This is the second time we've eaten here within 4 days, even though it's about a 30 minute drive from us. The food is outstanding! First night we had the chicken satay app and each had chicken panang curry. This is our "baseline dish" by which we judge Thai food. The satay sauce was the best I've had and I swear I was ready to just spoon it into my mouth! We enjoyed a 1/2 price cocktail mai tai which was fresh and not overly strong or weak. The chicken panang was in some of the richest and most flavorful sauce I've had anywhere. We could alter the spice level but even the "kinda mild" that I ordered was just the hint of heat--perfect! Both dishes were generously portioned and lighter eaters could easily share. Second visit we opted for pho noodle soup on this unusually cold Myrtle Beach day! The server recommended the beef stew pho with the slow roasted beef (yeah twist my arm) and my hubby got the chicken which featured dark meat--a whole drumstick and other off the bone choices. There was so much roast beef and noodles! Again, even healthy appetites could've shared! The broth was everything pho is supposed to be, noodley, salty, hot, and chock full of green onions and sprouts! The flavor!!! My husband asked how my dish was and I described it as a warm hug in a bowl. The requisite plate of Thai basil, lime wedges and more sprouts as well as a sideboard of spicy add-ins were brought to the table. Enjoyed a 1/2 price pinot noir, the drink specials seem to change daily. Having moved from Northern Virginia and the convenience of a robust SE Asian population and food scene, we are blown away by Thai in Town--a treasure in North Myrtle! Go there. Eat much! read more

Probably the best food we had in Myrtle Beach! They took great care of our large group and we were able to book last minute. I tried: + Thai iced tea + Calamari + Zabb wings + Spring rolls + Kao soy chicken + Pork larb + Pineapple fried rice Zabb wings were the top highlight, followed by the kao soy chicken and pineapple fried rice. A popular Thai spot in the area near the beach, I had gotten take-out Tofu Pad See Ew for the medium spicy level, and it was delicious! The portion size is decent, along with an accurate spice level. A friend of mine had a dish with chicken, and had said it was an odd texture. So, just a heads up if you order a chicken dish. read more

I was so excited to try this place. We love Thai food and the reviews seemed great. We were seated right away and our server seemed super sweet and brought water out right away. A few minutes later she came back and took our order. Tom Ka soup, Pad Thai and Red Curry. Then we waited - our server never came back to check in with us although she was serving the table next to us. I finally flagged her down to ask about our soup. She said it would be out in a few minutes. 15 minutes later, for a total of 55 minutes - it finally arrived. Then our next 2 items were served 45 minutes after that. The soup was okay but it was salty and had a lot of woody stem (that I had to spit out). The Pad Thai didn't taste quite right. The red curry was pretty good. Bottom line - we won't be back. There are too many great Thai options in the area where the food is better and the service much faster. read more

Don't be fooled by the strip mall location and lackluster signage out front, this place is legit! We stopped here for a quick lunch, and we're so happy to find the food fresh and delicious. Our boys said the Thai tea was the best they had ever had, and we're in huge to go cups. The boys both ate curry - one chicken yellow curry, one beef red curry. My husband and I both got fried rice - mine pineapple - which was perfectly seasoned and prepared. They seem to do quite a bit of take-out service. We sat down, ordered our appetizers and meal at the same time. Appetizers came out in about 10 minutes. About five or six other tables were seated after us. Their dinner orders kept coming out ours did not. At around 45 minutes past eating our appetizers I asked our server where our meals were. The waitress said that they were very busy today and that there are two people ahead of us. I also saw about 10 to go orders that were produced during this time. I'm not talking about one or two dishes I'm talking about 5 to 10 to go Boxes at a time. I think that they simply forgot to put our dinner order in and didn't own up to it. We waited in an hour and 10 minutes to get our dinner. It's absolutely ridiculous to wait that long for a bowl of soup and some noodles. Also, I think that it's not really fair that they kept filling the to go orders when their customers are sitting in their brick and mortar. Customers in-house should come first. So glad to have found this place because it's tasty, affordable, and very close by! I got the lunch special for $11.99. Impicked pad Thai with tofu and it comes with a spring roll and dipping sauce. I was happy with the portion for that price. There was a lot of tofu as well and the sauce was sweet and just how I like it. The staff was extremely friendly. This is a cute spot in a strip plaza. Been eating Thai food for a long time, this by far has been one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever ate at. We order the Chicken wing zap, Pad Thai with shrimp and Duck Curry and let me tell it was so delicious and well seasoned. This is a must try restaurant. Their food is good but when you order takeout it's just not worth the wait. They will tell you 1/2 hour but your food comes out at least 15 minutes later. So I figured I'll just get there 15 minutes later instead of sitting there getting frustrated. Well that doesn't work either you still have to wait 15-20 minutes after you arrive. This time my wait in their restaurant was over 1/2 hour after I arrived which 15 minutes after they originally said it would be ready. I asked the waitress when my order was coming out and she said 5 more minutes. I picked up my signed credit card receipt and told her I'd give her 7 minutes then I'm leaving with my receipt. She then asked me if I wanted to cancel my order. I said no but I'm in 7 minutes either with my food which is my preference or with my receipt. So she said she needed to cancel the order. On my way out I stopped by two tables and asked how long it took to get their food after they ordered, both said 15-20 minutes. We enjoyed two delicious lunch specials: chicken pad Thai and pork, basil rice. Both dishes even came with spring rolls. The portions were very generous. I had the Basil Thai rice along with the red chicken curry. The Basil rice was different than I am used to, but still pretty good. With that being said, if I were to return, I wouldn't order that again. The red curry was VERY good though. I have been craving it and would definitely recommend this. If you want it Spicy, emphasize it. Mine wasn't too spicy. My sister ordered the beef salad. We really didn't know what to expect but she really liked it. It was served hot. The homemade sweet dipping sauce was delicious. Yes, the entire meal and service was exquisite. A warning, spice level is rated between 1 and 5. I ordered my Larb salad at a level 3. It was delicious, but any spicier and it would have been inedible for me, and I like things Hot. I was also excited that they had larb! Located in a small strip mall with the Dunkin. (Free parking spots out front.) When I went it was early in the evening on a weekday and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Most people go to the beach for Seafood, but if you are a lover of Thai food like my wife and I, you need to check this place out. The food and service were excellent with a relaxing atmosphere. We got the Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried rice. If you like your Pad Thai sweet, then order it as is. Otherwise, would recommend you order it to be spicy if you like a bit of a kick. Pineapple Fried rice was amazing and had the perfect amount of basil to add some dimension. Gyoza was cooked to perfection and the spring rolls were fantastic. Place was super good. I was sad to see it so empty inside because it's very spacious and I like the decor. I was happy to know they were really busy with to go orders though. Server was very nice and knowledgeable. We asked if they make khao soi but that is a northern Thai dish. Whenever I can't get that I go for the panang. It was AMAZING! My man got the drunken noodle. We visited on a weekday afternoon. We both love Thai food and eat it often, so we have a good knowledge the cuisine. Walked in and the place was entirely empty, not one diner in the place (should have been a clue). I ordered the Drunken Noodles and wife had the Pad Thai. Entrees came with a spring roll but not soup. The Drunken Noodles were some of the worst I can remember having, noodles were overcooked, meat was fatty with quite a bid of gristle, and there was hardly any vegetables in the dish. It was also cooked in a very dark brown sauce, which I had not experienced before. Wife said the Pad Thai was just OK. Both entree portions were fairly small, around half the size of many places we frequent. Sometimes we wonder about all the glowing reviews of some places we visit, and are curious if they are all legitimate. Needless to say we have crossed this place off our list. read more
