The food was delectable and very fun to try all the different courses, and the wine pours were generous and, of course, delectable! We both had the Estate tastings along with the hamburger, French fries, and hush puppies. The hush puppies were so good -- crispy, flavorful, and served with a tasty spicy sauce. The burger with Gouda was delicious too! Our only hiccup was the fries, which were undercooked at first, but when we mentioned it, Abby immediately took care of it, and the fresh batch came out perfect. It was our first time visiting, and we loved the cozy mix of indoor and outdoor seating. This is exactly the kind of place I could see myself becoming a regular at. Great wine, good food, and even better service.

Our chicken was dry as well. Maybe that's normal for them as they're trying to give the people space for more talk. My wife was really hungry so I ended up having to get up and ask for help. OK, so the fries were not as crispy as we'd like but that's not a dealbreaker. The space is great, the upstairs is nice and woody and warm, with a patio overlooking the street giving it a Euro vibe.

It made the dish unnecessarily greasy and they didn't add any flavor or texture that enhanced the dish. Confetti of lentils - five stars! Superb flavor for everything. Lentils were awesome and the red peppers had a smokey vinegar flavor which reminded me of pizza! Would absolutely order again. Black Cod special - unfortunately we were very disappointed with this one! For the $38 price tag you get a speck of fish, which was cooked to perfection but poor flavor, and the edemame puree didn't help mask it. The bar has an awesome atmosphere too. Especially once it gets dark outside the mood of the bar becomes even more intimate and inviting. View is stunning in the daytime so you can't go wrong anytime of day. Janice was a peach as a server and Molly the manager was a doll to work with with our gift card hiccup. Overall I give this a 4.5 but was happy to round up to a five. You could tell it's a place of regulars who frequent this restaurant as most of the bar tops and tables had 'reserved' plaques on them. There are even individual names with a gold plate labeled at specific bar-top seats. Kinda cool way to involve the community and acknowledge its people. The restaurant itself is huge and has multiple themed rooms and a front and side bar (ski lodge, surf shack, tiki shack outside, etc). We got a sun-dried tomato pesto pasta and the burrata pizza. They were both fresh and really delicious. Im excited to try other dishes and return on another evening with live jazz (what they're known for), which I hear does involve a cover charge though! So I'd lookup their daily live events on their website before heading out so it's not a surprise.

At times it seemed she was too busy socializing to pay attention to her customers. I'm happy to pay a cover for the music, it was well worth it, but I don't feel the server's tip calculation should include that.

Dear Heidi, I wanted to reach out regarding our dinner…read moreexperience on Saturday, August 26, as unfortunately, it was quite disappointing, particularly because we were there to celebrate a special birthday. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt underwhelming. We stopped at the bar before dinner and were not greeted with the warmth or hospitality we would have expected. During our meal, I also never saw a manager checking in with guests or anyone making an effort to ensure that diners were enjoying their experience. The most troubling part of the evening, however, was my Shrimp Salad. While the four prawns were beautiful in size, they had not been properly shelled or deveined. When I took my first bite, I discovered that the shrimp still contained the digestive tract and a piece of shell. I actually had to remove it from my mouth at the table. The experience was extremely unpleasant. There was a noticeable grit and taste that completely ruined the dish for me and the lettuce had not been cut up at all, I had to clean the shrimp with my hands at the table before I could eat my dinner. In all my years of dining at fine restaurants, I have never been served large prawns that had not been properly cleaned and deveined. This is especially surprising in an establishment where I would expect a much higher level of attention to food preparation and presentation. What was intended to be a special birthday celebration unfortunately became an evening marked by disappointment. I felt it was important to bring this to your attention, both because of the food preparation issue and because the overall lack of attentiveness made the experience feel as though our presence was not particularly valued. I would appreciate hearing from you regarding this experience. Extremely disappointing food, no one should have to clean their food before they can eat it.
