Quick lunch in the neighborhood. Overall, satisfactory. Dishes were slightly on the oily side, especially the chicken satay and eggplant dish. Nothing extraordinary to make a detour. But good enough and as expected in the area. Service was friendly and quick. Served quite promptly. Easy parking. Good for one or two people or big groups of 10.

They have the crispiest orange chicken I've ever tried! The noodles in the pad sew ew were the perfect size and not too mushy . They give you so much meat with your meal it is worth the price! The service was great, our waitress was fast and staff was always available. The mango sticky rice was also great, the mangos were perfectly ripe and the rice was still warm! The whole place was also very clean

Salad and eggroll with lunch special

Love this place just dont get here enough. Got a lunch special this visit, Prit King Chicken. These are priced very well. Cant get that dish everywhere. It was delicious, flavorful and the level 6 spice was perfect! Opted for salad over soup cuz their peanut sauce is the BOMB! Had their shrimp fresh rolls to start as I do every visit. They are fantastic - packed, fresh, flavorful! Service is always prompt, friendly. Place is clean and nicely decorated- not usual kitche and tastefully done. Parking can be a challenge so be patient but otherwise definitely worth a visit or more!

Interior of restaurant is so clean and nice here. Was greeted instantly upon entry and seated asap. The ladies who work here are amazing, always checked up on me and asked if we needed anything else. Tom yum soup had so much flavor, the pad see ew noodles were great. Their spice level will be from 1-10, we got 2. It wasn't too spicy at all for us which we enjoyed. Portions were perfect for 2 people. Mango sticky rice is a must when going to a Thai restaurant. It was sweet and very much needed after the entree.

Food: 3.5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Food- Wide selection of dishes, with very differing qualities of taste. Here's my thoughts on each dish we ordered: 1. Roti- Tasted good, and the curry served with it was light yet flavorful, but the Roti was NOT Roti, being deep fried for way too long, resulting in a crispy almost fall apart texture that still tasted good, but didn't satisfy the craving for Roti 2. Chicken Wings- Enjoyable, but felt too salty to eat any more than two pieces per person. 3. Pad Thai- Really saucy for a pad Thai and leaned way too hard on fish sauce for the flavor, resulting in a smell that was strong and not reminiscent of what pad Thai should smell like. 4. Avocado Curry- Solid dish with great depth of flavor, could've had more beef though 5. Shrimp Fried Rice- Standout of the night. Great flavor that is unlike any other rice that I've had before. 6. Khao Soi- Really enjoyed this one too! The fried noodles taste almost pretzel-like to me, and the overall balance of flavors were great. 7. Mango Sticky Rice- A little bit pricy, but was incredibly refreshing and flavorful. There were quite a few misses this time around, with the appetizers we ordered and the Pad Thai either being middle-of-the-road or lower, but the fried rice, Khao Soi, Avocado Curry, and Mango Sticky Rice being great. Service/Ambiance- Great! No complaints on this visit. The interior still feels modern and casual, and our waitress was very kind to us whenever taking our orders. I do miss the old establishment that was here (Thai Cottage) but Eat Thai still serves up a good experience that encapsulates the staples of Thai food with some nice surprises.

Eat Thai is one of my favorite spots in Webster, it is truly a hidden gem. They always have exceptional service and the servers are always super friendly. I highly recommend trying out their iced Thai tea when stopping by it is one of the best I have ever had in this area. You can just tell the love and effort they have put into this place and their food. Also the restaurant itself is super cute and very very nice. I love this place. I would recommend it to anyone looking for some good food

Not impressed with their pineapple shrimp fried rice or their pad thai. Unfortunately it was pretty bland tasting.

Enjoyed this Thai place. They offered some Gluten free options. Small but very friendly and well established.

The cookie was baked to soft perfection. I went with a friend who thankfully knew to join the waitlist about an hour before we planned to arrive, which made the wait very manageable. Had we not known that important little tip, we probably would've been waiting close to an hour. Overall, it was such a pleasant experience, and I'd definitely go back again.

Let me preface this review by stating that I have been to this establishment multiple times & had…read moreglowing, amazing service each time. However, my last experience with this establishment left a horrible taste in my mouth. Therefore, I am giving them an extra star for the previous experiences. On May 17th, 2026, my best friend and I had been looking forward to coming to Water Oak all day and had our taste buds set for the occasion. We were famished and had quite a day up until arriving. Upon entering the restaurant, we were very briefly greeted by the a Hispanic man who I assume is the manager and told that they were "no longer seating for the day". I glanced around and saw that every table inside WAS seated, however there were many tables outside that were empty. I asked about the patio stating that us where we preferred to sit anyway, and was met with that they were also not seating the patio at all for the rest of the day. However, there was a group of 3 women seated outside on the patio at that exact time. I didn't say anything, simply turned and left. After having "one of those days" hashing out something so minute with a person who clearly didn't want us in their place of business was not something I was about to do. Keep in mind, we came on a Sunday afternoon. Prime brunch time. We arrived at the restaurant around 2:30PM, and their website says they don't close until 4PM. I am a biracial black woman and my friend is white. I noticed a significant amount of White and Latino patrons, but a shocking lack of Black people. With Houston having one of the most diverse populations in the US, it is almost impossible not to see at least one individual of each ethnicity in a place at any given time. I am definitely not one that likes to pull the race card, because oftentimes that is not the issue. However, as someone who is familiar with the service industry I understand Sundays can be extremely overwhelming. And I am cognizant that not everything is that serious. But, I am also aware that a lot of people in the industry discriminate against people of color, with stigmas that we don't leave enough gratuity or we "don't fit the vibe of their establishment". And those 3 women seated on the patio? All White. After reading recent reviews, it seems that management is discriminating against people of color, more specifically Black folks. This is an extremely disheartening and sickening realization to make, seeing as I have given well over $1,000 worth of my money here but also enjoyed many meals without issue. To management: It breaks my heart to have to write this review and to be honest, I wouldn't have written it if I hadn't seen others posting about similar experiences in addition to also feeling discriminated against. I highly suggest that if you are "not seating" after a specific time, you announce this via social media or alert potential patrons with a sign or something of the sort. & obviously, there is such an issue with treatment towards POC that it is a noteworthy problem via your Google & Yelp reviews. You will have a much bigger fish to fry on your hands if you continue to let this issue go on unrectified. I would be willing to return if I felt things were to be changed for the better in the future! Hopefully this review sparks a much needed conversation and brings attention to an area which needs work.
