I've been to this restaurant only a couple of times but it has not disappointed! I am obsessed with their yellow and panang curry. So flavorful and rich! Their fried rice and drunken noodles are also delicious, and the sweet potato tempura rolls were exactly what I was wanting. The times I've been here I have ordered to-go and the food did not take long. Their Thai tea is also very tasty. Staff were very nice as well and the restaurant was clean. There is tons of parking and the restaurant is a very nice size with lots of seating so bring your friends or family! Let's start with the restaurant ambiance, it was clean and modern. I was the only one in the restaurant to the service was very quick. The prices were about average. The food was decent but nothing special. The egg rolls were crispy and had good flavor. The Boat Noodle Soup was ok but the beef balls were as if they were still a bit frozen. It didn't have alot of rare steak in the bowl and I'm not sure what was going on but the Soup didn't really cook the meat. Customer service and cleanliness is 10. Attentive, friendly and food was serve timely. The place is spacious and very clean. I was here first time with my daughter/mommy daughter day out. Our bill came around to $80++ for 2. 2 serving of white rice, Thai ice tea, jasmine hot tea, mango sticky rice dessert, shrimp rolls, pineapple red chicken curry and fried chicken. The menu is plenty but not necessary. The curry was expensive, small portion in my opinion. And, the friend chicken- no need to complicate it. I just wanted a regular flavorful fried chicken even at that price. I didn't like the inside of the chicken, it was stuffed- it didn't say stuffed fried chicken in the menu. Plus, I I had Thai food several time in Thailand. I'm accustomed to the taste. Nonetheless, I'm not measuring the food level here up to the authentic level served in Thailand. But I had better Thai food in other restaurants in US. To be fair, there's plenty other food on the menu to choose from , they may have been better a choice. If I may, keep it simple, fresh and flavorful. Memorable enough once it hits the tastebud you want to come again. Portion and price matters. Have a choice small and large, think that might help. I absolutely love Thai food and thought I would give this restaurant a try as it is close to my work. It was extremely disappointing. The food is overpriced, the portions small and, I'm sorry to say, it was not good at all. $25 for shrimp pad Thai that had 3 shrimp in it. It was drenched in a strange sauce for pad Thai that tasted more like BBQ sauce. There was so much of the sauce that it was soupy. The fresh spring rolls were really rubbery and difficult to eat. They contained mostly lettuce and were very bland tasting. The peanut sauce that came with them was runny, orange and had an odd flavor. I don't think the fresh spring rolls were made fresh at all. The rice paper was so rubbery and dry at the same time that I would guess they had been made days before. The restaurant itself was empty but appeared very clean and well kept. However, I won't be returning because we go to a restaurant for the food and, unfortunately, it was very sub par and disappointing. read more

The waiter was attentive and customer friendly. Food was served in a timely. Clean inside. The reason why it's rated so low is because of the food quality. I ordered pad krao pow beef. We came here for a UYE Xmas dinner and get together with Yelp friends. Rachelle M. was our lovely party sponsor who planned the event. We filled the whole reserved table area with our festive group. The wait staff was on the ball and very attentive. We were glad to find out that they allowed separate checks for each guest or family. The food was delicious too! I was pleasantly surprised to find my egg rolls were vegetarian while others had meat in theirs. As a finishing touch, I just had to end my meal with a mango & sweet sticky rice dessert! Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. But Joe K and I did notice that the portions were a little smaller than expected. Great food and nice little Thai place located in Safeway parking lot in Carmichael. I ordered the Pad See Ew with pan fried flat rice noodles, eggs, garlic, broccoli, carrots cabbage and brown sauce the spice was perfect for me. My husband ordered the Pad Thai with pan fried rice noodles with eggs, beans sprouts, green onions and topped with ground peanuts the spice was about 1 spice level. Should of went with level 2 my husband likes spicer food. Service was good and portions were large and food was very good. Thai Loa Cuisine has a nice dinner menu with a lot of choices. First and last time we brought from this restaurant. We ordered 3 items, the mixed seafood was poorly served. As you see in the picture it had just 2 shrimps and 2 mussels, where were the rest of seafood?? Also no side dish or rice came with it, you have to pay extra $3 for it. Paying $20 for this item no worth it. Then, the wonton soup had more noodles than meat and veggies, and no flavor on it. The soup was more water and broth. The same with the other item. I felt the need for to eat something with noodles. So I looked into GrubHub to see what they had to offer. This was a big mistake. The GrubHub person just dropped the food at the front of my door without ringing the bell, or knocking on the door. ..... I only happened to find it because the tracking app said they were here. I looked outside the door and there it was..... sitting on the floor, getting cold, whoever the deal every person was with an idiot and incompetent. I ordered sweet-and-sour stirfry , Fish cakes, House, salad, cucumber, salad, drunken noodle, large Thai iced tea.... The only thing a halfway decent was probably the large Thai iced tea and that was $6.50 I paid $12 for the house salad, eight dollars for the cucumber salad, $15 for the drunken noodle and $15 for the sweet-and-sour stirfry. The drunken noodle were just plain noodles with no flavor whatsoever and a little bit of tough beef .. I could make this myself and made it taste a whole lot better.... The sweet and sour stirfry had a ridiculous small portion for the over price of $15... I'm not gonna waste my time and tell you how bad that small portions and over priced food was overall .... I stopped in to grab some takeout, trying the restaurant for the first time. Restaurant seemed very clean, and the staff was very nice and attentive. While I waited for my food, a gentleman offered me a complimentary Thai iced tea as I waited. My wife and I had the fried rice (which has chicken and shrimp), a chicken stir fry, and pot stickers. We felt the chicken and shrimp were cooked perfectly and food was overall very good. Not over powering with sauces, which we prefer. I'm so disappointed I DoorDash this food. It was absolute garbage. I don't know what these reviews are talking about the pad Thai was nothing authentic. It was saucy and oversaturated. There was no fresh vegetables in it no lime no nothing no utensils no napkins and they literally give you dry. Cabbage with barely steamed shrimp as the shrimp rolls and some kind of weird house made sauce. This place is garbage and they're literally extorting people for money. I can't believe that people are rating this place four out of five stars. They're such better places than this crap I'm so disappointed it cost me over $40 to DoorDash two items and a Vietnamese coffee and it was garbage I thought maybe I was just emotional after the food so I even let my partner try it and he said it was nasty too I just don't get it how people are allowed to serve this kind of food to people and take their money and it's just bottom of the barrel. There were great reviews and I was intrigued by the Thai Lao infusion. I ordered her usual: Tom Ka soup and red curry. Watching the doordash app I was impressed on how fast they made the food. I was in Fair Oaks today at lunchtime so I fired up my Yelp app to find a new place to me for Thai food. This place looked like a winner with 4 1/2 stars. Plus, my buddy Rachelle had left a 5-star review. I have to agree with her too. This restaurant is fully a 5-star gastronomic treat! I looked at the menu here on Yelp and knew I wanted the Fried Rice with chicken. The owner seated me and I ordered. A minute or so later he brought me a cup of veggie soup that was good. Before I could finish it my rice was delivered. It looked very tasty and I could tell by the looks of it that it wasn't overcooked. It was garnished with a little cabbage and an orange slice. I requested some Thai chilis in fish sauce and they brought it right over to my table. The plate was an average sized serving. I took a taste and it was perfect. Cooked just right and great flavor! There was no reason to rush through lunch so I took my time and finished the whole plate of rice and chicken. It was loaded with chicken also. This was the Lunch Special and it was $7.95. Ordered thru DoorDash and I got the Tom yum soup, angel wings and larb. I was so excited for the Tom yum but when I tried it, my bf and I were really disappointed.
