Being half Asian myself, I like to try different experiences outside of my own family cooking. The skewers was really good. the restaurant felt like being in a Filipino home with the decor to the friendly warm welcome from the owner. Talking to the owner and hearing his story behind the vision of his restaurant is amazing. Come support this Filipino/American grille. you won't be disappointed! I enjoyed the food and experience!

Took out couple meals and we were pleasantly surprised on the good Filipino food. One of the workers was very polite and quick with giving me my order. It looked clean and well organized for a smaller restaurant. I will be back soon.

**I do not own this business, nor work here, just an average local-eating local, and giving my honest review** Tried a fairly new place out today- "Manila Grille", Filipino Fusion! Located off #17 Business over in the strip mall by Ollie's in Surfside. It's a little place, with a little menu, ...but jam packed with flavor! Don't let the sketchy strip mall scare you off, this place is definitely worth it! Plenty of parking, not over-priced, no "extra" taxes, delicious food, and one of a kind charm! Opened this past spring of 2023 by two of the nicest guys: Michael Martin & Matt Lamb. Michael is also the artist that painted the big mural loaded with little Easter Egg, semi-hidden paintings of some of their favorite t.v shows & characters, such as: Chunk from the Goonies, Spider Man, Harry Potter, E.T., Space Balls, O Brother Where Art Thou, and many more! A nostalgic and unique nod to some fan favs! The whole place has a funky, eclectic VIBE and is just a breath of fresh air from most of the traditional restaurants in the area. The menu is kept small for now, as they are starting out, but it is filled with good variety. I opted for the traditional Lumpia (just $3 each!!!) and some of the marinated pork skewers ($3 each, so I got two of the spicy skewers). **Available in regular or spicy. Washed it down with a bottle of Gold Peak Tea. YUM! The lumpia was filled with finely ground pork & vegetables with the crispiest, flakiest wrapper, and the pork was tender, full of flavor, and bite sized pieces. It was perfect, & exceeded my expectations. Run... don't walk, and get yourself over to the Manila Grille and show these guys some love! Be sure to spot the HUGE neon green gorilla (the same one on logo) way up above the front cashier desk. Oooh, and be sure to wash your filthy hands if you go to the bathroom....Jesus is watching! **

So when we came to Myrtle Beach for our family vacation one of the things I really wanted to try was some great authentic whole hog Carolina BBQ. This is the place. I remember seeing Scott's come up on a few shows I had watched and I also saw Rodney on a few YouTube videos, so I was excited to try it out. There's a lot of history here. The staff here are all very welcoming and super friendly. The young women behind the counter were all very helpful. For food we went with the bbq plate, rib plate, and chicken plate. All of the meats were tender and delicious. In this region of Carolina the sauce is primarily a vinegar pepper sauce which I really enjoyed. The tables are set up in the perfect spot, right outside the hanger where they cook the meats... so all the delicious smells from the smoke and meats come wafting through. It's a great experience. My hats off to the staff and family for all their hard work and dedication to the craft. The foods delicious and made with love. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're looking for some great whole hog bbq. Thanks again!

It s location is just off the main highway in a nice shared retail space with plenty of parking and very little traffic. The food is fast and delicious Mediterranean food. I'm a sucker for shawarma and this one is cooked well. The hummus and pizza were the other items I tasted and they were an A+. The only issue is that the soda drink options have no refills because you have to order by the bottle. If that's my biggest complaint then this plus is alright! Mediterranean is one of those places that can make everyone in the group happy no matter their diet. This restaurant kept up with our hunger and made everyone happy in the group. Before before getting to the food, the space was inviting and had a lot of cool touches. And the service was great! My wife, youngest, and I shared a number of plates. Some of the first include included the Kinilaw, the Lumpia, and the Laing. The Kinilaw is a yellow tuna dish. The tuna melted in your mouth and the flavors from the coconut-leche dressing, ginger, and jalapeño, as well as the fresh mint, added to the flavor palette. I didn't try the Lumpia because it is skinny spring rolls made with ground pork. My wife and youngest said they were great in really enjoyed the taste. The Laing was a vegetable dish involving creamy brace kale with garlic, ginger, and coconut milk. Of course it sounds different and it was, but in a really good way. Again, the way the flavors worked together was really great. The last dish we got was the Curry. It is grilled red snapper with braised, mung beans, tempura sweet potatoes over coconut red curry sauce and rice. It was so good. Again, the flavors in this dish were amazing. The fish was cooked just right. And the way the dish worked together was a piece of culinary art. They also had cool cocktails, good beers, and even mocktails for our teenager. Our experience at Kultura was better than we even expected from looking at the menu online. If you find yourself in Charleston, do yourself a favor and check this place out.
