    Complimentary soup

Okay. The location we went too was the St Charles location. The place is a nice size with a lot of parking. Clean and a lot of traffic. Take out and dine in customers. The service is a little slow but they are very friendly also the are busy. The complimentary soup was full of flavor! We ordered the appetizer sampler which was very good! The spring fresh rolls were a little disappointing. The only peanut sauce was just too sweet but hardly any peanut flavor. The rolls itself were just not the best. The BBQ pork fried rice was extremely disappointing. Just no flavor at all and the pork was super dry. We hardly ate it. The only thing that was delicious was the shrimp Pad Thai! Full of flavor and big shrimp! The pad Thai saved the visit.

I was thinking of Thai food and this restaurant was close to where I was staying. I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu....it was not bad. I had a fried spring roll as an appetizer and that was good too. The dipping sauce that came with it need a little more flavor. But overall it was a satisfying meal.

Tiny little restaurant with a steady stream of customers both dine-in and take-out. The door Dash orders keeps them on their toes as well. Only one server which means you need to flag her down every time you need some thing but she always brings it quickly when you do. Just be patient. I have a peanut allergy and they were able to accommodate me easily. I have the fresh summer rolls with the lemon grass dipping sauce instead of the peanut sauce and it was really refreshing. I would order this even if I wasn't allergic to peanuts! Tonight I order the Penang grouper with eggplant instead of green peppers and it was super delicious. Such a good umami flavor. I brought half home because portions are huge, plus I ate all those summer rolls. LOL! I have also had there Khao Soi (Thai curry soup), and it was very good as well. They accommodate to your spice level and mild means mild, which isn't always the case at Thai restaurants. I appreciate that! I will be back.

This is my FAVORITE Thai food restaurant! I've been to many Thai restaurants, but the Khua noodle is the reason this place is my favorite. I always add egg and prefer either a spice level 2 or 3. My boyfriend gets the Pad Thai and it's delicious as well. All the entrees I've tried from here are always great and the portions are HUGE. I will say, their appetizers are not my favorites, but they have many to choose from. Their spring rolls are our favorite and the Thai dumplings aren't bad either, but I've had better apps other places. We get take out from here almost every other week, and I don't see us stopping that any time soon!

We went there on late Friday evening, for a quick dinner. The ambience of the place was good, the place is cozy and small. While ordering we mentioned we are vegetarian the sever said she request not use any fish sauce or eggs. We ordered Spicy noodles, Panang curry and red curry . The food was good and service was also good. They close at 9pm so we had to pay while we were eating but that is okay. I would definitely go here again.

The restaurant was very clean. The food was of an excellent and high-quality. We had pad Thai with chicken and pad Thai with pork. We also had a soup and several other items. We asked for some Sriracha sauce; and that was really the only problem. It looked all watery and disgusting, I've had that type of sauce hundreds of times, and it never looked as disgusting. Perhaps they put water into it? Anyway, the portion sizes are absolutely huge. I mean, they are gigantic. I wish I would've known how large they are, otherwise we would have ordered so many different items, including Pad See Ewe ---- So I really think they should've put pictures of the food on the menu. In the year 2024 it's quite inexcusable not to have pictures of the food. The pad Thai was certainly not the most imaginative or best I've ever had, and yet it was really pretty amazing.

Thai kitchen is one of my fav places for Thai girl !! Food is normally always fresh, flavorful and delicious! I went last night maybe 30 min before they closed and the cashier seemed to be annoyed i hadn't called in an order for pick up in which i did attempt to call but got no answer so i just drove to the restaurant that only was occupied by a party of 6 closing their checks. I went ahead and ordered my food and she was just unpleasant and seemed annoyed to be getting business right before close. As i sat inside waiting for my food the the DoorDash it Grubhub tablet alarmed of another order received and she let out the biggest "huuuuuuh" and rolled her eyes. Since this is my 1st negative experience i would just recommend keeping her in the back somewhere if she's going display frustration towards people paying to keep the place open when so many restaurants are closing weekly. I ordered one of the noodle soups and a Thai tea which all was good besides the bean sprouts looked not so fresh and smelled funny and were placed under my rice noodles when normally all the garnishes are placed on top. Will definitely go again just hope for a better interaction and fresher product.

We ordered the cumin beef, twice cooked pork, beef noodle soup, fish in chili oil, and also a beef pho (not pictured because we started eating it right away). The twice cooked pork was my favorite. Really flavorful pork belly with leeks and chili, a little smoky from the wok, and perfect with rice. I'd go back just for that dish. The cumin beef was also great -- lots of cumin and spices with crispy bits of beef. The fish in chili oil came in a huge bowl packed with dried chilies, garlic, and peppercorns. Definitely spicy but really good if you like Sichuan-style dishes. The beef noodle soup was comforting and hearty, and the beef pho was solid too -- good broth and a big bowl. It's a pretty casual setup since it's inside the grocery store, but the food is legit and the portions are generous. I love that they offer whole and half duck. I have to try the crispy pork that hangs along side the duck in addition to the duck. Also the prices are reasonable and the portion size is nice. They have a great menu offering and even sell cold dishes on the outside of the register in the display case, such as: sushi and vegan duck. See my pics attached to my review for Pan Asia

The words do not convey the end product. For those who do not like sashimi - I understand. At other places, it has literally made me gag. But, I tried it here and holy moly is it good. In a menu of stand out dishes, I think the sashimi is at the very top. The service was wonderful- friendly, knowledgeable, attentive but not too attentive. Gratuity seemed to be included, but we tipped on top of that because the included gratuity was not nearly enough for service that good. Now it is noisy. That is what I did not like, but I have noise challenges. We asked if we could sit up front near the bar. They kindly accommodated us. It was late on a Thursday and the restaurant was full. We ordered the salad served in little lettuce boats (can't remember the name), the garlic noodles, and the beef curry, and nearly every dish was overwhelmingly sweet. I'm especially disappointed because this isn't the kind of place you expect to be hit or miss at that price point. We may give it another try someday, but unfortunately it probably won't be anytime soon.

I dropped in on a Saturday evening and ordered the **Shroomed Up** ramen, and it was a ramen masterclass in a bowl. The broth managed to be incredibly rich and deeply savory-sweet all at once, without ever feeling heavy. It was loaded with thick, substantial slabs of mushrooms, tender-cooked bok choy, and the noodles were the star of the show--thick and perfectly cooked to that ideal sweet spot where they aren't too chewy but have zero mushiness. Even with a line stretching out the door when we arrived, the wait wasn't tedious, and we reached the counter reasonably fast. The ordering process is standard counter service, but the staff member who took our order was incredibly nice, polite, and helpful, practically predicting my questions as I was looking over the menu. The same employee even brought our bowls out to us. The space was definitely crowded for a weekend night, but the seat-yourself setup worked out perfectly for the two of us; we still had three tables to choose from. The interior has a great energy with fun, East-Asian and Japanese-themed decor lining the walls. The Breakdown Food Quality: 5+/5 + Service: 4/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Vibe: 4/5 Quality/Value: 4/5 **Pro Tip:** Don't let a Saturday evening line out the door scare you off! The counter service team moves people through the queue efficiently, and if you are dining in a small group of two, the table turnover is quick enough that you'll still easily find a spot to sit down.

The Vietnamese coffee wasn't as strong as I was expecting, I would not really get it from this place which is understandable since it's more for food than the drinks. Lastly, the chicken pho had a clean, light broth that was comforting without being too heavy or salty. The portion size was just right for a full meal. The restaurant itself is cozy and simple, but don't let the size fool you--this place is focused on serving very good food. The highlight of the visit was the soup dumplings, which arrived in a bamboo steamer basket. The dumplings were tender and delicate, and each one was filled with rich consommé (soup) and flavorful meat. When you bite into them, be careful because the dumplings are full of hot broth that bursts out. The soup inside was packed with flavor and made the dumplings stand out. The sandwiches were also excellent. Whether you choose the pork or the beef, the bread was perfectly crunchy and the meat inside was very flavorful. It made for a great balance of texture with the crispy bread and tender meat. Another dish that really stood out was the mashed cucumber salad with hot pepper oil. It was fresh, slightly spicy, and very refreshing alongside the dumplings and sandwiches. Overall, Fan's Soup Dumplings feels like a hidden gem in St. Charles. It's a small restaurant that focuses on doing a few dishes very well, and the quality of the food really shows. Overall: A small but very good restaurant serving authentic soup dumplings, excellent sandwiches, and flavorful sides. They had some calming music playing and the dining area was clean and serene, as I remembered from before. Soup dumplings are their specialty, which I tried in the past--they are delicious, and I don't know of many places that offer them in the STL/St Charles areas. That said, I tried the chili oil wontons and shrimp dumplings this time. I could probably skip the shrimp next visit, but the chili oil wontons are TO DIE FOR. DO NOT SKIP THEM!! I chose pork as my filling, but they offer beef and chicken as well. For a VERY reasonable price, you get enough in one order to easily have a pretty solid lunch. They are tender and the filling ratio is spot on. The chili oil broth could stand on its own, in my opinion. It isn't overly spicy, but they offer chili crisp at your table, which I happily added to up my spice level. Do yourself a favor and try them, you won't be disappointed. I will continue to eat my way through their menu undoubtedly, but these will be a MUST for every single visit, in my book!
