YOU NEED TO CHECK OUT THAI LUNCH BOX! Goodness, they're so good. They're 3 mins from my job and each time I ordered my food it's ready in less that 10 mins. The portion size is well worth the money and the taste even more so. The Pad Thai comes with the sauce separate with makes portioning for left overs a breeze and the yellow curry is so tasty. The flavors of the curry develop even more when you it as left overs. The owner is a sweet gentleman who is always so kind when he greets and serves you! My coworker and I walked down to Thai Lunch Box for lunch from the Heart Institute. We had never been and were pressed for time so we weren't sure how it would go. We got there just after they opened and we were served very quickly, we were able to get back to our desks within 30 minutes. It appears to be a potentially abandoned house with a big empty lot next to it But because of the recommendations we decided to go for it. Don't let the looks fool you. The food is delicious and packed full of flavor. I got the pad Thai. If you added one more serving of chicken the order could've easily fed two people. The portions were generous! PROS: Big portion Plenty of peanut sauce, no dry noodles Quick service Cheap ($7 tax included) Cons: Tasted just a little off as far as spices go Very small amount of chicken This little dry "salad" was included. Salad without dressing is a huge pet peeve of mine. I might be back to try something else off of the menu. Limited menu but the food is delicious! Owner was very helpful on the phone. When I arrived to pick up the order, he let me know that he added a couple of pieces of their house made sausage for me to try. Ordered red curry and pad Thai. Rice was perfectly cooked. Veggies were bright and fresh. Don't try to give me wilty cilantro Pad Thai sauce on the side, nice touch. Food was excellent. We are going to make this a regular lunch option in our office. I haven't been here before but noticed that they sold Banh Mi! There's really not much of an option for Bun Mi's here in Spokane so I thought I'd give it a whirl. I was expecting a food truck when I came here but instead it was a remodeled house now restaurant. I picked out the Banh Mi which was $8 and there was 3 options for protein. I chose the Pork Sausage. When we pulled into the lot of what looked like an abandoned shack and saw a car with the window smashed outside, we didn't exactly know what to expect. I got the pad thai and thai iced tea and both were fairly average. It was decent enough to fulfill my thai food craving, but I also thought the serving was small and the taste was a little bland for the price. When we were there, there was only one person running the whole show so it took a bit of time to get the food, but he was very nice and made small talk with us. This might not be earth shattering to you... but the food ACTUALLY comes in a box. That means no plates, and no having to ask for "to go" boxes... because you've already got yours. That means they get an extra star just for efficiency in my Yelp book. Now, on to the food: I had a combo of Chicken Pad Thai and Red Curry Sausage. The Pad Thai was nice, but not hot at all. I should have specified that I like mine hot; this was merely somewhat spicy, with pleasant peanut sauce, and nice grill marks on the chicken. The sausage was very tasty, but again, not very hot. I'd recommend that if you like HOT spicy Thai food, you'd better ask them to kick it up a notch or four. read more

This place is wonderful. I got the Banh mi and it was fantastic. Filled with red curry pork, pickled carrots and dycon radish, cucumbers, cilantro and fresh jalapeños all on a fresh baked bread. There is also Sriracha for additional flavor if you choose but I don't know why someone wouldn't, really adds a nice round flavor. $7.00 they have other wonderful items such as; pad Thai, satay and Thai iced tea. Hands down the best Thai food in Spokane. I've been to pretty much every Thai restaurant in Spokane and not one can compare to this place. I would give it 5 stars except for the fact that their menu is limited. Also parking is tricky and they are only open for lunch on weekdays. It's pretty impressive that a lunch truck can make better Thai food than all of the Thai restaurants in Spokane. Their Thai tea is even better than most. Their pricing is also cheaper than most. I popped in for lunch to go and asked for whatever came out the fastest. The boss made me the pad thai in a few minutes and it was not a let down. I have had myself considerable amounts of thai and banh mi in my time, so I like to think I know when something is good. Just devoured a chicken satay banh mi from Thai Lunch Box and... WOW. The satay was excellently spiced, the marinated veggies were the perfect amount of sweet and sour, bread was fresh and toasted, lots of cilantro, and the peanut sauce and mayo were tops and, most of all, FRESH and HOMEMADE. Prices are fair, super nice owners - GO HERE. They're just at the bottom of Browne hill, below Sacred Heart. I will update as I work my way through the simple, but delicious menu. UPDATE - Got a double order of chicken satay pad thai - really good. It is served with no added heat, so sriacha for those who like hot is necessary. Not to mention, the serving size is considerable, given it's only $8. Also came with some raw cabbage slaw, which, admittedly, I wish was tossed with some sort of vinaigrette. The pricing is cheap. I wouldn't call it authentic Thai food per my taste. Ordered the pad Thai and pork curry combo. The peanut sauce for the pad Thai was good. I didn't like the pork curry. Tasted like some ingredients for both dishes were missing in flavor. There was a random small portion of salad in the middle. Excellent portions and the peanut sauce is amazing. I usually eat vegetarian when I'm out, and they do not disappoint. The Vegetarian Phai is excellent--if you're not familiar, the shredded cabbage and carrots are meant to be mixed into the noodles. I've seen a couple of commenters mention a 'dry salad' but that's not what it is......Today I had the Banh Mi with tofu and peanut sauce instead of meat.
