Don't know if too many Thai places in Pasadena. And this place also delivers. Once we sat down, we were given our menus and our orders were taken immediately. As soon as our menus got picked up, we each got some type of complimentary soup. It was delicious! I will admit I'm not a picky person. But the soup was well seasoned and also had a nice spicy kick! It had bits of tofu and some type of meat. Reminded me a little bit of hot and sour soup flavor. While the complimentary soup was great, it would have been nice to have been asked if we wanted it or told what it was beforehand because my friend was only looking for vegetarian options and wasn't able to enjoy her soup. Then her vegetarian egg rolls came out which she enjoyed. Also the sweet chili wings came out. Those were quite delicious. Good flavor. I got the garlic chicken with rice. It was very well seasoned. Had chili peppers however the dish didn't seem spicy. And this brings me to their spicy scale. When you order they ask you how spicy you want it. So on a scale of 1-5 we wanted 5. But none of our dishes were spicy. So we used the chili oil on the table. But then we noticed our food still wasn't spicy. So I was brave and poured a little oil on my spoon and it had no spice level at all. So maybe it wasn't chili oil! So we added the other chili sauce that we were familiar with and it was fine. The portion of the entree was large and I was able to take home more than half (after eating two soups and three wings) It took a little while for us to get the check. Mostly because we are supposed to go to the register and pay! We didn't know lol. The staff was eating lunch at the time as well because we went at about 3-4pm. They have to eat at some point and I'm totally ok with that. We were too stuffed for dessert but they seem to have mango and sticky rice along with other unique desserts as well as regular key lime pie, cheesecake and whatnot. Great food and cheap too! My favorite is the green curry. The Pad Thai is very good for those not keen on Thai, there are a few Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. Sometimes they close during their open hours (M-F 11am-9pm) with no message on their phone or sign posted anywhere. This has happened to me a multiple times. I love their food, & they're so nice. Second time trying this place. It's not bad but not the best either. Ordered the Thai fried rice for the kids and they enjoyed it. Had the garlic chicken with level 5 spicy. It was not spicy at all. Flavor was good. Also had the deep fried fish which was bland even with their level 5 sauce. Very small fillet of the fish. Each entree came with a cup of soup which was so very tasty. Not sure exactly what kind of soup it was, but it was loaded with veggies and a little tofu. Everything was excellent. I didn't eat it and put it on the end of the table. Employees saw it sitting there and me not eating the meal but no one came up to ask if I wanted something else or if it was okay. They told us they were open, so we drove 20 minutes to get there, but when we got there they said they decided to close early. Saw this little place on the way home one day when I was tired and decided to pop in hoping they had wonton soup since I didn't feel too well. Not only were they very accommodating and polite towards me and my service dog Merlin, but they had the BEST wonton soup I'd ever tasted.
