor patio. Today I visited the new Thai Chili 2go in Laveen as it was their grand opening! When I arrived there was a line to the door, however I was still able to place my order within about 15 mins. As I was waiting in line an employee, I'm assuming the owner or GM was letting everyone know it would be about an hour wait for food. As a customer I really appreciated that communication. Ordered my food. Drunken noodles and 4 spring rolls. I was the only person there. A guy comes in orders. His food comes out. I wait another 20 mins for my springs. The nice girl keeps checking. They never cooked the spring rolls. She then says 3 mins for the rolls. I've now been waiting 25 mins. 3 cooks in the back. I got my money back. Got home to eat the food. Noodles were in oil ????? Their app Rewards system is terrible and so is their customer service. I tried to redeem with 1600 Rewards points an order for Pad Siew by hitting the redeem in store button on the app page which then deducted the 1600 points from my 2500 point Rewards balance. The app then gave instructions that I tell the counter staff person what I had ordered so that the order could be completed in the store. I requested from staff member John to complete my order. He said that he was unable to complete my order and that it could only be done online rather than in the store using the Rewards. I asked for a manager and told none was available and there might not be any tomorrow either. I asked for the name of a manager and John refused to provide a name or contact information. I then asked him for their corporate number and he refused to provide one, saying it was not allowed to be given out. John stated that the app was a 3rd party and that they had no responsibility over it. John was very rude and unhelpful with a very bad attitude. read more

The only time we had a minor issue, we brought it to the attention of the manager, and we were so impressed with the immediate attention and response.
