Stopped into Nashville to watch a game and catch a concert. I had already had my fill of Nashville Hot Chicken and needed something a little different for my dinner option. Who doesn't love Thai?! Quickly seared and ordered a bun and some pad Thai w/chicken at mid range heat. The buns were a little disappointing as they had the paper stuck in the bottom which I didn't realize until after my first bite. Was able to carefully remove the rest prior to continuing. The pad thai was good, but the spice really overpowered the other flavors making it a bit of a hard eat for a medium spice dish. Fully familiar with Thai hot as I have enjoyed visiting Thailand on occasion. Service was very friendly and quick through the whole dining experience. Seating area supported good conversations with minimal noise for a great dining experience for parties.

The Khao Poon (Red Curry Noodle Soup) is delicious. Heat level 3 is perfect.

This is my local Thai place, and it seems to improve every time we eat here. When they first opened, the menu was limited and portions were small. Now, their menu is much more robust, the portions are larger, and the food tastes really good. Their noodle dishes and their noodle soups are my favorites. I especially enjoy their Khao Poon (Curry Noodle Soup) made with red curry, ground chicken, and cabbage. I also love their Pad Thai with Shrimp! Their Pineapple Fried Rice is a favorite of my Wife. Their heat levels are 0-5. 3s and 4s work really well if you like some spice. The service is always friendly and the food is always good here. I highly recommend Thai Phooket!

Craving pad Thai, I stopped in for takeout and walked out with what felt like two pounds of it! I liked the taste but if I'm comparing it to Peter's Thai and sushi in Brentwood, I prefer Peter's. It was ok, but I usually get the fried rice so I'll stick with that in the future ( we live nearby). Service was fine and quick - ready in under 5 minutes. Parking is always free and easy here.

Was looking for a dinner spot close by to where I was staying and ended up at Thai Phooket. So glad I came by as the Thai food was delicious, the service was good, and the prices were very fair. I ordered the broccoli carrot stir fry with fresh tofu with jasmine rice. This dish was super flavorful and tasty. Really good portions as well! A nice and chill ambiance with friendly staff.

One of the best PAD THAI I have had in Nash - freakin' love the tamarind flavor that's forward in this fresh and savory dish! The noodles were perfectly cooked, chicken crispy, and fresh veggies and lime wedges - so much flavor!! We also split a drunken rice with beef level 2 spice - absolutely delicious but wish we had tried their pineapple fried rice - that's next! The service was 5 stars - we came midday when it wasn't too busy and felt like royalty. Also, very impressed with how aesthetically pleasing it was inside, the outside doesn't do justice for how well decorated and clean the inside is. Only need is a repaved parking lot, as there is a lot of pot holes and broken glass/damage/debris that needs taken care of.

Not the best picture but a quick picture of the drunken noodles before I devoured them

Pretty good food that is reasonably priced. Started with the crispy tofu which was oh so crispy. Comes with a sweet chili sauce which is very necessary because otherwise it's a bit bland. I ordered the drunken noodles as my meal, which is one of my favorite Thai dishes. So much flavor and a delicious assortment of veggies and noodles. The 2/5 spice level was perfect for me too! One of our go to spots for Thai food!

Moved to Nashville a few months ago & this is our favorite Thai place or place to eat in general!! Whether it's take out, door dashed, or dining in, the food has been amazing each time!

Yellow Noodle Stir Fried Chicken was excellent today. Level 2 spice was just right. Good service.

Practically no chicken for an $18 pad Thai is insane. Also the menu online is cheaper than what the actual prices are.

Best Thai food in Nashville!!…read more I love Degthai and have eaten here numerous times, both in person and for takeout. The portions are gigantic and the food is delicious. Service is always friendly and quick. I used to think the mild Pad Kra Pao was pretty spicy, but I think they have decreased the spice levels because now it is extremely manageable. They have chili oil and other spices at the table in case you need to add more spice. Recently, I've been loving the red curry. It is packed full of meat, vegetables, and flavor. For the service itself, it's the kind of place where you simply order at the cashier and take a number to your table. They've always been quick to drop off our food. I ordered the Street Dumplings during my last visit and they were fantastic. It's hard to find good soup dumplings in these parts so I'll probably be ordering these as an appetizer every time now. The Chicken Red Curry was also delicious, if a little mild. I just wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often!

The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the tofu was browned to perfection. The grilled broccoli and cauliflower were snappy and contrasted well with the rest of the ingredients. The dish had a spicy yet tolerable kick to it, but I have a very high threshold for spice and heat (I added chili oil to take it up a notch!). Also, the portion size is BIG. I was very hungry so I had no issues finishing most of it, but it could easily be shared between two adults, especially if you order an appetizer or side. I loved the interior decor, which was simple yet eye catching. The mural encompassing the entire space in particular looked really cool. The place was packed, but the friendly staff were hustling to keep the line moving.

We enjoyed it so much that we went the next day before we left! The food is priced very fairly and the menu has a really fun twist where there isn't the traditional appetizer, main, dessert. I have a peanut allergy and they were very accommodating and automatically made any necessary adjustments to dishes we ordered. We tried a couple different drinks and they were all very good and fairly priced. We went on weekend nights and only had to wait around 20 minutes to be seated indoors, which was to be expected as this place was packed with people and we would have been willing to wait longer if needed. We had two different servers, I unfortunately can't remember our first one's name but she was the one with stretched ears that normally wears her hair up. She was great and very thorough in explaining how the menu worked. The second night we had Lexi and she was super sweet. They were both fantastic and I hope to be seated with either one of them when we eventually go back!

We didn't explore the grocery that much but it seemed like it had a nice balance of dry food goods, refrigerated items, and small objects, mostly either for cooking or the occasional gift. It was clean inside and being a grocery store had a good bit of parking outside. The restaurant is on the far right as you enter. We were greeted warmly and told to seat ourselves. Menus were delivered promptly. I ordered a Thai tea to drink. Hubs got the fried shrimp appetizer and we both chose noodles for lunch; he opted for pad see ew and I got drunken noodles. The restaurant was fairly busy but despite the crowdedness it still felt easy to have conversation with each other. Our food came out quickly but had clearly been cooked fresh. The Thai tea was the one thing that didn't hit at all. It had a very intense flavor that I couldn't quite place compared to all the other Thai teas I've had. Could just be this one is more traditional, lol. But it wasn't quite as sweet as I'm used to and it almost had a subtly salty vibe; I wouldn't get it again. That said, the cooked food items were quite good. The breading on the shrimp was incredibly crispy and even I liked them well enough at first; the flavor was light and the texture not rubbery. We did ultimately realize these shrimp had not been deveined, which is not our preference but I understand it's not a requirement to be able to eat them. The noodle dishes really shone, though. Hubs liked his pad see ew and we both thought my drunken noodles were even better. Lots of tender but still-crisp veggies in both. Strong and pleasantly aromatic basil flavor in mine. Large portion sizes. The noodles were cooked well and were pleasantly chewy. Mine was lightly spicy but nothing intense; I wound up adding more chili oil from the small container on the table. Service was a highlight throughout; the women working were very personable, got us to-go boxes, and were attentive to any other needs we had. Lots of menu choices here and fresh food prepared quickly. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.
