I've been getting take out during the pandemic and the food has been fairly consistent and tasty until now They raised prices recently and food quality has dropped I was able to overlook how disgustingly ugly the place looks but not anymore (the outside concrete steps need power washing, inside needs a massive make over as it's dark dingy and filthy) I ordered for 6:15 pickup Arrived early at 6:10 to grab it as soon as it was ready They handed me a bag with 6:00 pm on the tag So who knows if it was just sitting there before 6:00 Drive home and to my surprise the order was wrong I didn't get my asparagus chicken - they used green beans instead I ordered two fried rice beef - one mild and one hot Both had no spice what so ever I drive back to ask for them to give me the correct order They just took my food and dumped a huge pile of "spice dust" on top of it covering the fresh tomato and cucumber that was neatly sitting on top as garnish I said that it wasn't acceptable - they merely said "we'll mix it in for you" I decided to cut my losses and not contest it as they were clearly not concerned about customer satisfaction At home when I was finally able to unbox my food and try to unbury it from the pile of spice dust I found they only had a few pieces of beef - I really had to hunt for it Not only that the beef was tough as leather I am never going back The place does not deserve to last much longer I tried to support them by ordering frequently during the lockdowns If they don't care then why should I bother read more

My family and I have gone to Thai Lemon for years. Every time the service isn't very good. Last night we made a order to go, it took 1 extra hour. We waiting outside with 18 other people for pick up. This has been my families go to thai takeout for over a year now, but tonight will be our last time ordering from here. I ordered the fried rice hot (Hottest option) and there was absolutely no spice... The medium spice pad thai we ordered was much hotter. However they did provide a tiny little container of a chili sauce which is atypical. went on weekday in May 2024 at around 12 noon. no one else was in there eating. they were cooking behind a curtain for Uber or takeout. Much later she came to take our order. The food was expensive, lucky I had coupons. ordered curry and Thai Iced Coffee (4.50) coffee was terrible, it was old refrigerated coffee (tasted like the fridge) with a little milk in it. ewwww! I would have returned it but my friend convinced me to drink it. Friend had curry and tea. food was ok...The place itself was very cold and damp and dark on lower level with no heat on. i froze at the table in there. Never never again! The food menu is more diverse than any other Thai restaurant in West Linn, and this is arguably the best Thai restaurant in the Willamette Area. They don't seem to always have quite the number of beers on tap as one might come to expect. You know... from the menu and stuff. But there's actually something kind of endearing about that, when you become accustomed to it. And they always have some good ones. The wine selection seems quite extensive. The meals are very nicely prepared and delicious. The portions are modest, but fair. If you happen to be passing through the area around a meal time, this is a solid option. read more

Quaint little restaurant with some tables setup for outside dining. Decent selection of wines and beers on tap with a semi-full bar. About that bar...it's overflowing with wine bottles. It's not a sit down and drink bar. More like a holding area if you're waiting for pick up. It works! As far as food my go to is typically Pad Se Ew which is a little on the sweet side but nevertheless tasty and well prepared. My kids like it and they are way more picky than me so that's a plus. All of the Curry's hit the mark as well. Portions run a little small for what they charge. All in all a good option if your hanging out in West Linn. read more

Beware! I called to do a takeout order and got a girl named Nuni on the phone. She was very rude, so I told her I would just order online like I normally do. I ordered my usual meal of Pad Thai medium spicy. When I received the food, the Pad Thai was beyond spicy, filled with pepper seeds. I order from this place all the time, and I know exactly how spicy the dish is even at its hottest. This was clearly a revenge move on her end, and I am super disappointed. They used to be amazing. They have now messed up our Uber eats order 3 times in a row. This time they sent Tom Yum instead of the Tom Kha we ordered (coconut vs broth is easy to. My salad rolls used to come with a generous portion of peanut sauce. This last time they sent one 2 ounce container barely half full. But that wouldn't be a one star. Disappointing Had been here several times before, but something has changed. They now offer a HUGE selection of wine, beer and alcohol. It almost looks like a liquor store. Strange. My wife ordered a lemon drop, and tasted it and spit it out. The waiter had made it with salt instead of sugar...no joke. He apologized and blamed it on someone handing him the salt instead of sugar. Ok fine, but they should have taken it off the check. The wonton soup had a nice broth but was full of those frozen peas and carrots straight from the bags you buy in the super market. The lemongrass chicken was fine, but it was clearly reheated for us, along with the assorted vegetables. I could tell, because some of the veg were cold, and some were piping hot. Disappointing. We ordered some salad rolls to bring home for our daughter, and they appeared in 30 seconds, clearly having been grabbed out of the fridge in the back, vs. freshly made. After having survived our meal, we were presented the check, including the lemon drop, presented in an American Express check folio. I handed my Amex card to the waiter who took 5 steps and turned around and came back to the table to say: "we don't take American Express." Come on people, the writing on the folio says "We Welcome American Express." I don't care what card they want, I happily handed them a MasterCard, but it sort of sums up the experience. They are clearly trying hard...well, trying hard to sell a lot of wine and beer. We were offered some sort of discount if we bought a bottle of wine or three free beers if we bought three beers. I also noticed strange practice of getting ready for customers by pre-pouring glasses of water, placing a straw in each, and then shoving all of them in the fridge with no covering. Thai Lemon has been a staple of my West Linn experience ever since I got here. I usually get the yellow curry with some spice and tofu, and it's always delicious. The wait is sometimes long, and the inside of the place always seemed questionable, but it's definitely worth a stop by! read more

Got ridiculed when asked for more peanut sauce that we paid EXTRA for... and our meals came with none of the sides. Flavors are great... but $2.50 extra for shrimp and we only get 5? And the half full rice container that looked like it could have already had spoonfuls of rice scooped out... not cool. This most likely is the absolute worst Thai food we have ever almost had. I say almost because we could not bring ourselves to finish it. Lemon grass chicken was to be grilled, came deep friend as chicken fingers with no lemon grass and extremely dry! Pad Thai was overly heavy and greasy like big glob of noodles and brown gravy. Pot stickers appeared to be frozen an deep fried rather than original and pan seared. Was delivered the wrong beer but decided to keep it because the young man serving was so disorganized that I decided to just keep it. Even though they have tables outside, they had no plates so was served in to go boxes and plastic forks! I had expected more from a Thai restaurant in this part of the country. Our group of four ordered take out and paid $60 for small portions of a tofu pad Thai, veggie delight, som tum, pumpkin curry, mango & sticky rice, vegetarian egg rolls, and salad rolls. The only item that was good was the pumpkin curry, while all other items were just okay. Even with the 7 items we ordered, we barely had enough food for the 4 of us. I've had a lot of Thai food in my days, having been born in Thailand and lived in the states for many years. Overall I was not impressed with the food here. I live in Gladstone and had driven by this place several times and never had tried it until now. My boyfriend and I really liked the food here. I had the Pad Thai and he had a chicken curry dish. The glass of wine I had was decent, and my bf liked that the rice was in a heart shape. It tasted fresh and they know how to season it well to make it flavorful. It was was delightful. The service was a little bit slow at first, but they were busy. However, other than that service was good and overall the place was great. We will definitely be going back! read more

Woah, payed extra for beef substitution and the dish was 14 bucks! It's just a bunch of soggy broccoli with five pieces of chewy beef. Honestly, not worth going here. The curry was super watered down as well. Each ingredient was cut very small as to creat an illusion that there was more. One potato piece in the container. And the container wasn't full...kinda disappointed y'all. Food is good but DO NOT get it delivered. We usually order and pick up with little issues. But we have had it delivered twice, BOTH times they forgot rice on one of our orders and of the $15 dish they only offer $2.50 as a refund or they say you can come and pick it up (If I wanted to pick it up then I wouldn't have paid the extra $10+ for the delivery after tip...) The food is good but messing up a delivery is unacceptable so just go in and pick it up then double/triple check the order to make sure you got everything on your order. read more

Stopped here on a late Sunday evening traveling through and was excited to see a Thai food place still open. They were friending and no negative vibes considering we were the only people there at 8:30. We had Phad Thai and another noodle dish can't recall the name but #N3 with Tofu. Husband said Phad Thai with chicken was average. My #N3 had basil and wide noodles it was amazing. Lots of veggies and the noodles weren't sticky like they can be some places. Atmosphere was cozy, earthy feeling but a little chilly. Huge beer and wine selection with free wine tasting. Price was reasonable $10-13 for entrees. read more

I want to love this place because it's convenient and the people are nice. However, it's wildly inconsistent and some of the food is awful. For instance...the $9 salad rolls. There was 2/order and they were TINY (4 inches long by about an inch in diameter)...more the size of an egg roll. They had obviously been made some time earlier because the rice paper was tough and it was only filled with lettuce and a tiny piece of tofu. Not only were they ridiculously small, they were flavorless. I'd give them two, resounding thumbs down...especially for the price. We ordered a good basil dish that was delicious and Tom Kha soup. The soup was supposed to be "medium spice" but it would have burned the face off of Satan himself. I even enjoy very spicy food and typically order "hot" but this was painful. In fact, there were so many chili flakes, the soup was crunchy. I gave up after a small amount of wheezing and gulping water. It wasn't busy and I think with a small amount of effort, their food could be good. Unfortunately, it's a gamble. We got 1 good dish out of 3 items ordered. This is my new favorite Thai place! The food is amazing and the staff is warm and inviting. If you dine in at this restaurant, I suggest watching the TV on the far wall from the entrance for a couple of minutes before you order your food. It shows the food the restaurant has to offer on a continuous loop and was very helpful in helping me to make my decision. The next time I went I tried something new based on what was on the TV. There is not one good thing about this place. The first time we went there months ago, we took friends. The waiter was a d#ck, the food was so bad it was an insult. We swore we'd never go back. But last night we were craving thai and since it's the only place in the village, we decided to give them a second chance and do carry-out. The glass noodles "with vegetables" dish was nothing more than a sticky glob with, literally, just 8 tiny pieces of veggies, mostly bruised tomatoes, and mushrooms that weren't listed in the ingredients and something I don't eat. The chicken satay was supposed to come with a cucumber salad and that wasn't there. When I called to complain, the very rude guy who answered explained they don't make the cucumber salad anymore and refused to replace it with anything else. He also didn't seem to care one bit about the issues with the glass noodles dish. Basically, he couldn't have cared less. I don't know who owns this place, but knowing how they present the food and how they treat customers, I can't even imagine what's going on in that kitchen. read more

I've eaten at Thai Lemon half a dozen times now and I've never been impressed with the flavor of my food.

I really want to love it and I wish I could post a big fat 5 stars for it but the last 2 visits have left me really disappointed. Our first visit, the service was quick and nice. We ordered quickly and our appetizer came out within minutes. We ordered the crab puffs and they came out frozen in the inside. Not a nice start. We flagged our server and she quickly made it right. We ordered the wings, phad Thai and pineapple fried rice. The food was fantastic and we quickly dismissed the error with our appetizer. Our second visit, they forget our order. They didn't forget portions of it, they forgot the entire order. We watched as other tables that were seated after us, get their food and practically finish. The most disappointing part of this experience was they continued to help the other tables and walk right by us without even checking in. It wasn't until I flagged our server down and asked what happened to our order that they finally admitted after another 10 minutes that they did not put it in. They were apologetic, but offered nothing but their apologies for such a gross inconvenience. As I mentioned before, I like this place. The food is good but the service is just so inept, that I doubt we will be back. There are too many yummy Thai joints around town to get wrapped up in this one. read more

This is my go-to for thai food around West Linn. I always order the Chicken with Lemon Sauce and it is what I would request for my last meal if I was on death row. Thats extreme but it is a great dish. Great portions too, I feel like I'm getting a lot of bang for my buck there.
