In the end, I ended up settling for the braised beef Khao Soi, which is a northern Thai specialty and hard to find in most Thai restaurants. When I see it on the menu, I bypass my usual dishes and have to try it. The Khao Soi broth was absolutely delicious and flavorful with a good kick of spiciness. The beef was tender (they also make the dish with chicken but it's thigh and leg, so I went for the beef). Overall, no regrets ordering the Khao Soi. My companion had the Pad Thai with pork and it was equally delicious! This restaurant uses thinner noodles for their Pad Thai but it made no difference; it was great! There's plenty of street parking (enforced M-F until 5pm). Don't miss this spot, which also has sister restaurants in Staunton and Culpeper, VA and a couple other locations in West Virginia.
