New SPA ALERT South park. A SPA in south park l has been needed! . Linda was my massage therapist. She's very experienced in Chinese technique. It was fantastic! I got a lot of muscle, relief and relaxation. The staff is very nice. I met with a girl named Georgia and they are still getting up and running. There's some really good deals. I got a $10 off coupon for my next visit as well as they have a subscription if you pay 65 a month you get 10% off every treatment they have something called a seashell massage which I've never had you also can get a salt scrub with it. That's something. I'm really looking forward to doing their massage. Rooms are still basic. I think they could dim the lights more with some aromatherapy and a bit of sound cancellation but overall great experience. And a good price it was $85 for 60 minutes. I'm definitely gonna go back.

I HATE giving bad reviews to small businesses, especially ones in DTLA. Luxe Luminary Spa opened 1 month ago and has SO much potential to become a staple in the neighborhood. My experience last night was very questionable with significant improvements needed. I just want to start off by saying that staff is very friendly. They are Mandarin speakers so I was able to converse without issue. Luxe Luminary also uses high-end products like Dyson and Moroccan Oil from what I saw. I booked the 45-min scalp relief therapy via Vagaro and it sucks to say that I've never wanted 45-min to end faster. I've had scalp treatments and hair washes in Asia and LA so I know what to expect, and this was NOT it. There was no scalp analysis to see what I'm starting or ending with, or how to improve my scalp health. I put on a robe and sat in the fancy massage chair that didn't seem suitable as a hair wash station. It rotates and leans back into the wash bowl. My shoulders and neck hurt because it's not very comfortable after 10 mins. The service was extremely mediocre as the lady seemed very inexperienced in what she was doing. It was just mostly brushing, shampooing, and random massages around the head. Shampoo bottle fell into the wash bowl splashing water everywhere and comb was dropping on the floor. The temperature of the water was so hot that it was burning my scalp and I requested to lower the temperature. For whatever reason, it was always too hot or too cold, never a comfortable temperature. After the wash was done, the chair lifted me back up without my hair wrapped up, so all the water was dripping down the back of my neck. The chair also had a life of its own and was just rotating and leaning backwards with me on it. Lastly, I was not expecting a full-on blow dry at this point, but damn, my hair was not dried at all. Stepping off the chair, there was water all over the floor. I felt like a total mess and just wanted to go home at this point. See picture of what my hair looked like after leaving the place. It's so frizzy and unkempt..... This morning, my scalp still felt really sensitive from the burning water. I'm sad, but glad I also got free snacks, drinks, 10% off, and a complimentary sound speaker from Luxe Luminary lol.

First, we got a couple of soju slushies and ordered the fried dumplings. I have never liked dumplings, but these were THE BOMB! They came with a sweet chili sauce that really made it taste great. Then, we enjoyed the Himalayan salt room. Some people were talking too much which was annoying, but I understand it's a spa and people come with their friends and family to unwind. We enjoyed a few more sauna rooms before heading downstairs. Downstairs, there were two pools and 3-4 hot tubs. We ordered delicious mojitos at the pool bar and enjoyed the rest of our time. I cannot wait to come back. A day pass was only $40 to enjoy all the amenities. Although the drinks and food were extra, I was so glad to be able to order food and drinks at a spa.

ALL THE ONE STAR REVIEWS ARE VERY ACCURATE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY HERE!…read more The one thing that all the one star reviews have in common is that the therapist do not show up at the time or at all. This happened to me where I waited in the lobby for 20 minutes trying to get a hold of front desk (which they don't have). The staff at the hotel let me know that this happens often and there wasn't anything they could do. I gave up waiting and went back home. 3 hours past my originally appointment, they texted to reschedule. I rescheduled deep tissue massage the same day and confirmed with them the time. I go there for the second time and to your guess no one is there AGAIN. James was my massage therapist and I started to raise concerns of James qualification as a licensed massage therapist. I've had many massages and the way he undraped me was very inappropriate. It already made me feel uncomfortable. Not to mentioned, he left a bruise on my back the following day! My friends are massage therapist and they said the muscle he was working which is where the bruise is located- is a tender spot. You are NOT suppose apply a lot of pressure in that area. I also asked him to perform a different method because all of his moves were just the same repeated simple movements and he proceed to the same simple movements any average joe could have done. In another instance, he used all his body weight towards my body that was way too close to my bottom rib. I honestly think I was going to go home with broken ribs..I was really confused what kind of massage I was getting.. This isn't the WWE?! I didn't find the massage to have any technicality to it just the same o' movements. I was in touch with Eva, who seems to be the owner of Faris, and told her my experience at her spa. I mean the lack. of. customer. service. wow. She tried to argue that the bruise is not from the massage. Nothing was resolved in our conversation. I would NEVER recommend a spa like Frais.. not even to my enemies.. Save your time and money, folks. There are a lot more spas in DTLA and Ktown worth your while.

Keilor first took our reservation questions by phone and was so polite, patient, insightful, and clear with what we should expect and then we booked online with ease. His team welcomed us graciously and Claudia was very attentive during our relaxation/pre-treatment experience. I got an incredible facial from Tej who is French, so the European facial style that I was craving was beyond my expectations. I usually book Soho House Cowshed facials as a comparison but they're not in LA. My facial included a Hydrafacial element, collagen mask, (enhancement upgraded) LED light therapy, hot stone shoulder/neck massage, ice rollers, Gua for lymphatic draining, and overall was relaxing but effective for anti-aging/brightening. Originally I was anxious about the facial because I had a very nauseating morning migraine but I mentioned that to Tej and she did a scalp and head massage with pressure point activation and it magically went away! I was sooo appreciative, and truly can't wait to come back. If you're looking for a nice few hours with affective results, I highly recommend.

Absolute game changer for post-op recovery!…read more I visited Lymphatic Flow just 5 days post-op, and I cannot recommend them enough. I had the pleasure of working with both Rejane and Letty, and they are hands-down the best. Having experienced several different LDM therapists after them, I can confidently say that these two are my absolute favorites. From the start, the experience was seamless. They both greeted me warmly outside the salon and led me to their room (suite #7) which is incredibly whimsical, clean and relaxing; exactly the kind of environment you want to be in when you're healing. Their professionalism, knowledge, experience and certifications really shine through. Easy to talk to and personable too. I loved how collaborative they were; Rejane took notes in my chart so that when I saw Letty my next appt, she knew my exact surgical history and what areas needed focus. I was feeling anxious about my post-op swelling and lumps, but they completely reassured me, while also validating that my doctor had done a great job. They were so incredibly gentle and careful with me, even offering to help me take off and put back on my faja, which was not easy for me. I've had 5 total LDM therapists, and they were the only ones to offer the help so far. The results speak for themselves: I walked in wearing my faja on the loosest hook and left with it on the tightest hook. My swelling went down significantly, and this visit felt like the ultimate turning point in my recovery. My mobility improved immediately afterward. Since they work with a lot of post op clients, they even recommended me to size down on my faja, which I also appreciated. On top of the top-tier care, the logistics were flawless. Communication was great, and I appreciated the reminder texts the day before and the day of my appointment. The location is easy to find, parking is a breeze, and you can grab your parking validation stickers right from the vending machine inside the salon. I'm not local, but I bought the package, and was able to transfer it to my MIL for LDM to help with her lipedema. If you are looking for legitimate, skilled, and deeply caring post-op lymphatic specialists, Rejane and Letty at Lymphatic Flow is strongly recommended.
