I stopped by the L&L market and stumbled upon this gem! I'm a huge lover of Thai food and absolutely loved the flavor of this one. Super authentic and packed with boldness. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the sauce itself balanced everything so nicely, I loved the crunch of the peanuts as an added bonus. I really appreciated the different toppings and menu variety. The space itself is super sleek and great for a day out. Lots of drink/noodle/rice options for everyone!

Love this Thai place! I finally found THE pad see eww I have been looking for in Nashville. I have been disappointed by several others due to either missing flavor or subpar texture of the Thai noodle dishes. This one is going to be my go to in the future. It's a family owned business and the server was one of the family members and she was very friendly. I love that it's in L&L market. This is a nice cozy place!

Every time I visit L&L, I say something like "Oh, I need to try that Thai place!" I'm happy to say that I finally had a chance to dine at Thai Ni Yom, and I can confirm that it's a tasty spot for a quick lunch in West Nashville. Double check their hours before heading to the market just for this spot ... one of the reasons it took me a while to try them is because they're not open on Mondays or Tuesdays! Everything on their menu sounded amazing, but I ended up ordering the Famous Basil and a Thai iced tea. My food was ready in less than 20 minutes, and there's plenty of seating available to wait. I ordered my meal to-go, but ended up eating right outside the stall. Let me just say that the basil is famous for a reason! My meal was bright and saucy - with a nice mix of meat and veggies like green peppers and baby corn. It's served with rice, which was perfectly cooked. I also added on a fried egg, which was another tasty textural component. My only critique is that the portion size is pretty small for the price ... but that wouldn't stop me from dining here again! The Thai tea was sweet and balanced - just what I needed to wash down a delicious lunch.

This is an awesome place to get solid Thai food. I've tried many of their dishes and they are always hot, fresh, and flavorful. I love the staff here. They are always so kind, warm, welcoming, and friendly. I highly recommend this place. I always come here for Thai food that never disappoints.

Been to L&L tons of times, but hadn't tried Thai Ni Yom yet. So glad I finally did! Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp was very good. Hostess was very sweet and service was very quick. Took it to go, but next time I will sit down in the little nook behind the restaurant for a quieter dining experience inside of L&L. Highly recommend!

Spent some time at L&L recently and was excited to try Thai Ni Yom's Famous Basil dish - got it to go - and it was still deliciously fresh at home. It was made with ground chicken, rice, a fried egg added, and the best flavors and basil ever! I was very pleased. Ordering was easy, quick, and I enjoyed waiting in the cute wooden tables and chairs. Only knock is the price is steep for the portion size you get.

Nashville has some solid Thai options and this is up there as well. The best Tom Yum soup I've had to date here. Clean, sour, fresh, and spicy. $11.99 Chicken Basil (pad krapow) lunch portion. Soup is a little pricey at $7 for a small container but to have two excellent dishes for under $20 for lunch is great! Really nice people as I came on the late side for lunch around 245 as they shut down at 3. Dinner resumes later at some point. They shut down their seating at 230 but I took my order to some main seating area inside the market. Took about 10 minutes to prepare. Also, be warned...4/5 on their heat scale is HOT...big thumbs up for me! They have a validation code to scan for the outside parking. Can't wait to go back and try some dishes!

The food here was really tasty, and the service was friendly and helpful. Thai Ni Yom is inside the L&L Market, which is a small shopping mall with a variety of shops and restaurants. We arrived just as they were opening, and the woman was very helpful in letting us know which items were gluten-free. The Pad Thai was really overflowing with flavor. The chicken was moist and tender, which I have to say I found to be a rare treat. So often when I get Pad Thai or similar dishes the chicken is really dry and a bit tough. My wife and I were both super happy with our Pad Thai at Thai Ni Yom. I had the Fried Spring Rolls, which were good and surprisingly flavorful. My wife had the Fresh Rolls, which lived up to their name being really fresh and of great quality. My only minor complaint was that it took about 30 minutes for us to get our food. If I had been trying to squeeze my meal into a lunch hour, I would have been pressed for time. They weren't busy at the time, and they do make everything to order, but it seemed like a long wait. But they may have also not quite gotten up to speed yet since we arrived just as they were opening. Regardless, the food was fantastic and the service was friendly and helpful, so we'll definitely be back.

So incredibly yummy! A little restaurant inside the L&L shopping/dining area. Super clean, super friendly. And honestly some of the best Pad Thai I've had in Nashville so far!

Best Thai food in Nashville!!…read more I love Degthai and have eaten here numerous times, both in person and for takeout. The portions are gigantic and the food is delicious. Service is always friendly and quick. I used to think the mild Pad Kra Pao was pretty spicy, but I think they have decreased the spice levels because now it is extremely manageable. They have chili oil and other spices at the table in case you need to add more spice. Recently, I've been loving the red curry. It is packed full of meat, vegetables, and flavor. Parking can be a little cramped so keep that in mind if you're visiting during a busy time. For the service itself, it's the kind of place where you simply order at the cashier and take a number to your table. They've always been quick to drop off our food. I ordered the Street Dumplings during my last visit and they were fantastic. It's hard to find good soup dumplings in these parts so I'll probably be ordering these as an appetizer every time now. The Chicken Red Curry was also delicious, if a little mild. I just wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often!

Parking is free (must be validated inside the store) once you're seated. When it comes to the food, overall it was pretty good and reasonably priced. Lots to pick from, including Pho in a Thai restaurant. However, not sure if it was missed by our server, but the spice level (we got everything on a level 4 out of 5) was nowhere to be found/noticed. Pretty sure it was not spicy at all, we all added the chili oil which helped tremendously. On the other hand, protein was minimal. The portion was underwhelming and especially the chicken in the curry and shrimp in the fried rice. Lastly, the Thai iced tea felt more "sweet/sugary" rather than being actual tea. For the Kra Prao Moo Kai Doo, the Minced pork was very moist with plenty of flavor. There was a ton of rice served with it lol. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the tofu was browned to perfection. The grilled broccoli and cauliflower were snappy and contrasted well with the rest of the ingredients. The dish had a spicy yet tolerable kick to it, but I have a very high threshold for spice and heat (I added chili oil to take it up a notch!). Also, the portion size is BIG. I was very hungry so I had no issues finishing most of it, but it could easily be shared between two adults, especially if you order an appetizer or side. I loved the interior decor, which was simple yet eye catching. The mural encompassing the entire space in particular looked really cool. The place was packed, but the friendly staff were hustling to keep the line moving.

As for the market, there is a nice selection of items from Asia or used in Asian dishes. I also found some interesting snack items, including versions of lays potato chips I have never seen in a US based grocery.
