    Tom Yum soup (small)
    Keriyana C.

I live near this restaurant. In this plaza there are 2 Thai restaurants. So competition is stiff. As we walked in there was a lady who unfortunately did not seem happy. She didn't really direct us where to sit so we stood for a min and she then told us to pick a spot. So we did. She then brings us the menus and gets our drink orders. It was a bit slow, keep in mind this was a Monday during lunch time. It wasn't very busy. Service was a bit slow. The lady didn't seem happy. Like I know not everybody has good days but attitude makes a difference in the demeanor of the restaurant. So smiling makes others feel welcomed. For the food we ordered: Larb is good. Great flavor and spicy. Great tang. A bit gritty. The spicy wasn't VERY spicy. Pad Thai was good but basic. A little soft and mushy. It had a decent flavor and wasn't anything memorable. Tom Yum soup was lacking. Flavor felt watered down. Needed more fish sauce FOR SURE. We ordered a small which I didn't anticipate it to be that small for $8.95. So for $4 more you get a large which comes in the hot pots. Presentation was pretty and classic. Garnishes were used accordingly. Thai iced tea was large which was fair for the price. They have a great lunch special fairly priced high for just a dish, salad and rice $10.95 Service was the unfortunate part of this rating. We were afraid to ask for anything. We waited til half our meal for bowls and a spoon for our soup. We waited til the end our meal to get her attention for the green Chili's we wanted from the beginning. We weren't offered refills unless we asked for it and she didn't check on us. It seemed like she was the only one there serving which I understand. However it was not THAT busy and she could of been more friendly. Unfortunately it didn't make it a positive and memorable experience. I prefer the other Thai place in the back of the plaza.

    Tom Yum Soup with chicken.

Been sick and have been craving chicken Tom Yum Soup. So I ordered that for pick up and Thai fried rice. My gripe is with the soup. It was literally just chunks of white meat chicken in broth with a few mushrooms floating around and a couple pieces of cilantro. The broth tasted like chicken broth with a little chili sauce and a ton lime juice. Everything else was flavorless. No spice to it. Just a lot of lime flavor. I've attached a picture. The Thai fried rice wasn't bad.

Time & Date: 3:30pm, Saturday 03/20/21 Purchase by: Called to order for pickup Items: pad se ew, pad thai, spicy eggplant I called the restaurant at around 3:15pm to place an order -- the lady on the other end was very nice. She asked me if this was my first time coming to the restaurant (it was) and described the location of the restaurant to me because there are 2 thai restaurants within that plaza. Pickup was smooth & packed nicely -- also included were packets of chili sauce & jalapeño vinegar. The food itself was probably the best thai food I've ever had. The flavors were smoky, extremely flavorful, and with the right amount of seasoning. Of the 3 dishes I ordered, my favorite was the spicy eggplant -- it was seasoned so well, had a good amount of smoke to it, and wasn't too mushy. The basil also added a good fragrance to it. 10/10 recommend this spot!

The food was terrible. Potatoes are not fully cooked. Meats are all dried out. One of the worst Thai restaurant that I had ever experienced.

Once again, the meat was deliciously tender, not a chewy piece in the mix. The curry had the right viscosity, not overdone creaminess, smooth and silky texture, infused with a simple yet impressive marriage of heat and spices. Service here, like the food, has been consistent, dependable and impressive.

Tonight we had the Beef Salad, Red Curry with Pumpkin - Chicken, the Mongolian Thai Style - Pork, and Thai Iced Tea. The Beef Salad is amazing. The beef is plentiful and the dressing is perfect. The salad is a perfect start to a hot day's evening meal or for a complete lunch as the salad is plenty for two as a starter. The Red Curry with Pumpkin - Chicken is a nice offering. The pumpkin really makes the dish which has a very mild spice to it. The bowl is big enough for two to share. The Mongolian Thai Style - Pork was nicely prepared, but for me, the white onions were a bit over powering for my taste today. I do believe the dish was prepared per the menu and I thought I'd give it a try, but this one is just not for me. The Thai Ice Tea is perfect and not overly sweet like found at many Thai places. Service was Outstanding from walking in the door until walking out after our meal. It is really rare to find such attentative service these days, so the owners must be proud of their team. Prices are very reasonable for the food quality, portions, and perfect service.

When I came to enter my review, I see that we did take-out from here last year. Gave them another try, and still find the Pad See Ew under-sauced and under-flavored. I added some coconut aminos (less sodium than soy sauce) to the dish, and that helped some. But the lack of tangy sauciness that I hoped for was a disappointment again. This time they were generous with the chicken and the green veggies, and I appreciate that. The portion size is also good. I will get two meals out of one to-go serving. I wish that I felt up to cooking and experimenting with a recipe for a Thai-inspired Pad See Ew sauce. I would use that to wake up the taste when I have the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The inclusion of a small container of chopped peanuts made for a suitably tasty and crunchy topping for the dish. DH said, "I thought you didn't like peanuts." I like peanuts just fine; I just find peanut sauce too much at times. The crushed peanuts work well as compliment to this dish.
