    Drunken noodles

Needed someplace to go for dinner on Christmas Day because neither my husband and I wanted to cook and the kids didn't come to visit for the holiday- so Thai Pot Cafe was open!! Yes! If you love noodles this is the spot to get them from!!! Spicy and what I found out is that they make the wide noodles in house!!! You can not beat that!! They put jalapeños peppers and spouts in them to give them a kick for sure! Only thing I wish is that they had mushrooms and I could add shrimp to my dish. . Neither here nor there I love those noodles! I also ordered an appetizer the shrimp wrap but hmmm I would not recommend that - no flavor at all and it looked intense. My husband ordered something that looked like it came out of an alien movie but the shrimp In the dish was great so he gave me a piece of his shrimp. My mother in law ordered the fish...hmm she didn't like it because it was really spicy and chewy.. My brother in law ordered an amazing iced chai coffee!!!! Delicious!! Not sure what his meal was but he ate it all! If you looking for fresh drunken noodles Thai pot is the place to go! If you want carry out order early!

Plenty of parking. Nice touch of umbrellas on the ceiling. Service was good. Food was on slightly higher side but this seems to be trend on most of Thai restaurants. The sampler platter was ok. So was my Kang Keow Waan (green currie). Tom Yom soup was ok. Nothing really stood out. Maybe I was too afraid of their spicy levels? Everything i ordered was on mild side. My friend ordered fried rice which was good. Repeat

Penang curry. Tasted like regular curry.

Met up with some cousins here for dinner on a Wednesday night around 6pm. We were seated quickly and the place was pretty busy. What we swallowed: *TOM KHA: This was watery. OK flavor. *BASIL CHICKEN: This was pretty good *PAD SEE EWE WITH BEEF: This was the best dish out of everything we ordered. Flavorful. Delicious *PAD THAI: good flavor *RED CURRY: Why was it yellow? *PENANG CURRY: Yellow curry that tasted just like "red" yellow curry. It didn't have that distinct 'penang' taste, just plain curry. *GLASS NOODLE SALAD: Refreshing and tasty We ordered a lot of dishes and I would say they were all decent. Not sure why the red curry was yellow and my penang curry just tasted like curry, not that distinct penang taste. Our server was nice but we all agreed this place was a hard decent.

Best Thai food I have ever had. Fresh, not oily like most Thai food. Service is great. Tried almost every dish on the menu and they are all the best. Pad Thai is my favorite. Drunken noodles (Pad Kee Mao) 2nd then Pad See Ew. Salad is good and soup too. Used to be in small strip mall in one slot but now triple in size. Get there early for lunch! Outside seating during warmer months is nice to just hang.

Had dinner here with my mom and little brother after some shopping! Great ambiance, amazing service. Attentive, quick, clean location! Our server kept checking in on us making sure everything was to our liking. Food was amazing! Definitely will be my main spot when I visit from Florida for some Thai.

They had a large party this evening but we let them know we can make it within 20 minutes - so they held a small table for us. Major kudos! After arriving, we were seated immediately. A good amount of seating. Clean along with lovely decor. Definitely was packed on a Friday a little before 7:30PM. They also checked in with us from time to time to see when we were ready for our orders. I didnt realize untol afterward they were wanting to do us a solid by getting ours in before the party of 26 arrived in full and began with their orders. Now that's service! We ordered quite a few dishes - the ones I could remember were: The sampler Platter- Duck Wonton, fried shrimp and chicken Satay Thai BBQ chicken Tom Yum noodle soup (chicken) Pad See Ew Mango Sticky Rice Tell you what. All dishes were legit delicious. I probably should have went beef with the Tom Yum. Wasn't expecting an above average Thai place in Denver, but here we are. The service was exceptional. The mix of spice and lime elevated the coconut broth. I like that I was able to choose the spice level. The Tom Kha was served as a soup only which I was able to finish on my own. This could easily be a shareable dish if served with rice or if looking to kick up the comfort-food level a notch. Hey Bangkok! is clean, with plenty of seating, and the employees were kind and friendly. They checked on me several times to ensure I was comfortable and had all I needed to enjoy my meal. I deducted one star because I wishes they have more seasonal menu rotation, so I can try something new when I come visit here. The menu is pretty limited in my view. I want Pork congee or Khao khuk kapi in the rotation menu. Our go to spot when we visited Denver Botanical garden :)

Not just a little, it added an almost acrid flavor. The chicken was cooked fine. We ordered the cha siu and tom yum Noodles. The cha siu was fine, but, definitely overcooked, the lack of sauce just made it just a cooked piece of pork, rather than what is truly "cha siu" I truly had a gripe with the $24 tom yum noodles. Immediately as I arrived I knew what this was - this is mama noodles, $0.25 cent mama noodles packets but made with spaghetti - and completely salty and inedible at that. Truly, the profit margin on this dish must be astronomical. // I just checked, they were going to charge me $28 dollars - I asked to sub out shrimp since I was allergic, and TWO pieces of tofu was an additional $24+4 - insane? We had the eggplant as a replacement, it was fine. My server attempted to explain away the tom yum noodles as being too "green onion forward" - lady, I literally make mama noodles at home everyday. Don't sell me a fake story. It's an okay restaurant, slightly higher prices due to its renown. But it's clear the owners are not Chinese, Thai or Korean. At this point in my life, I don't like leaving a bad review, but mid food layered with mild deceit leaves a bad taste.
