What an amazing, much needed experience. I came here based on reviews and asked for someone a bunch of reviews mentioned, but they were unavailable. I was a walk in and didn't have time to wait. I instead got Saline, who was AMAZING. She truly listened to everything I told her, made her presence known throughout the massage but not too much, so I was able to fully relax. I cannot say enough good things about this massage. The space itself was cramped and no frills and some of the pressure is on fellow GUESTS to keep their voices down (please keep this in mind!) but it has everything. The space felt clean and cozy. I went for a 1.5 hour massage which felt like a splurge because it was longer than I normally do, but their prices were so reasonable and I had just come off a very long work week that it felt needed. The massage was so incredibly relaxing and left me in a little bit of pain in a good way. I knew Saline had found a lot of my deep knots, so there was no way for it to be without pain, but every fit of it was so worth it. It was so relaxing and I left feeling 100x better than when I came in. It was a little hard to find because it's on a small strip mall, but now that I know where it is I won't miss it. I've probably had the worst massage here in a long time. I've come in before and it was decent, but this most recent visit was uncomfortable to say the least. She was nice and elderly, but it felt like she was just rubbing oil on me and randomly squeezing and touching me. Honestly, i hoped it would get progressively better, but I felt like I was held hostage for an hour. I did mention more pressure, but it was followed by more of the same. There seems to be a lack of technique, rhythm, or intention throughout the service. It felt like her passively rubbing oil on me until the timer is up and ran out of ideas. Fair. I booked two massages on the morning of 4th of July for later that day at 3pm. Josephine answered with such a sweet and professional voice, and booked us right away. We specified we wanted deep tissue and two strong masseuse. We came at 3pm on the dot. Josephine invited us to freshen up in the restroom before leading us to our separate rooms. We didn't ask for one room together when booking but Josephine asked us if we were okay with being next to one another's rooms but not together and that was totally fine with us. My masseuse was Michelle and my man's masseuse was Nong. I already knew Nong was good from the most recent reviews here on Yelp. I will quite literally never go anywhere else ever again. Michelle was incredible. That was the best massage I have ever gotten. I play sports and do every kind of exercise: boxing, basketball, dance, yoga, and more. I need someone who is strong and isn't afraid to hurt me. I need the pressure because I am extremely stiff. Michelle walked on my back with the perfect amount of pressure. She used her elbows to focus in on the points that needed it most in my shoulders. I loved when she massaged my jaw!!! I have never experienced that in a massage and my jaw is where I experience the most tightness. I could go on and on about how great Michelle was but my favorite thing was that she was extremely communicative. When she walked in, she asked me where I needed the most attention and I expressed my neck and upper back. She delivered! Not just there but on every body part but she spent a great amount of time where I specified. Throughout the experience she checked in on me to make sure I was comfortable and that the pressure was what I liked. This meant a lot to me because sometimes I get shy to ask for my masseuse to go harder. At the end, she massaged tiger balm (or something similar) into my shoulders and upper back then stretched me out. There were so many highlights. I could have expanded on more but honestly, I'll just say go. And don't just book 60 minutes, go for 90. I did 90 and I may just do 120 minutes next time. Lastly, I just want to mention that I tipped them over 25% each. These ladies work so hard! I highly recommend showing them some love for their time and effort if you do come here. read more

My husband swears by Thai massages. For the longest time, he's been wanting to take me here. I got him to try a Thai massage closer to us just so he doesn't have to drive all the way out here for a massage, but he insists others aren't the same. My back had been achy and since we didn't have any other plans, we drove out to THAI FRIENDLY MESSAGE. I've always been hesitant to get a Thai massage because imagining all the bending and stretching involved made me nervous. But I can now say that my husband was right. I felt so relaxed after and my back didn't feel as tight! We called ahead to make an appointment, which might be a good idea since it's a very small that has maybe about 6 beds. Other than that, I can't really complain -- the place is clean, the ladies were friendly, and they have a private parking lot. I just wish it was closer to us. Worst massage I've gotten in years, she started off walking on my back without asking where I wanted to focus or if I had a preference. The walking was u comfortable and unpleasant following zero form or any technique. I asked her to stop in which she processed to rub oil on me. I came her for a massage for to be oiled up. I complained to the receptionist and told her I need a massage. She continued to just squeeze my whole body and apply random pressure again with no form or technique. Great massage at a great price. I did a 90 min deep tissue massage with hot stone and felt extremely relaxed after that. My masseuse was very patient in working out all my knots and really focused on all my problem areas. I left a huge tip and my masseuse was so grateful that tears welled up in her eyes. Okay so I've been to this place times now and feel confident about my review. I found this spot on Yelp on Mother's Day and it was one of the few massage places open late and it availability. The outside looks a little sketch. I brought my wife here a couple of weeks ago and she looked at me in disbelief when I pulled into the parking lot. Once you inside, it looks like any of the other budget Thai massage places in LA. It has the subtle music and it smells really good. So far I've had Thai massage every time I came and today I requested deep tissue and had Nong work on me. That woman is a miracle worker. She is a bit more chatty than any other therapist, but is so good! She used a combination of Swedish and deep tissue and, of course, with a Thai twist. As an literally twisting me sometimes. Of course some are better than the other - but my favorites include Nong (GOAT), Emmy (I don't know how to spell her name, sorry), and Josephine. They're all friendly and professional. You're gonna love it here. I recommend making an appointment before you go by calling them. The lady that guards the phone and front desk is so lovely as well. Gave Thai Friendly Massage a try because it's not too far from where I live and had great reviews. I did the 1 hour Swedish Massage ($60) and my masseuse was Nong - SHE. WAS. INCREDIBLE!!! She found every knot I had and went straight to work (also spoke great English & checked on me multiple times to make sure I was comfortable). I highly recommend her and this place! Pros: Price, Quality of Massage (Nong is fantastic!), Comfortable Tables, Friendly Staff, Free Parking (if the lot isn't full), & Clean. Cons: Exterior isn't the most aesthetically pleasing (in a strip mall), rooms are divided by thin walls and has a curtain for the entrance (private, but you can still hear everything happening around you), $2 charge for credit cards, and I would have preferred the headrest to be a little more padded (you can always ask for a towel if you want more padding). All in all, this is a great spot and I will definitely be back to see Nong again! read more

I wanted to get a quick massage after traveling for two weeks and sleeping in hotel beds. I didn't have a lot of time to research all of the massage parlors in the area so I choose one that was close and inexpensive. Thai Friendly Massage was about 10 minutes away and they were able to take us immediately. We opted to get the 60 minute massage and it was worth it. Nothing great or outstanding. I must say that the plus of being in a separate room from everyone else was great. Cleanliness: 8/10 Service: 7/10 Bathrooms: 7/10 Value: 6/10 Will I Return? Maybe not. I am so sorry I had to leave this review but it must be said. I was sexually assaulted on the table by one of the masseuses here named Amy. I am a female, the masseuse was also female. I ORIGINALLY came because of all the amazing reviews this place got and I had a previous massage here that was nothing short of incredible. I was so over the moon that I had finally found a place to help me unlock a lot of trauma and stiffness in my body caused by many years of physical and sexual violence as a child. I had Amy the first time as well, and she was so surgical with her talent I cried on the table (in a good way) and I knew I needed to be back to heal more. I came back a second time about two weeks later and asked for her. My second massage was okay, not nearly as intuitive as the first time, but still pretty decent. The first time she was incredibly attentive and listened to me, the second time it felt like she was just getting through the massage a bit fast, but okay. At the very end, she compulsively grabbed my breasts, both of them, several times and said "They are so little!!" and then proceeded to put her hands ON MY VAGINA to CUP IT and then she made a very out of pocket remark about it. I WAS FLOORED OH MY GOD I WAS SO HUMILIATED. I actually blocked that part out until later in the night when I got home. She left the room and came back and gave me a hug from behind, CUPPING BOTH MY BREASTS AGAIN --- FROM BEHIND. What?????????????????? Who does that??????? I did not know this lady!!!!!!!!!! I was so shocked I laughed nervously, I tried to put her repeatedly touching on my breasts and GRABBING THEM out of my mind as a "grandmothery" thing she does, but I couldn't help but feel extremely violated. I told my friend, who came with me in the second visit, and she was appalled. I called another friend and he was shocked to hear me even question if that was okay. I'm embarrassed now even writing this. I came back from lunch and asked to speak only to Amy outside, I used my Google Translator to express my concern with her and try, at the very least, to get an understanding (remember, I blocked out that she touched my vagina, as sexual assault victims tend to do in the moment, it's called dissociating); I told her I was SUPER uncomfortable and I would not be coming back. She searched my eyes to see if I was serious, and then started crying, asking if I was angry with her. I felt bad for her because she seemed like a nice old lady (again, a freeze and fawn response), but I held my stance and she begged me not to mention this to her boss. I tried, I really tried to not raise a fuss but MAN I had to realize how much I needed to heal from this. And past things. Keeping people's assault/abuses a secret is a very sad sore spot for me. Her asking me not to say anything was what raised the red flag up even higher than it already unfathomably was. I put 2+2 together and realized she did it to me so casually that I suspected she did that a lot. When I returned the next day I asked for a full refund and the girl who helped me confirmed that yes, she does it all the time to all the girls, pinch their breasts and their hips. I was shocked again. I told the girl at the counter that Amy put her hand on my private parts and commented on them, most likely curious about my anatomy, which --- idk what to say about that , but they promptly refunded me and I left, knowing I had to leave a review in case they allow this lady to keep working around peoples' bodies. It's just not okay. I was completely trusting of this moment and I felt so violated and humiliated. I hate it had to come to this but hopefully this establishment can make better choices in staff moving forward. We are living in times where people arent just getting massages to "feel good", we are collectively healing A LOT and they need to get the memo that the people walking through their doors are dealing with vulnerable challenges around the body and soul. I was assaulted in NYC at a spot once and this just makes me not even want to get massages anymore. read more
