It will likely come off as condescending but being from California and loving Thai I have had the opportunity to try so many Thai restaurants. As a result, I have come to find that many do not live up to my expectations. I doubted I would find this restaurant to be one that could compete with some of the amazing ones in California. I was wrong. The location, and by that I mean co-located with a gas station initially added to my initial concern and while I admit it's not ideal, they do a good job of making it feel cozy. The restaurant is owned and managed as husband and wife. I like to see that kind of cooperation, especially when you can tell they are both committed to great customer service and an exceptional dining experience. We were in a party of 5 and I was invited by a local friend who had nothing but great things to say. He warned me that they used all fresh ingredients and cooked everything from scratch which meant the wait could be a bit longer. I am willing to wait for great food so I was not too concerned. There were two other couples in the restaurant and from the time we ordered it only took 10 minutes for appetizers and maybe 20 minutes for the main dishes. For such fresh and authentic dishes the wait was no issue. We ordered Thai tea for drinks and as with most Thai restaurants it was sweet, but I love sweet. We had a 1 year old in tow and they had high chairs. As the meal came to a close we spoke at length with the owner. He acknowledged that during busy windows of time they at times have to turn away pickup orders as they focus on in-restaurant dining. For some they might find that unacceptable or offensive but quite honestly I find it refreshing. That approach is focused on making exceptional cuisine vice sacrificing quality for quantity. It's a rare and admirable trait that prioritizes making the customers experience an exceptional one. His wife Nancy is truly and artist in the kitchen. Her experience growing up in Thailand has imbued her with exceptional talent in sharing both culture and cuisine with their customers. The food is good unfortunately you need to reserve your food. You can't just show up there and sit down and eat at there hours of operation. It shouldn't be that complicated for me to get a tie meal. As a home cook and big foodie, I love spending my time searching for new spots to eat lunch...and I stumbled upon Thairiffic! Being a big fan of Asian cuisine and despising take out Chinese, I figured I would give this place a try. I am so glad that I did. I ordered the Pad Thai w/ Shrimp and the crispy spring rolls....to say they were delicious is an under statement! There really are no words to truly describe how amazing the food was. One small taste and you can tell that nothing is pre-made or frozen, all ingredients are fresh and treated with care and respect by the cook! I have tried most of the Thai restaurants in the Brodheadsville/Stroudsburg area and let me tell you none compare to this place. upon entering the restaurant I was promptly greeted by the owner, his friendly nature was warm and inviting. The dinning area while small was well lit and comfortable. It reminded me more of a family home environment rather than a business. I found a real gem today! I've been craving some good Thai food recently and yesterday I found this place. I love the name!! It's a little hard to find with all the road construction right now but worth it. It was lunchtime and I ordered some Shrimp Pad Thai to go. At first I thought it was a bit pricey, but I was starving. I ate my fill and realized I had only eaten about 1/4 of my order. Not pricey at all for 3-4 meals. I only had to wait about 10 minutes. While waiting I talked to the owner. A very nice guy who takes great pride of his place. Cute little dining room. A really warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our first time here, this place opened November of 2022. My husband and I split two entrees. Kuala Tiew Khua Kai which is roasted noodles with chicken and the Royal Chicken. It was my very first time entering this establishment for a meal and eating Thai food; and to say that the food here was the best food I've ever tasted in a very long time is an understatement. I had ordered the Drunken Noodles and my father had ordered the Pad Kra Pow-- absolutely DELICIOUS! The food here is a tiny bit expensive, however they really pile on your plate and give you your money's worth, as you can see in the photos below. A surprisingly good restaurant in the mountains. We were craving for something asian and stumbled upon this place with good ambience and excellent food. We tried a couple of the Thai fried rice dishes, Stir fry and coconut soup's. Portion sizes were huge and good authentic Thai food. Wow this restaurant is the real deal, holy field! My boyfriend and I tried it out today for take out because we were happy to see there was a Thai restaurant in the area. I got the Coconut soup with shrimp and it was soo good. For the entree I got the drunken noodles. Both were sooo flavorful and with plenty of spice. What a gem of a restaurant! My partner and I were going to a concert, just up the street, and had travelled all the way from the Catskill Mountains, and were famished. There were no good, healthy options, until I spotted Thairiffic, and decided to take a chance. Steve, greeted us, and his wife (her name is Nancy, I think), prepared delicious food for us in just a few minutes, and we still had time to spare for getting to the venue. Just so you know, the chef, Steve's wife, is originally from Thailand, and prepares authentic Thai cuisine, taking her time, with fresh ingredients...I wish them all the best in growing their business.
