First time trying this order to go it was delicious. Only thing that would have given this place. Five stars was actual vegetables with the pho, all I got was bean, sprouts, jalapeño cilantro, and onions. It would've been nice to have some broccoli, some carrots, and bok choy like other places do. The tofu spring roll was delicious

    New spot!

Let's get one thing straight, folks: pho dac biet has tendon AND tripe in it. You need those. It's a texture thing- you need that buttery-soft tendon to go with the fatty brisket, and the chewy crunch of tripe to go with the bean sprouts and the rare steak. You don't have those, you don't get to call your bowl a "pho dac biet". Well... this place doesn't call it "pho dac biet", but they do pho dac biet better than nearly any other spot this side of the 101. Everything that I've had here has been fantastic, and their pho is honestly the best that I've had in our area. A big surprise was how good their beef curry was- it really has a big flavor that I wasn't expecting- almost like a Japanese curry and a Thai curry had a really pleasant baby together. I guess this place is brand new- we spoke with the manager yesterday and she said that they're only about a month old in replacing PT Pho. I really have high hopes for this spot, I hope they're able to get both good people to work for them and good customers to appreciate their food. We'll be stopping by more than a little, and probably Grubhubbin' from them as well. This isn't the absolute best Vietnamese food that you're going to find in Arizona, but for our little pocket of the west valley it certainly is.

We happened upon a charming restaurant situated right along the road just past the 17th Street traffic lights and a rather marvelous discovery it turned out to be. They even accommodate reservations, which is always a reassuring touch for a well-planned afternoon. Upon arrival, we were pleased to find a wonderfully convenient parking spot, which immediately set a relaxed tone. Stepping inside, the venue was beautifully lively and bustling with a wonderful crowd, yet it maintained a thoroughly nice, comfortable atmosphere. The staff welcomed us with immense warmth, and I found their level of hospitality to be entirely satisfactory. To commence the luncheon, I ordered a Thai Tea my very first and it was absolute perfection. They also offer a selection of desserts, which I shall certainly have to explore on a future visit. When it came to selecting my entrée, our waiter was exceedingly nice, explaining the menu with the utmost patience. Following his guidance, I chose the Wonton Noodle Soup with ribs. The kitchen's timing was impeccable; precisely fifteen minutes later, it was presented at our table. The dish was a absolute triumph the noodles paired with the rich, savory ribs were utterly exciting to the palate. This establishment has officially earned a very special place in my diary. Between the flawless service, the warm ambiance, and the superb cuisine, it was a thoroughly successful introduction. I shall most certainly be returning

After reviewing the menu we decided on Lemongrass chicken with vegetables, beef with vegetables, beef vermicelli, and shrimp vermicelli. Service is always fast here. I ordered the lemongrass chicken. It is pretty spicy. The flavoring was really nice with a fish sauce in it. It was probably spicier than I wanted. Think I'll go back to my noodle order next time. It was good to try something different though. I would give my dish four stars. Otherwise everything else gets five stars. Free street parking outside.

The restaurant seems to charge for every little thing and the staff is slow and forgetful. Having to get up so many times just to remind them about our order is simply not acceptable. I really hope things improve, especially for long time customers who have supported this place for years Ambience The ambience was very cute and charming. The space feels inviting and has a pleasant atmosphere. Food The food was good. We ordered the catfish spring rolls and they were delicious once everything finally made it to the table. Service The service was the biggest issue and it was very disappointing, especially since my family has been coming here for 3 years. Parts of our order were missing, including several side dishes and even the sauce for the spring rolls. We asked for a cup of ice and that was missing too. We waited about 10 minutes after receiving the catfish before the vegetables were brought out and we had to keep asking for simple items. It's a shame because things taste best when the food is still hot, but the catfish was already cold once they brought out all the small dishes that came with the main dish. Because the staff was moving so slowly, we ended up walking to the counter (6 times) just to follow up on things that should have been brought to us without asking. It honestly felt like we were serving ourselves. There should be no excuse why service was so slow because there's two waitress and only one other table. The Vietnamese coffee tasted sickly sweet and burnt. After taking one sip, I asked to switch to a Thai tea, hoping it would be better, but that drink was also extremely sickenly sweet. I returned it after one sip as well. I was surprised to see that I was charged for both drinks and was told it was because I drank them, which did not feel fair at all. They even charged us for the lemon slices.

10/10, nope 20/10! WOW!…read more I'm so absolutely thrilled by our family dinner at Rice Paper tonight I haven't stopped talking about it with family and friends! The food, flavor, service, cleanliness, and vibes were absolutely perfect!! Came on a Thursday evening, ordered plain pho and french fries for our 5&3YO both ate it up! While we looked at the menu, I couldn't decide what alcohol I wanted, spirit, beer, sake, wine, etc.. finally order sake bomb with Asahi and the bartender came over and let me sample one of the sours - just cause! I'm awesome! Thank you! Wish I had room to order! For dinner we did: - Filet Spring Roll - Chuck Norris Spring Roll - grandma Trans firecracker wings - Crispy Rice on sizzling plate with Filet My words cannot describe how amazingly delicious it all was. The spring rolls were equally filling, flavorful, refreshing, and savory! Flavor explosion! The firecracker wings drenched in the spicy sauce was so good, we kept dipping some of our kids fries in the sauce! Lastly the Crispy Rice dish with filet, WOW! A bite of that, with some broth on the side. I couldn't easily swear it's one of the most savory dishes I've had in AZ. What a hidden gem! On top of this, as a parent, it's always stressful eating outside of your own home with your kiddos, but the staff/owners were so accommodating, I felt comfortable and grateful! They were so nice and my 3Yo is wild, but they didn't make us feel bad and they continued to smile and even give him a high five as we left. The location is clean and vibey, and we were all comfortable the whole time. So glad this fam came FOB in 1981 and hope they continue to rock it because they deserve it! What a great location and so glad we went. Can't wait to go back.

The place is very clean inside, nicely decorated, and had background music playing (I hate places that are dead silent). A nice spot for me and my girlfriend to enjoy our lunch and talk over a bowl of pho. I was intrigued by the veggie pho because they used baby corn, shiitake mushrooms, tofu, and asparagus. I don't really like vegetable broth so I asked if the broth could be their beef broth which they said was ok. My girlfriend had the chicken pho like she usually does and we shared a spring roll. I have to say that I was blown away with how delicious my pho was. It had such a nice clean beef flavor that you love when enjoying pho. The vegetables worked incredibly, but I' sure any of their beef options are stellar (I just wanted veggies). No doubt one of the more memorable broths that's I've had in a long time! My girlfriend's pho was also super flavorful and had a nice aroma as well. She ended up eating all the broth and had a bunch of leftover noodles and chicken. I would really recommend not serving the chicken diced in cubes because you can't get those nice chopsticks full of noodles and chicken. The roll we ordered was good, but probably not something I'd get again. They use filet mignon for it, but I think I would prefer to have them use a less expensive cut and give me 2X the meat. Finally our server Enrique was cool and very attentive and let us know about their Sunday pho special which was great. This place might not be as traditional as the other places where you see the entire family working and have the beat up menus, but it's they definitely make pho worth checking out for yourself.

But somehow I had saved this one to my map so I came here with a couple friends for dinner last week. I wasn't super hungry, so I just ordered spring rolls, crispy chicken dumplings and a "dragon egg" boba tea "smoothie." Though it was on their menu under "Smoothies" it was not a smoothie at all. It was an icee. That said, it was still delicious and I loved the fresh and fruity boba balls. The flavor was more lychee than strawberry, but I didn't mind. My friends got an appetizer plate and 5-spice chicken. Both enjoyed their food very much. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere, but does have sit-down service. Very chill vibes, and prices were fair. The place was clean, staff was attentive, and the peanut sauce that came with my spring rolls wasn't spicy, which I appreciated! I wanted to just chill and take my time to eat, but the server never came back again for me to order another drink so I decided I should just get out then since they didn't want me there long it seemed let's start off with the food review tho my spring rolls tasted off like there was something a bit funky with them, as well as how to frozen texture on the inside and I was given the smallest amount of fish sauce I've ever seen every other place. I've been to is a huge amount or like a generous amount of that sauce dividend but I got like barely anything so I was like trying to scoop it at the end, but yeah, definitely funky tasting rolls. The pho itself consisted mostly of noodles and a decent amount of meat at least but with the combination, I felt like the tendon they just gave the biggest chunks possible, which were extremely hard to try to bite through unusual for me to come across I love tripe and tendon the most in the combos, the regular size is generously sized tho no need to pay extra for a larger size unless you're really hungry the flavor of the broth tasted good nothing special but it was a alright meal prob won't come back but I don't think it was entirely a waste of time

In fact, I'm pleasantly surprised by their growing menu and their willingness to better themselves by listening to Yelp feedback.
