Ok let's be honest, ok maybe not totally honest because I know the restaurant business is a tough business. But if this restaurant wants to survive they REALLY need to step up their game. First time and last time here. The quality of food is no better than what you'd get in a mall food court. Their menu choices were basic and uninspired, our food tasted re-heated, dry and un-fresh, appetizer was served with no sauces which it desperately needed. Nope, I'd never return. Inconsistent and questionable value. The entrees are priced in line with other Thai places in the area, but the quantity of food was far less. Also the listed menu price is only for vegetable or tofu. Any other protein is an upcharge of $1-$3. Typically, you'd see an upcharge for only seafood items. So at a glance, the menu prices seem normal for the area, but the upcharges and the quantity of food actually make it much more expensive. The first time we ordered the mango sticky rice, they knocked it out of the park. I make it a point to drive around OC trying out mango sticky rice to find the best ones. Thai Fix makes it with rich coconut cream and unique green super sticky rice was the best hands down. I was thinking ok I can stop driving around looking for the best, I just need to wait til summertime to order so they'll use fresh mango. The only drawback was the frozen mango was mushy and unappetizing. The second time we ordered it, the coconut cream was much more watery and runny, and the rice was way too wet and mushy. (Strangely enough, the jasmine rice that came with the entree this time was also too wet. Maybe the person who cooked rice today wasn't paying attention?). Entrees: I'm on the fence. Mango Sticky Rice: I could consider it a blessing that it's not a home run every time otherwise I'd be gaining a lot of weight in short order. read more

Tried out this place tonight, and it was amazing! So excited to have a great Thai place in Ladera. Ordered the cashew chicken, it was so so good, just the right amount of spice. You can request 1-10 on the spice level. The Shrimp pad Thai, tasted just like the kind we had in Thailand, it was perfect. While picking up my food, I noticed an order of cold spring rolls going out to a table, I asked if they could add it to my order and the said if course and made them for me in 5 minutes. I just received my order from doordash nice and hot and on time. I have been eating Thai food for over 35 years, decided to try this new place. BIG MISTAKE! I order the Tom kha soup. It tasted like milk with vinegar no coconut or lemongrass flavor at all it was so bland that I took the chicken out and only ate the chicken. I couldn't even palate it to soup. The peanut sauce for the satay was the worst I've ever had. Will never return to eat or order out again. Thank God I only ordered two things for myself. I will stick to my Diho off La Paz. read more

This place is honestly the best Thai place I have ever eaten at. Let's start with the food. I ordered Chicken Teriyaki and my mom ordered Spicy Chicken Pad Thai. We also ordered Spicy Garlic Edamame. All of the food was very flavorful and delicious. They also have a rating system of 1-10 to determine how spicy you want your food. When it comes to service, it was spectacular. The staff were very nice and our waitress always made sure our water glasses were full. Great price, great service, and amazing food! read more

If you want to have a relaxed, stress free meal for your money, DON'T go to this place. Where should I start? We waited an hour for the food after the order. And it wasn't just us. There were people sitting forever for the take out who were getting angrier and angrier. I asked for medium spicy and when I got the food it was burning hot spicy. It was probably the hottest thing i have ever eaten in a restaurant. On top of all this they screwed up the order. So while I was done with my hot food from hell with the help of 3 cups of coke, other people in our party were still waiting for their order. I didn't want to re-order my food less hot as getting my mouth burnt seem less painful then waiting for another hour. I don't think they have any idea how to cook or run a restaurant. To me they seem to be a bunch of people who woke up one morning and decided; hey, we don't seem to have any jobs, why don't we open a restaurant since people are stupid and separate them from their money. Its a rip off. I never say this but I hope this place improves or closes soon. read more

Came here right at 11 for lunch on a Wednesday. The service was great as we were the only ones in the restaurant. Our food was prompt. My friend ordered a spice level 4 and had to send it back because she could not eat it. They made a new one without any spice and she said it was good. I will be back for lunch again. read more

We had a Local Flavor coupon which we bought for $ 15.00 for $ 30.00 worth of food. We arrived at the restaurant about 5:00 pm and there were about 4 tables where people were eating at. We found a table in the rear of the restaurant. We informed the waitress we had a Local Flavor coupon and she said no problem, give it to me at the end. We ordered yellow curry chicken & yellow curry pork with noodles. Both dishes were ordered a 7 on the heat scale. Both dishes were good. The chicken was sliced thin with potatoes & carrots and white rice. Dinners were about $ 13.00 each and with tax, pretty much chewed up the coupon. We left a tip in cash. Overall, a very casual styled restaurant that was really good. We will be back. We already purchased another Local Flavor coupon for $ 15.00. read more

This place is not good. The portions are small and prices are high. The taste is bland and the kitchen is open which creates a really greasy smelling stir fry smell that permeates the entire restaurant which also causes the seating area to smoke up. Just an overall poor experience. read more

The California Curry is fantastic! This was my second time eating here. My first time trying this yellow curry. I loved it. Sweet and spicy, flavorful.
