I've been coming here since I was a kid and even though the restaurant hasn't been updated in over a decade, it gives off that nostalgic feel! The food is great and there is a variety of options. It's never super busy so it's great to come here during peak dinner hours. My parents have known the owners for such a long time and they are truly kind people. This looks like a hole-in-the-wall place but the food quality is surprisingly high at what appears to be a mom-and-pop operation. Their lunch specials turned out to be excellent, at least for my broccoli with chicken in oyster sauce that came with a delicious and somewhat fancy salad. What surprised me was that the entree was served at a proper temperature...hot! (as we were a big group this wasn't a given). So, the problem was the service...when we got there, no one served us / offered us any water like for ~7 minutes... strange. And we waited for a long time to get served even though we had reservations. Everyone in our large group had only good things to say about the food quality, however. I absolutely ordering take out from here for my wife and I. The food is very rich in flavor, my favorite item is the pineapple paradise curry with chicken and rice on side. My wife loves the Pad Thai, I wish I had photos of the food but I always end up finishing all the food before I could take a picture. The food is great at least the things that we tried were great. Their Thai tea was so good best one I've had yet. The food was more of a preference thing so only minor things I would change but overall really good. The portions are big and can be split among people or you can just save the rest as leftovers. The food was okay. Portions are definitely a lot less than what you would get from other thai restaurants In the San Gabriel valley. Chicken pad thai- there was not enough noodle. I felt like the dish was half chicken and bean sprouts. Flavor was a little bland because of all the bean sprouts. Pad see ew- Came with overcooked American broccoli. It was okay. Beef was dry. Tom yum soup- good flavor, but wasn't fond of the canned mushrooms. Sweet basil eggplant- this was okay.not enough eggplant and got lost in all the other vegetables. Pineapple fried rice was a little bland. Needed more salt. Ordering over the phone was easy and everything was packed neatly with good utensils. Not sure if I would try this place again. read more

This is the best Thai Food you can find in California. My family has been coming here at least once a month for several years; and I am very picky. I can't believe this is a Thai restaurant, it's obviously a Chinese restaurant. It's the first restaurant I visited once I had moved to Glendora. It's two blocks away from my home, I was trying to find a good neighborhood restaurant which I can visit often for the days I don't want cooking. The first I visited the worst I got. The room is dark and deserted, the boss was poke faced. We ordered Tom Yum which my wife would order it as long as we have Thai food. And, we also ordered Chow Miem (fried noodles) and fired rice. The Tom Yum was tasteless even not sour, the broth was turbid, I have to say this is the worst Tom Yum I ever had. I know Thai food very well, I used to visit Thai several times a year. I even never imaged Tom Yum can be awful. The fried rice was wierd with a fried egg on top, a broken over cooked fried egg on top. The fried rice was full of onion and a lot of green scallion on the top of the broken fried egg. What's going on? The fired noodles was even worse, still full of onion and green scallion and unpicked bean sprout. This time, it was long green scallion instead of chops. read more

I order a coconut soup with chicken because I'm allergic to shrimp, once I tasted the soup it tasted like shrimp.... I asked the server and he saids they add shrimp paste. Ordered: #15 Tom Kah soup w/ chicken & vegetables - $4.95 # 22 Chicken Larb Salad - $7.95 # 28 Ribs - $7.95 Thai Iced Teas #15 - The soup is more on the milky side and very flavorful. They definitely did not skimp on the chicken! Had a slight kick in it. #22 - Larb salad was good, not too sour with the lime and it came with lettuce and a few carrot pieces on the side. Mildly spicy. The chicken had a slight crisp to them. #28 - The ribs are always the one that gets me nervous. If the ribs are not good, then it's very likely we won't return (since it's my husband's favorite.. he judges Thai restaurants by their ribs). This dish took the longest time to come out, but definitely worth the wait! Got 4 huge ribs with MEAT on them! I dug my fork into one and the meat just slid off the bone. EXCELLENT! The hubby gave it a 4.5/5 stars. Interior needs a little upgrading, but hey I guess it adds to the charm?! lol Definitely not a "fancy" place. Service was good. I have been a customer here for years. I love Thai food and enjoy some of the dishes this restaurant makes. However, the prices have soared and the hours reduced. $17 for one entre plus rice is a bit much. I dont eat at traditional American hours, so their mid day closure, 8 PM closure and Sunday closure excludes me. read more

While living in Glendora for over 20 years had never tried this place as we just always drove right passed it. One day we decided to give it a go. Been going back at least once every several months for the past few years. We either dine in or order take out with the free delivery you can't go wrong! We particularly like the usual: Pad Thai with chicken Steamed or sometimes fried rice with chicken Chicken yellow curry Thai beef spicy salad - personally my fave! Orange chicken - the best!!!! Sometimes we will order egg rolls as an appetizer Wor wonton soup- very good and they are not tight on the variety of what's in there . Add some of their spicy Chile sauce and it's perfect for a cold night. We keep returning because of consistency and customer service. The whole family is Very attentive, and polite. You can just tell the minute you walk in how calm their demeanor is and it's easy to pick up from it. Friendly family environment. Clean restaurant, ample parking in back if none is available in front. We have never had an issue with ordering and getting something we didn't ask for or them messing up our order so this is one of the many reasons we keep going back! You will not be disappointed! This has sort of been my go-to Thai place for forever although I did cheat more than a couple of times with other places - BUT the fact is, I keep coming back to this one. It's my first choice when it comes to a couple of things: the bbq pork ribs (bursting with flavor and so tender) and the spicy beef salad (which I've tried in other places & this one still beats all of them). Aside from those two, other solid (but not exceptional) picks are the pad thai, pad see ew, tom yum, tom kha (although this one leans more sweet - I prefer mine more sour), and the spicy fried rice. I usually order delivery and this one takes around 30 minutes. If you want to eat in the restaurant, they have a lot of tables inside (usually never packed - I'm guessing most of their customers order delivery), and there's more parking in the back. read more
