I've been going to Thai Noodle for about two years now, don't know why I haven't written a review. Whenever I'm trying a new Thai restaurant, I always order my staples - Pad See Ew and Tom Kha Gai. If they aren't good, I won't come back to try any of their other dishes. Thai Noodle does not disappoint! Especially when you're expecting a late night studying for an exam the next day. Pad See Ew is cooked with the right amount of veggies and taste. Noodles are not overdone. Tom Kha Gai is super fishy, but my fiance and I love it that way. I've also had one of their bamboo dishes (I think it was Pad Prig Nor Mai), but it was disappointing and wouldn't order it again. Their spring rolls are actually pretty good. Decent size and stuffing to them. I also like to order their calamari, but the last few times I've ordered it, the breading has been soggy. Friday nights and weekends can get crowded so expect a wait. I usually call in a to go order and when they're slammed, it can take up to 30 minutes for my to go order to be completed. They seem a bit shorthanded when I came in yesterday night to pick up my order so I had to wait a bit longer than usual. But knowing the quality of the food and the fact that the workers are working as fast as they can, I'm willing to wait for my food. read more

This was a favorite of mine for Pad Thai but as of the last 2 visits I'm not sure I'll be back. Both times I've ordered and been charged for extra ingredients I did not receive. The most recent visit I chose spicy to the mild (no middle option) as I wanted a little kick and frequently eat spicy foods with zero issue. The noodles were so spicy it was hard to taste anything else. There were at least 100 seeds of I'm assuming chili peppers on the dish - which I regret not photographing. I asked for extra lime and was charged $1 extra but received only 1 wedge in total, half the size of a regular wedge. I ended up walking over to Safeway mid meal to buy more lime in hopes it would cut the spice a little but to no avail. I ended up throwing away half the dish after first trying to rinse the noodles (I know - pathetic) because I was so irritated throwing away over $25 in food (my husband did the same, as he ordered the same meal and couldn't stomach it.) Update: disregard my previous review. Ate here a year later and the was not the same in the slightest. So disappointing, as I drove a ways to get here. Tasteless Pad Thai and thin, watered down curry. Just so disappointed with the direction one of my old favorites took. Can't recommend anymore. -- This place is great! While being a little on the spendy side, it's worth it - even for takeout. The mobile ordering puts it over the top, and they don't treat it like a unusual way to order. Really good! I'm not generally a big Thai food fan but this place has some tasty SFW (Safe For Whites) dishes. The grilled, marinated beef with sticky rice is delicious! Such a good sear on the beef! The pad see ew is also excellent! The noodles are thick and wonderfully chewy. The broccolis are tender. One suggestion I would make is to request eggs as your meat. It's not on the menu, but the eggs that come with the dish that are mixed with the aged soy sauce take this dish to the next level! read more

Pretty legit thai food. Hidden behind the mall. Drive around the complex and you can park right behind the plaza in front of the restaurant. Restaurant located beside the cinema. Pretty awesome stir fries and also noodle soups. Tried a bunch of stuff and liked most of them. Worth a visit :) read more

Oh jeez. I wanted some green curry on a rainy, windy Sunday and Thai Noodle Etc was the closet place with amazing reviews, so I decided to check it out. I'm still new to this side of the woods, moving from SE Portland, so I'm on the search for new and delicious spots. This was my first order via Yelp! I used the Eat24 option on the actual Yelp page, and poof, ordered! I arrived and had two people ahead of me for to-go and a fairly busy inside. Small space, yet open. Beautiful open beams, high ceilings, very warm & inviting. I instantly wanted to hang out with friends, watch the game and try some Khao Soi! I paid cash, so I do believe they waited till I got there to start, but I expected that and didn't mind the 10 min wait. :) The beef in this green curry was by far the BEST flavor I've ever tasted in curry. Yeah. I said it. It's what pushed my 3 star to 4. I was so surprised at how meaty and seared it tasted. A few tough/gristle pieces, but hey, that's why we got a dog. ;) The meat really shined through and help layer all these flavors into the perfect bite! The eggplant was perfect and again, I could taste fresh eggplant. I asked for it Spicy and I got it spicy ya'll. I was nose blowin' by the end of my $7.95 lunch green curry. Rice was perfectly sticky and just enough jasmine essence to curb those Thai cravings. Perfect rice/curry ratio and I'm shocked there were no leftovers. Actually ... No. No I'm not shocked. I order the drunken noodle. The taste of the recipe was on a very light low taste. After the pandemic there is no more happy hour. Lunch prices are still decent. The flavor has gone down because of supply and demand. I hope we bounce back as the united states back to the blessings we had before. Going out to eat, friends, family, so time, and more with groups gathering. I hope the flavors in the foods here get back to the real taste of true flavors instead of low flavors water down taste. I can't figure out how the decor and ambiance of this place matches what they serve. It is wooden to almost rustic, very western and yet they serve Thai? I like how high the ceilings and the window walls brings in natural light to the place. The bar is a little off putting but a good gem in a pile of rubbish stores around the area. The wontons are very tasty from the soup. The crab fried rice is more than what I can handle for, the serving is decent for two people at most. I was hungry so I pretty much had all one plate to myself. The staff is great. It seems like this is a family owned business. They also need to work on the name of the establishment. Greasiest Thai food I have ever had. We came here first before watching a movie down the street. We were in a bit of a hurry and the service was prompt. We ordered the spring rolls and they were so greasy that they were soggy and not crunchy. Also, you could taste the flour in the won ton wrapper so they were not cooked throughout. I ordered the pad see ew and the noodles were coated in oil and lacking soy sauce. My cousin got some tofu with noodle dish and the tofu looked raw. My husbands crab frid rice came out after we were half way through our meals and the crab tasted canned. Unfortunately Portland is inundated with Thai food so there is really no reason to come here when there are so many better options. read more

Thai Noodle has two huge things going against it. First there is the "curse" of it's location. The food court area of the mall has never been as popular as the mall owners apparently thought it would be this close to the movie theater. It doesn't help that the first tenants of this location - a high priced, low quality "dessert" shop didn't do so well either. The location sat empty for over a year before a brew pub (that didn't brew onsite) took up the location before it too succumbed to the lack of traffic through the mall. The second strike is the mere fact that Beaverton is inundated with Thai places. There are seven other Thai restaurants within walking distance of here. Then there is the fact that despite all these Thai places, the food all tastes the same to me. I have a hard time differentiating between dishes other than "that one had noodles, this one had rice" because most tend to be relatively flavorless in my opinion. These facts kept me from stopping by Thai Noodle up until the Yelp Elite Event held here. I went in fully expecting a poor to mediocre meal with nothing to differentiate it from the other seven Thai Places nearby. I'll let the dozen other reviews of that event speak for me, but I will say that my expectations were more than blown away. With the possibility that the Yelp Event was a fluke (after all they are putting on a show,) I was thinking the quality would slip a bit. After three more dining experiences spaced over the last couple of months and at different times, I can say that Thai Noodle is the real deal. The weakest part of the menu, and perhaps this is more a problem with Thai Cuisine in general, is that the appetizer selection is a bit thin. They have more options then the general Thai place does, but I have to wonder how often the frog legs, the fish cakes, and the fried tofu are ordered. The Angel wings are divine though, add a side of rice with these and they could be an entire, if somewhat messy, meal by themselves. I have yet to find a dish on the menu that disappoints though. The good part is when they ask how spicy and you say "Medium" or "Hot," they actually give it to you at a decent level instead of watering it down for American tastes. Their Tom Yum soup is probably the best version I've ever had. And the Massaman Curry is ALWAYS a must order when I go. While I enjoy the Neau Yang (Grilled Beef,) and the Pra Ram and its awesome peanut sauce, the Pad Kra Prao (Garlic Basil - I get ground beef,) is absolutely awesome. Each of these dishes bursts with flavor, but the garlic and basil mix of the last has become something that I'll crave periodically. Top this meal off with quite excellent service and I have to count Thai Noodle as one of the most pleasant dining experiences in the Beaverton Area. read more

We have found great Thai places in Beaverton before and I have given them almost this exact same review in the past. Then, within a matter of months, I have to change that review to 1 or 2 stars. Please don't that happen here, okay? They aren't quite perfect, but they're really good. I am overcritical of chicken anywhere, but definitely at Thai restaurants. Believe me, I've tried cooking in a wok myself and it isn't easy to get exactly right. But, you need to stop being so scared of sending out undercooked chicken. Yes, I appreciate my chicken being fully cooked, but an extra minute or so is fine, not an extra five minutes. Other than that, the food is really good. The boyfriend likes that they are able to make it truly spicy. Thai Noodle Etc is definitely our current go-to place for Thai in Beaverton. read more

Ordered take out they told me it would be ready in 25 minutes so I came 30 minutes later told me it still wasn't ready as they served other people who came way after me and ordered after me and they all got there food ended up waiting almost an hour and a half when they told me the food would be ready in 25 minutes slow and poor service don't recommend if you want to hair an hour and a half for your food and the food was mediocre at best pad Thai was way too sweet and ruined it completely and the pad sewe was undercooked read more

Tried Thai Noodle Etc for the first time the other night, and I'll definitely be back. I had mussaman curry beef, mild, with spring rolls. The food was very, very good. The spring rolls were tasty without being too greasy, and the curry was smooth and rich as it should be. The beef was tender and flavorful. One note, ordering it mild means (in my experience at least) no spice at all. Which, for me, is just fine. I sometimes have as hard time with spicy foods, but love the flavors so I just try to go as mild as I can. If you do want a little spice, I'd suggest maybe medium is closer to what you're looking for. I took my order to go, which I think was a good choice in this case. It was a very, very, 3 digits-hot day, which left it really stuffy in the restaurant. The interior is rather small with a few tables a bit too close to the cash register. I think in colder months this would translate to cozy, but on this hot August evening it would have been too close for comfort for me. But I got it home 10 minutes later and everything was still piping hot so to-go works well. In short, I had a craving for some mussaman curry and this was exactly what I wanted. My other favorite Thai place is in Hillsboro, convenient to work but until now I didn't have a Thai standby close to home. Now I do. read more

This place was good! Went to Powell's and ended up here for lunch. They have a good variety on their menu and the food was yummy. Spice levels are actually decent (I find Thai usually is). I think I got medium spice and I had a nice warm bite, but no fire and not beyond mild. Lots of veggie noodle options, makes me happy. I would come back here. read more

This place is a little deceiving from the outside. It's in the Cedar Hills mall, so I thought this was going to be a cheap & easy, generic asian restaurant - and I couldn't have been farther from the truth. Thai Noodle Etc is a great place that seems relatively authentic. Service was really friendly and efficient (but not pushy) and prices seemed pretty reasonable. I had Crab Fried Rice for less than $10 - it was loaded with crab and super delicious. My husband had already been there and raved about anything he had eaten before. The restaurant itself is also a nice break from the other chain restaurants in the area. It feels clean, calming, and classic. We had lunch so I went alcohol-free, but their wine list seemed decent at first glance, as well. We will definitely be back. read more

the name makes you think it's a generic, fast food thai place, but it's not. it's a small size restaurant that can get pretty busy. during "rush time", Saturday at 7pm, service is literally non-existent as they only have one waitress to service the whole place! so if you come during busy time, expect frustration and bare service. the food is actually pretty good however and very reasonably priced! my favorite dish was the garlic basil chicken! first time trying it and it was amazing. read more
