We ordered takeout and when we picked it up, we were greeted by two wonderful employees that were so welcoming! [[HIGHLIGHT]]That and the atmosphere made me immediately look forward to dining in next time I want their food...[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] which was outstanding so there will definitely be a next time. Best orange chicken I've ever had and the pad Thai was very good too!

Quick lunch in the neighborhood. Overall, satisfactory. Dishes were slightly on the oily side, especially the chicken satay and eggplant dish. Nothing extraordinary to make a detour. But good enough and as expected in the area. Service was friendly and quick. Served quite promptly. Easy parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good for one or two people or big groups of 10.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

They have the crispiest orange chicken I've ever tried! The noodles in the pad sew ew were the perfect size and not too mushy . They give you so much meat with your meal it is worth the price! The service was great, our waitress was fast and staff was always available. The mango sticky rice was also great, the mangos were perfectly ripe and the rice was still warm! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The whole place was also very clean[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Interior of restaurant is so clean and nice here. Was greeted instantly upon entry and seated asap. The ladies who work here are amazing, always checked up on me and asked if we needed anything else. Tom yum soup had so much flavor, the pad see ew noodles were great. Their spice level will be from 1-10, we got 2. It wasn't too spicy at all for us which we enjoyed. Portions were perfect for 2 people. Mango sticky rice is a must when going to a Thai restaurant. It was sweet and very much needed after the entree.

Food: 3.5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Food- Wide selection of dishes, with very differing qualities of taste. Here's my thoughts on each dish we ordered: 1. Roti- Tasted good, and the curry served with it was light yet flavorful, but the Roti was NOT Roti, being deep fried for way too long, resulting in a crispy almost fall apart texture that still tasted good, but didn't satisfy the craving for Roti 2. Chicken Wings- Enjoyable, but felt too salty to eat any more than two pieces per person. 3. Pad Thai- Really saucy for a pad Thai and leaned way too hard on fish sauce for the flavor, resulting in a smell that was strong and not reminiscent of what pad Thai should smell like. 4. Avocado Curry- Solid dish with great depth of flavor, could've had more beef though 5. Shrimp Fried Rice- Standout of the night. Great flavor that is unlike any other rice that I've had before. 6. Khao Soi- Really enjoyed this one too! The fried noodles taste almost pretzel-like to me, and the overall balance of flavors were great. 7. Mango Sticky Rice- A little bit pricy, but was incredibly refreshing and flavorful. There were quite a few misses this time around, with the appetizers we ordered and the Pad Thai either being middle-of-the-road or lower, but the fried rice, Khao Soi, Avocado Curry, and Mango Sticky Rice being great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service/Ambiance- Great! No complaints on this visit. The interior still feels modern and casual, and our waitress was very kind to us whenever taking our orders.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I do miss the old establishment that was here (Thai Cottage) but Eat Thai still serves up a good experience that encapsulates the staples of Thai food with some nice surprises.

Salad and eggroll with lunch special

Love this place just dont get here enough. Got a lunch special this visit, Prit King Chicken. These are priced very well. Cant get that dish everywhere. It was delicious, flavorful and the level 6 spice was perfect! Opted for salad over soup cuz their peanut sauce is the BOMB! Had their shrimp fresh rolls to start as I do every visit. They are fantastic - packed, fresh, flavorful! Service is always prompt, friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place is clean and nicely decorated- not usual kitche and tastefully done.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking can be a challenge so be patient but otherwise definitely worth a visit or more!

I recently stumbled upon a Facebook ad for their fantastic $3 Thai food event, and instantly thought, "Look, self! We ought to check it out!" So, this afternoon, I eagerly made my first visit to take advantage of such a sweet deal. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a canopy laden with various food items, all beckoning potential diners. The BBQ pork skewers immediately caught my eye, and the chicken meatball skewers and wings looked equally tempting. I ended up with about $24 worth of food, including the skewers, kung pao chicken, and both plain and fried rice, which I took inside to enjoy. Or so I thought. Honestly, my lunch was a bit hit-or-miss. I really enjoyed the BBQ pork, the kung pao chicken, and the pad thai, but both the plain and fried rice lacked significant flavor. The chicken meatball, unfortunately, was also a disappointment. Portion-wise, the food was definitely sizable, so much so that I ended up packing a lot into a to-go box. I quenched my thirst with a Thai iced tea, which was incredibly refreshing on a hot day like this. While I wouldn't say I got my money's worth, it was certainly worth a try given the special event.

Also wished that the peanuts were on the side rather than on the dish by default, so I'll keep that in mind. 5/5 Kao Pad - Spice level 1.5 seems wimpy, but it is perfect that way. SO extremely flavorful and the steak is so nicely cooked. Also love the tomatoes. 5/5 Ahi Tuna - I legit could go here and only get this. Everything about it is so perfect (other than the wasabi, because who invited wasabi to this perfect dish?) 4.5/5 Panang Curry - Very enjoyable, though I do wish there was more protein to the dish. 3/5 Asparagus and Crab - Kind of a disappointment. I don't think the two complement each other in any meaningful way. 3/5 Chilean Sea Bass - Chilean Sea Bass is so incredibly overrated. For the price and what we got, it simply left us wanting more of something else (I forgot what the dish is called... whoops, there is a picture) 4.5/5 Raad Prick - Plenty flavorful, though I do feel that there should be more to this dish like vegetables, but it does allow the fish to stand out.

I've gone about five times now and this was by far my least favorite experience (I still liked it, but I was a little disappointed), which was unfortunate since this was my parent's first experience here. My only issues were the food, so here's my opinion on each one we ordered: 1. Thai Tea - 4.8/5 - Definitely one of the best Thai Teas at a restaurant. Though I could still use more of the Thai Tea base flavor rather than milk, everyone at my table still enjoyed this drink. 2. Red Curry - 4.5/5 - Quite nice and had very good flavor. I don't love the addition of bell peppers in here, but that's a personal preference. 3. Pad See Ew - 3/5 - Kind of basic. Nothing made it stand out and noodles this kind of stuck together and became mushy. 4. Pad Thai - 3/5 - I've gotten this twice before, and for some reason it just tasted completely different and nothing like what Pad Thai should actually taste like. Not bad, but just not what you want when eating a Pad Thai. Noodles were also pretty mushy. 5. Steamed Fillet Snapper - 4/5 - Fairly clean and nice tasting, but just a little too plain for my taste. Still, a great option if you want something lighter for your meal. 6. Rib Eye Pepper Steak Thai Style - 4/5 - I really liked the sauce for this one and the beef was cooked very well, but the garlic they chose to put on top was extremely bitter and ruined my thoughts on the dish. I love this place, but this experience was the first time I've ever questioned going back here again. I hope this time was just a fluke.

The green beans xo sauce was phenomenal as well - whatever they coat it in really elevates the flavor and makes the vegetable much more enjoyable. I also wanted something light and hearty so I got the jungle curry. The two tone Thai tea was good, nothing extraordinary but will still satisfy you if you want a milky drink. It's essentially just Thai tea mixed with Thai green tea so if you've ever wanted them mixed together and weren't able to at other places, it doesn't hurt to try here (it's the same price as the regular ones anyway). And for the star to end the meal was the infamous mango sticky rice. By far the best I've had at any restaurant! The mango was perfectly ripe, the sticky rice was a perfect consistency, and the coconut milk was perfectly smooth. Absolute cinema. I would come back here just for this! The experience was --- interesting. As is common with tasting menu restaurants, there was a story to go with each dish presented. Also as common with this sort of thing, some dishes were better than others, and many were just okay. At $150 per person, it was on the expensive side, and I question whether it was worth that. Perhaps $100 would have been appropriate. A wine/cocktail option was offered for something like an additional $125, but everyone declined. We were filled to excess by the food, and found it difficult to imagine having space for drinks on top of that. An interesting experience, but we are unlikely to return at this price point. I think that I have decided that tasting menus just aren't my cup of tea, and I really prefer to go to a place where I can select exactly what I want.
