This one of the best Thai restaurant in town. Me and my friends always come here to eat every time we visit Nashville. The owners are very nice. The food is amazing every time. The place is very cozy.

This place has been here for over 20 years serving 100 Oak area, We stop by for lunch, craving papaya salad and spicy sausage plus some roasted duck, Foods were great and service was excellent. The place is nice and clean inside. Recommend if you're nearby and craving some Asian foods.

Combo lo mein. Pork steamed dumplings and basil duck.

The food is authentic, spicy and delicious. The owner is a shy gracious man, very respectful. We will definitely come back.

Good Food, Awesome Service From Leena We enjoyed our first trip to Thai Kitchen not only for the delicious food, but the excellent service from Leena. She went out of her way to be super sweet to our son as well as just having a happy personality overall. Interesting conversations too. Drunken Boodles were delicious. I might have liked a slightly larger portion but it was tasty. Pad Thai is awesome here. Good serving size.... DELICIOUS! Mango Sticky Rice made for a good finale of tastiness! Fried Banana Dessert: drizzled honey over tiny fried bananas. Tasty! They give you bottled water for free to drink instead of glasses of water. Unlimited supply. This will become one of our regular spots now for sure when we are in the area. All in all a great spot to get some tasty food! What are you waiting for, stop in and enjoy some flavor in your life!

Came here for a quick lunch. The shop is so quaint and lovely. The staff is super nice. The food came out super fast and was delicious. I got the veggie red curry and my sister got the kung pao chicken. I will say the portions of rice are fairly small in proportion to the amount of curry. I also had a random shrimp in my vegetarian curry which I enjoyed but could be problematic for anyone with seafood allergies. Overall, super fantastic Thai food for the price and the shop is cute.

Thai Kitchen is the best mom and pop restaurant. You get great value, authentic taste and real nice owners. Chinese bbq: this is my absolute favorite dish that they make. The mom only makes this every once in a while so make sure you call ahead and check if she has it available. If she has it though, get ready for a sweet and savory sauce with juicy pieces of dark meat. The flavor is soaked through as it's oven baked in their kitchen. I make sure I order two. One for lunch and one for dinner. Thai style minced pork basil with fried egg: listen just get the fried egg added on. You won't regret it with the basil explosion with every bite. Garlic beef: lots of garlic. Need I say more? Okay I will. The beef is tender and the brown sauce is great to mix in with your white rice. Don't forget your Thai tea! Support this mom and pop Thompson lane staple!

Service is always friendly and quick. I used to think the mild Pad Kra Pao was pretty spicy, but I think they have decreased the spice levels because now it is extremely manageable. They have chili oil and other spices at the table in case you need to add more spice. Recently, I've been loving the red curry. It is packed full of meat, vegetables, and flavor. Parking can be a little cramped so keep that in mind if you're visiting during a busy time. For the service itself, it's the kind of place where you simply order at the cashier and take a number to your table. They've always been quick to drop off our food. I ordered the Street Dumplings during my last visit and they were fantastic. It's hard to find good soup dumplings in these parts so I'll probably be ordering these as an appetizer every time now. The Chicken Red Curry was also delicious, if a little mild. I just wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often!

The…read morebase of vegetable broth mixed with coconut milk was creamy yet not heavy (with a blend of yellow and red curry spices, according to the menu -- sadly I am not that well versed in curries!). The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the tofu was browned to perfection. The grilled broccoli and cauliflower were snappy and contrasted well with the rest of the ingredients. The dish had a spicy yet tolerable kick to it, but I have a very high threshold for spice and heat (I added chili oil to take it up a notch!). Also, the portion size is BIG. I was very hungry so I had no issues finishing most of it, but it could easily be shared between two adults, especially if you order an appetizer or side. I loved the interior decor, which was simple yet eye catching. The mural encompassing the entire space in particular looked really cool. The place was packed, but the friendly staff were hustling to keep the line moving.

The hardest part about eating at Degthai is beelining to the Tiew Gang Vegan. (BTW, I am not Vegan, yet I LOVE the Tiew Gang Vegan.) They do everything well - the other curries, the standard noodle dishes, the dumplings - and it can be tempting to just go with your regular go-to dish like Pad Thai w/Chicken (BORRRINGG, but they do it well nonetheless.) You've gotta try the Tiew Gang Vegan. It's truly a once-in-a-year of eating out experience finding a dish this incredible. It competes pound-for-pound in the same heavy hitter weight class as the best Pho, Ramen, Jjamppong, or Beef Noodle Soup you've ever had. I've now been to Degthai 10 times, and have gotten the Tiew Gang Vegan the last 5 times in a row.

Wasted Soup dumplings are so damn cool. It's also either an engineering marvel or some sort of biblical miracle. How is the soup born inside the little dumpling?? So many questions!! I had some here and they were sure tasty!! I also had some killer crispy fried pork belly and some kick ass twice fried Korean wings!! Pork belly had tremendous umami flavors and was sticky sweet and yummy all at once! Loved it! But then came the Star.... I love chicken wings as much as I love life! That my friend, is a whole fucking lot!! I am more full of myself than you could possibly imagine. I loved these particular chicken wings a little more than life. I walked through downtown Nashville alone, on a random weeknight, just to eat these wings because I saw them on Yelp. The Soup Dumplings were just as amazing, but the Roti Canai (Malaysian flatbreads with curry sauce) stole the show. The curry was rich with the perfect amount of spice. You're missing out if you skip the appetizers here. For my entrée, I ordered the Hong Kong Wonton Noodle Soup, and all I can say is wow. The broth and tender wontons were the perfect combination. My boyfriend loved his Pad Thai as well, and the only downside was the portion size for the price. I want to give a huge shoutout to our server, Jaylen, for making the experience top-notch. The atmosphere is like a restaurant in a store. Oh, wait, it is a restaurant in a store. But I wasn't here for the ambiance. I was here for the food. The benefit of being in a market is you can grab Asian items for home, including some fruits and vegetables you won't find at your local Kroger. As for the market, there is a nice selection of items from Asia or used in Asian dishes. I also found some interesting snack items, including versions of lays potato chips I have never seen in a US based grocery.
