Looking to get our filling of Thai food on a Friday night, my partner and I decided to give this place a shot and we were both extremely happy that we did! We ordered the Tom Kha and Pad Thai, both with tofu and a level 4 spice (out of 5). The spice level is very much true to tase, order whatever you usually order for spice and you should be good. The menu is also extremely vegetarian friendly, with most, if not all dishes, having tofu and vegetables as protein options. Now for me to start gushing about the food. The Tom Kha was absolutely wonderful and the star of the show for both of us. Every sip was jam packed full of flavor and the broth had the perfect balance of lime and coconut. The tofu sadly didn't add a ton to the dish but I still enjoyed every bite featuring it regardless! I really wish they had larger serving sizes available for sharing or even just as an entree. The Pad Thai was also wonderful with not a single dull bite to be tasted. The flavor was delicious and very well balanced, with the eggs especially being a highlight of every bite they were a part of. Similar to the Tom Kha, the tofu was just fine. I would recommend ordering it with vegetables unless you're looking to get your protein fix for the day. Overall this place was a genuine delight and I am extremely excited to visit it again in the future to both enjoy more of their amazing Tom Kha and to try their curries! read more

The reviews don't lie.. this place is so good. It's very small and there's only a few tables inside, but I don't like takeout especially when trying a new place. The service was a little slow, but our server did have a few other tables besides ours. Great customer service! Authentic Thai food is difficult for me to find. I'm half Thai so my expectations are quite high. The owners are very friendly and appreciative of their customers! They also go above and beyond to make sure the food is good and your satisfaction matters. This is a small restaurant in a shopping center. It's also BYOB. Service is great and the wait time isn't long at all. You'll have to try. Ask for the Thai menu because; they have two menus to choose from. read more

Loved this little spot for a fun lunch! Ordered a bunch of things to sample. Prices were pretty good and quality was nice! Love going to smaller more family owned places so I would suggest going here for a nice change of pace! The customer service was nice , very sweet. As far as the food it was sooooo yummy!! For how cheap it was it definitely comes with a lot of sushi for one roll, way more than expected. The food was really good and the service was excellent. They just opened 8 weeks ago. We stumbled on this place while we were in the area. It is on FM 1960 and Walter's Rd across from Walmart and next to Sun Club. We ordered the Banging Shrimp for starters and it was delicious. The batter was different and crunchy. For the entrees, we had Pad Thai, Garlic Chicken, and the special which was fried Tilapia with Panang curry. For dessert, we had sticky rice with mango. The portions were generous and they were all very tasty. Highly recommend if you're craving Thai food. They also have sushi but we didn't order this time. We'll have to try it next time. read more

Cozy place with outstanding food and service. They accommodated our request to use a special plate for Keira. We did not ask for the food to be served on the plate. Just that we use our own shark themed plate at the table. Food was excellent. We had Thai curry and 4 sushi rolls. All were excellent. Also enjoyed the Thai tea. Service was quick and friendly. My 3rd time here. Family business that I will support. I've eaten the curry dishes before and they were great. This time I tried pad eeu and didn't enjoy as well. My daughter ordered the drunken noodles with chicken and it was great. We also tried the gyozas and they were great too. We stumbled upon this restaurant because the original restaurant we actually went to was closed and this happened to be across the street and the exact cuisine we were craving too. So happy we (4 of us) did because it's a hidden gem for anyone that wants to cure both Thai and Sushi cravings. This place is relatively new and close to home but this was my first time there. I went because my friend is half Asian and she was tired of Mexican food. (We eat out a lot). They had something I hadn't seen before: pineapple fried rice. It was very good. Sadly, the tofu dish I got was a disappointment. When will I learn that very few people or eateries can fix tofu well? It's no wonder so many people badmouth tofu and refuse to try it. I wish I had written down what my friend had, it was some kind of noodles and very good. Portions were huge and we both took home big amounts. I admit being surprised that the server brought us boxes and had us box up our own leftovers, I guess I was spoiled by fancier places that do it for you. OMG! Why does this place not have more top notch reviews? After the depression of Thai Gourmet closing (best Thai in the US!), it was Street to Kitchen that became the thai go-to place in the Greater Houston area. S2K is very good, but for those who live on the north side of the city, it's not an easy drive - not to mention, they are on the pricier side, with rather small portions. Thai Garlic is run by a Thai couple, and the husband was a sushi chef for 10 years in Florida - where it isn't unusual for a Thai restaurant to also serve sushi. That, obviously is an odd combo in the Houston market - for rather obvious reasons. Anyways, getting back to the Thai food - this place is amazing! I would go so far as to state that it's the best Thai food I've had on the north side of Houston. I can only hope they survive given their location and the fact that many other restaurants/eateries have struggled in that area. When we first walked in, the waiter (son of the owner) was playing "Gangsta Rap Music", so it was cursing, the N* Word, and just B*tches and H0es. He turned it off when we came in. So, that was the 1st strike. We do not like that kind of music, nor those words that are used in music like that. It does not belong in a public place, let alone a restaurant. We ordered our food, and I ordered the chicken and shrimp Pai Thai. The food came, and it hardly had any shrimp in it. Most of it was chicken and no shrimp. But they charged extra for the shrimp. The portions were small, and did not even cover the plate. If you are looking for a full meal, then this is not the place. Not enough food to fill you up. read more
