My friends and I were craving Thai and wanted to try Thai Phooket on a wimp. The service was nice and quick, lots of seating inside and wasn't busy (no wait). Parking is free (must be validated inside the store) once you're seated. When it comes to the food, overall it was pretty good and reasonably priced. Lots to pick from, including Pho in a Thai restaurant. However, not sure if it was missed by our server, but the spice level (we got everything on a level 4 out of 5) was nowhere to be found/noticed. Pretty sure it was not spicy at all, we all added the chili oil which helped tremendously. On the other hand, protein was minimal. The portion was underwhelming and especially the chicken in the curry and shrimp in the fried rice. Lastly, the Thai iced tea felt more "sweet/sugary" rather than being actual tea. Stopped into Nashville to watch a game and catch a concert. I had already had my fill of Nashville Hot Chicken and needed something a little different for my dinner option. Who doesn't love Thai?! Quickly seared and ordered a bun and some pad Thai w/chicken at mid range heat. The buns were a little disappointing as they had the paper stuck in the bottom which I didn't realize until after my first bite. Was able to carefully remove the rest prior to continuing. The pad thai was good, but the spice really overpowered the other flavors making it a bit of a hard eat for a medium spice dish. Fully familiar with Thai hot as I have enjoyed visiting Thailand on occasion. Service was very friendly and quick through the whole dining experience. This is my local Thai place, and it seems to improve every time we eat here. When they first opened, the menu was limited and portions were small. Now, their menu is much more robust, the portions are larger, and the food tastes really good. Their noodle dishes and their noodle soups are my favorites. I especially enjoy their Khao Poon (Curry Noodle Soup) made with red curry, ground chicken, and cabbage. I also love their Pad Thai with Shrimp! Their Pineapple Fried Rice is a favorite of my Wife. One of the best PAD THAI I have had in Nash - freakin' love the tamarind flavor that's forward in this fresh and savory dish! The noodles were perfectly cooked, chicken crispy, and fresh veggies and lime wedges - so much flavor!! We also split a drunken rice with beef level 2 spice - absolutely delicious but wish we had tried their pineapple fried rice - that's next! The service was 5 stars - we came midday when it wasn't too busy and felt like royalty. Also, very impressed with how aesthetically pleasing it was inside, the outside doesn't do justice for how well decorated and clean the inside is. Pretty good food that is reasonably priced. Started with the crispy tofu which was oh so crispy. Comes with a sweet chili sauce which is very necessary because otherwise it's a bit bland. I ordered the drunken noodles as my meal, which is one of my favorite Thai dishes. So much flavor and a delicious assortment of veggies and noodles. The 2/5 spice level was perfect for me too! Ordered delivery. Forgot an item. Some of the seafood in a dish was off. The bao bun was thick like a biscuit.

Constructive criticism: Called to place a pickup order. The phone was picked up and intentionally placed to the side, while I was ignored. Stayed on the line for about 30-45 seconds while I listened to people in the background. I've had this happen before at other restaurants, and I've never been back to any of them. If the staff is unable to say "the kitchen is closed" or "please, hold for a moment while I finish assisting another customer", you won't be making money off of me. I'm not a Karen, this is bad business and a poor quality of the staff. Maybe it was one persons neglect, and shouldn't be reflected to the entire business, but it has. read more

My son who was visiting Nashville went to this place for dinner. He had mentioned his allergy to nuts, Dairy and Shrimp to the staff who had confirmed that the dish he was having had none of the above allergy ingredients. However within a couple of bite his throat and lips started swelling up and had to rush to ER and was treated. If restaurant staff are not sure please please do not put your customers at risk. some of these allergies are life threatening and to be taken seriously. Delicious flavor and kind staff. They are able to make most dishes vegan which is a huge plus!!

The food was freezing cold. Despite having complained and asking them to reheat the food they brought back the food cold. When we asked to talk to the manager there was no manager. The one lady cooking in the back comes out and gives us attitude. We ordered 8 dishes and every single one of the dishes was rithe cold or had some issues with flavor. How does anyone run a restaurant like that ? It isn't the fault of the wait staff or the cook in the back kitchen. This is completely the fault of the manager. I also tried the pad woon sen salad, and the sauce in that was really good. Not good: The *beef* in the pad woon sen salad was really not good. I had a rice dish, and the rice bordered on being over cooked/wet-ish. I also got the chicken egg rolls, and they were greasy inside! We ate at Thai Phooket (formerly King Siam) and had a very good experience mainy due to the great service we received from Brandon. A very professional, knowledgeable waiter. His recommendations were spot on. We ordered the Appetizer Combo, Pad Se-ew, Beef Salad, and the garlic stir fry with chicken. Heat level 2 (out of 5) was perfect for our palate. For dessert, we ordered the mango sticky rice. I forgot to take pictures, but we will be back for sure! There is ample parking too and the restrooms were clean. read more

so happy thai phooket is back! i was shocked to learn of its rebirth in a new location when going to king siam but was happy to learn of the return. the tom kha coconut soup is delish, pad thai unbeatable, and our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive. it has a completely different vibe inside compared to the goodlettsville/OG downtown location, but i love it all just the same. can't wait to return! read more
