Food is AMAZING. I love that there's an AYCE option for lunch and dinner. I came here for lunch ($22). It's a hidden gem in north GA. I got to try so many things! You can just order anything on the lunch menu and it's covered for one price. The downside is that it is FULL portions that you get so you better bring a friend to try more things. I came solo lol but this girl can eat. I got side hibachi steak ($10) Salmon sashimi ($5.50) Yellowtail sashimi ($5.50) Crab Rangoon - 4 pieces ($6) Chicken and shrimp pad Thai ($12?) The crab Rangoon was the BEST I've ever had. Crispiest light crunch and didn't taste greasy. Steak was JUICY. Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp was SO good and not too sweet. Tasted so authentic. The sushi kitchen was backed up a little due to a huge DoorDash order so they gave me a bigger portion than usual (which I did appreciate- even though I did want to try more options lol) I struggled to finish the pad Thai so I did take it Togo for a small fee. I've ordered take out from here before but decided to dine in this time. It was Saturday around 130 and it wasn't busy at all. We were immediately seated and asked for our drinks before even getting our purses off of our arms. I understand attentiveness but the waitress often made me feel rushed. Anyway, we placed an order for an appetizer and it took quite some time to come out. But it did come shortly before our entrees which we just ordered sushi. The sushi was great!!! This is a new place I've been wanting to try. Came here for dinner on a Sunday. Walking in they had some great drink specials. We were seated promptly. The salad dressing was amazing. For rolls, We got the Godfather (recommended by staff) and the Battlefield (without cream cheese). The kids had gyoza and hibachi. For drinks, I ordered one of their signature cocktails, pineapple mango mojito. Food was high quality and would definitely recommend those rolls. Hibachi was a huge portion. I loved my meal at Mango Sushi! As an avid sushi eater from out of town, I was excited to try this new spot during my trip. It did not disappoint! When you walk into the restaurant, you instantly appreciate the ambiance - the room is large and there's a ton of space between tables. Even though it gets a little loud when it's full, I really liked having the extra space. Additionally, the restaurant is SO CLEAN! Not a piece of dirt or dust in site, and the bathrooms were immaculate. Frankly, the cleanliness of a restaurant is such a critical way to gage their care to details. I would never eat sushi in a restaurant that wasn't spotless. This is also a family-run restaurant who lives in the community. Their kids are in a nearby college and help out. It's a wonderful family-friendly environment. If there's ever a time to support a local restaurant, THIS IS IT! The drink program here was great. I believe the bartender used to work at a fancy hotel in downtown Atlanta, and brought a lot of her most popular cocktails over here to Mango Sushi. The drinks are bright, flavorful and boozy with great balance. Now on to the food. We tried a ton of different things and I appreciated the small, tight menu - shows that they're really focusing more on quality than quantity. Our table shared everything, so I had a chance to try most on the menu. A few highlights: - Hibachi - their hibachi offerings are great - the steak and chicken were moist, tender and flavorful. The owners told me that they don't even have a freezer to ensure that all their food is cooked at peak freshness. So no defrosted meat over here. The hibachi came with a bunch of different sauces that are made in house. I suggest getting the ginger dressing and putting it on literally everything you have. It's bright and creamy while still being light and fresh. - Sushi - I first ordered some salmon and tuna nigiri - the fish tasted fresh and was well cut, placed on warm rice with just a bit of wasabi in between. Delicious bites. - The sushi rolls were creative and can cater to those who have never tried sushi (they even have fried chicken sushi!) or those who have been eating it forever. Try each one - some include some great crunch, or balance of flavors. So overall, I couldn't recommend trying out this place! Asked for Japanese beer....blind look but after asking for specific beer the server was like oh yeah we have one of those!? Asked for miso soup, NO MISO SOUP!! They had a clear soup which was actually the only good thing I had! Because it looked so scary in there at sushi bar, I opted for one roll that came with bento box. This roll was barbecue eel, hard to mess up but they did! The bento box was lack luster and had 6 tiny frozen shrimp on it. No flavor, no miso, no ambiance and sushi I wouldn't eat! first off it was FREEZING inside me and my wife had sweatshirts on and still very cold. we both got all you can eat but $43 per person definitely not worth it we got calamari and crab ragoons and they were barely warm and then I got hibachi again barely warm with hot some sushi rolls that were bland and not appetizing the soft crab roll was burnt crab. this was the most waste of money I've ever spent will not come back at all and would not recommend to anyone!!!! read more

I was so excited to try Mango sushi as it's the first restaurant to have fresh sushi in this area. My husband and I were finally able to make it out, and it did not disappoint! We started with the crab Rangoons which were absolutely delicious! Then, I got a California roll and he got the fiery crunch roll. They were both delicious in their own ways. The California roll was simple and fresh while the fiery crunch roll was more complex and tasted wonderful. They also have hibachi, but we will have to go back to try that (which we absolutely plan on doing). We didn't even have time to take photos of our food because we were too excited to eat. Wanted to try this new sushi place to avoid a trip to Chattanooga and it definitely didn't impress. Compared to other sushi I have had inland it was by far one of the worst I've had. The fish is quite chewy and the colors are not correct for fresh fish. The spicy crab roll was okay but it was subpar at its best. I'd say it's not even worth spending the money just to have sushi.
