Stopped in for a quick lunch. I got the spicy chicken pad Thai and my wife got the veggie pad Thai. The portions were small, but perfect for lunch. They offer beer and wine too. The restaurant itself isn't anything fancy at all. But the service was very quick and friendly. If in the area it'd be my Thai go to. Especially for to go. read more

This is 100% our favorite Thai in Myrtle Beach. Massaman is my favorite Thai dish and it is hard to come by. Many Thai restaurants don't have it for good reasons, it is difficult to make. This place makes it very good. Top 2 that I have ever had from over a dozen different Thai restaurants from East to West Coast. The red curry was absolutely on point as well. That is my wife's favorite dish (w/chicken) and she loved it. The fried rice with beef was also a hit with my kids and us parents thoroughly enjoyed a few bites. read more

First off, this is definitely a tourist priced place. Don't expect to come here for cheap hole in the wall Thai food. The front is unassuming, but the interior is nicely appointed and comfortable. As for the food, it's quite good. Excellent flavor and no spice bombs unless you ask. The chef has a special roll he made that tastes like eating coconut shrimp. It's unique and flavorful. He even came out to explain the roll to us, which was nice. Everyone was friendly, and service was prompt. read more

This is a hidden gem. Do not miss! Vegan options to full on seafood. The taste is incredible and there are so many options. The women running this joint are friendly and helpful if you're unsure about menu items. There are many small tables and a few bigger ones. The place is clean and the atmosphere feels warm and cozy. read more

I was in Myrtle Beach for a concert and this restaurant was right across from our parking lot. We decided to try it out for lunch and were very pleased. I ordered a Pad Thai and it was not only a very well sized for the price, but also delicious. They are also very quick to get the food out and seem to be very efficient. It can be tough to find a quality and fair restaurant in Myrtle but this place seemed to excel in both areas. read more

We came here with a group for lunch on a Wednesday. The restaurant was about half full and the restaurant was able to efficiently sit us, take our order and serve. The waitress was overall accommodating especially since we had a vegetarian with us. We found the vegetarian menu to have a good variety at a great price! There are also nice soup and egg roll to start that is included. The restaurant quality was overall good including the bathrooms especially for the price range. Our only major grip is the fried rice dish and the eggplant dish were waaayyy too salty but the quality and freshness were goood. We would come again but make sure to ask for less salt if possible. read more

I was missing Thai food after moving from san jose, CA. This restaurant made me feel like am eating that yummy Thai food which i was missing. The food here is so tasty and flavorful. We went their for lunch. We ordered Tom yum soup with tofu, chicken wings and Thai curry fried rice. Soup was so yummy with tofu and mushrooms. Chicken wings are crispy outside and juicy inside. Thai curry fried rice comes with raisins. When saw it first, i was not willing to taste it, but when you try it you dont leave any of the raisins. The fried rice was very good and tasty. We didn't get a chance to try desserts since we are full with the huge quantity of rice. Food: 4 Service: 4 Ambience: 3 This restaurant is on main road, so you can park in streets next to the restaurant. It is free on Monday- Saturday, not on Sunday. I came here with my family at night and they took orders and served us efficiently. I got the Thai tea (my go-to). You basically choose a sauce/ flavor base for fried rices, stir fry, etc and then pair it with a protein. I got shrimp fried rice! 10/10!!! P.S. the lady working was funny and nice! I am so stuffed. Thai Lao is an unassuming little restaurant. BE CAREFUL! There are two Thai restaurants next door to each other. Thai Lao and Thai Cuisine are two different restaurants. I was here on Dec 26. You never know what type of freshness to expect on the day after Christmas. However, everything was fresh and delicious. The menu at Thai Lao has something for everyone. My family had seafood yellow curry, fried calamari, dumplings, spring rolls, pork Thai noodles, tempura ice cream, and more. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. I'm taking home enough for another 2 meals. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and it's family style ambiance. If you're looking for luxury seating and decor, that's not their specialty. However, if you're looking for delicious Thai food, stop here when you're in Myrtle Beach. If you have room for dessert, try the tempura ice cream or Thai donut. read more

This place is amazing! We started with crab Rangoon and the Golden Triangles (fried tofu) both were delicious but the crab Rangoon was to die for!! Awesome find!! I loved everything about this place. A very family style venue, makes you feel cozy and comfortable, the two ladies who served us had the BEST energy and made the meal and experience even more enjoyable. The food- the have LARP which is very hard to find but they had it. And it was delicious, you can get the options of cook or raw on the beef. I like mine raw. Also order papaya salad and that was bomb too. My favorite dish is the fish cake!! That's even harder to find then larp but they have it and made it to perfection, I love all the different dipping sauces you get with your order also. And do your self a favor and get the wings too. I highly recommend this restaurant, authentic Laos and Thai food with awesome people serving it. read more

Thai and Lao cuisine in one place. Need to check this out to see what they are serving. This place is busy at lunch time. Many are coming for a good meal. The restaurant is very traditional Siam cuisine. They have a few Lao dishes. We have skip all Thai and go with Lao. We have order the Thai Lao Spare Pork Ribs and the traditional Lao dish Larb and Sticky Rice. The spare ribs are bit hard to bite. The meat is not separate from the bone. You need a good teeth to enjoy this dish. However, they have good seasoning and they are deep fried. The Larb are the ground pork with tripe and serve in lime juice. It has chili, cilantro, shallots and lettuce. The juice on this pork is very nice. I like it spicy. It go well with sticky rice. Service, food delivery, and check out are on point. read more

Not that tasty kinda bland. A let down. I then tasted the tom ka. Ehhh nothing to write home about. The pad Thai with beef was so chewy ! It had cartilage and gristle. The curry was good. We called to complain. The lady said come in to get a new item. I wasn't driving back 20 min for a soup. Overall, so disappointing. I don't know who gave this place 5 stars. Maybe people who don't eat Thai food all the time or been to Thailand. But this was not authentic. Oh yeah chicken nuggets were soggy and so were the fries.

For dinner we ordered chicken green curry and Thai Lao Spare pork ribs. Green curry was very delicious and filled with flavorful spices. Spare pork ribs were dry and couldn't chewy easily. They are only open from 2 - 8 pm on Wed - Sat, so my wife and I made it a point to go there around 3 on a Thursday. We were the only customers during that time, and got to speak at length with Mike, the co-owner. We really enjoyed it, though their pricing could be altered to be more consistent. The plaza and surrounding area isn't much to look at, and the Grille is not visible from the road. One really has to make an effort to get here. We really liked how the inside was decorated, with a mishmash of Filipino culture on one side (including a pretty good mural of Manny Pacquaio) and a large nature scene (painted by Mike) that gets added to with cinema characters when he gets inspired (examples being Chunk from the Goonies, Sebastian from the Little Mermaid, and my favorite: Frank Dux from Bloodsport). There is even an official arm wrestling setup at one of the dining tables, inspired by the movie 'Over the Top'. Drinks are strictly cans (soda for $2) and bottles. The menu is very focused, nothing too complicated, and very tasty. They were out of the wings and burger that afternoon, but we were here for the Filipino entrees so there were no issues. Lumpia Meal ($13.99) - comes with your choice of three lumpia and rice. What's a little disheartening is that the price of the meal is actually higher than if you ordered the items individually ($11.96 : lumpia and one scoop of rice are all $2.99 each) Regardless of the reason, that's not a consumer friendly thing at all. I really liked the variety of the lumpia, which had been fried very well (crunchiness is always good). The gyro was different, with the side of tzatziki sauce adding a lot of flavor. My favorite was the TNA (Taters and Adobo), the mix worked really well. What I thought would work well (the bulgogi mac n cheese) was OK, probably because there wasn't much filling or flavor. Chicken Adobo Meal ($13.99) - no pork adobo today, so got the chicken. It was OK, decent flavor, but small amounts of chicken breast. We added a pork skewer for $2.99. It had been glazed with banana ketchup and grilled over an open flame. Street BBQ Skewers ($13.99) - liked the pork skewers, so got three more in a meal. It has the same addition problem (individually priced, it adds up to $11.96, less than the meal). The meat pieces on these seemed even smaller, and some of the cuts were grisly. Mike did suggest I get the small fruit salad for dessert ($1.49) and it was good. Reminded me of halo halo, except smaller and without the beans. Lumpia is definitely the thing to get here.
