Tried to order over the phone but they were busy. Walked in and ordered the standard Pad Thai. Wait 10 min and tasted like noodles with ketchup, no Thai flavors at all. Also asked for extra boba, paid $1 extra and she gave me a cup of literally 10 extra boba balls for $1!! Wanted to support and like it but too bland, no taste or spices at all. If you like plain food that's not Thai food, go for it. Otherwise you will likely be disappointed. Would have given 1 star but the gal behind the register was super nice. read more

We got the massaman curry big portion fed multiple people everyone loved the taste , teriyaki chicken amazing dish sauce was tasty, egg rolls crunchy perfection and the Thai salad which was super great and fresh nice dressing and good flavor. One of the worst Thai food we had in California! We ordered Thai fried rice and found hair particles in our rice about 3 pieces of hair. Being a tourist, we traveled through and picked up some food and was disappointed. We got the summer rolls and the shrimps was spoiled. The way they made the summer rolls is like they cut up the vegetables in big sizes and wrapped it up. Our next order was pad Thai which was also bad. After eating it my son's stomach was having issues. The price was $70 and we felt ripped off cuz we couldn't eat the food and finding hair in our rice we definitely appetizer killer. My first time experience was not good. Did a phone order for pick up. They messed up my order, which I didn't notice until I got back to work. So I called to let them know, the person I talked with was rude and adamant, started arguing with me that this is what I ordered. I ordered the Pumpkin Curry but they gave me the Tom something ramen. They didn't even apologize. They just said there was nothing to do to rectify the situation. Hopefully in the future they can handle the situation better than what they did today. read more

Everything we have gotten here was great, and we eat a lot of Thai food. Only suggestion is if you want things kicked up let them know because the regular servings are not hot enough for us. But Habaneros are just a candy to us...lol! So just ask to have your meal spiced up say on a scale of 1 -5 around a 4. read more

The restaurant is super small, and hard to get seats. I would stick to getting orders to go. The tonkatsu shoyu ramen is just okay. I thought it was a bit bland and the portion was very small. Also had very little vegetables. The massaman curry is what gets a 4 star from me, it was piping hot but it was great. Flavorless and rude. Always thought this place was not that great and there was never much room - even at the new spot. So when I tried to call and no answer 30 minutes (tried once more, and they answered to hang up) before they closed for 2 appetizers, had my partner run in as he was driving by - still before they closed. I've eaten here before and had a good experience. I come in from out of town and stay very close. This past week we stopped by and had Green Curry, Drunken noodles and Pad Thai and the food was more bland than I remembered and felt a bit greasy on the noodles. We ordered the Tom Yum and the Spicy Tonkatsu Shoyu Pork. They were both amazing. The people working there were very friendly. It's a very tiny restaurant, which kind of adds to the charm. Very tiny. Two counters with three chairs, and two tables with two seats. They had a variety of spicy condiments - Thai peppers in fish sauce and lime, chili flakes in oil, chili paste, and sriracha. The Tonkatsu had lots of tasty mushrooms, and the pork was very good. The Tom Yum had plenty of shrimp, and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. I live about an hour away, and I could see driving to Placerville specifically to go to this place. It certainly will be on the agenda next time I'm anywhere nearby. read more

One of the girls in the kitchen was sitting on the counter where they prep the food, with her feet up on the cabinets! No one was wearing gloves. Kitchen full of girls with long hair and no hair nets! Regardless of Covid, that's just nasty. No one was wearing a mask, no surprise there. Besides all that, the food was terrible; cold, no flavor & stale. Pad Thai noodles were hard and uncooked, weird flavor, no joke, tasted like they just put jelly on noodles. When I when I had ordered the chicken and shrimp pad Thai and while it was really good and very tasty I was a little disappointed to only find for shrimp in there the parking can be a little bit challenging since it is in downtown Plasterville and parking can be limited but other than that the food itself is really good read more

We had the yellow curry chicken and it was out of this world with just the right amount of spice. We also had the spicy pork ramen bowl that was great and the pork was so tender. This place is so good, and quick! Definitely a to-go place and not a sit down place, but it's perfect for what it is. I order pad thai and yellow curry every time and they are delicious. They are typically done with my order within 10 minutes, which is impressive. I think only once out of 15 times it took 20 minutes and that was during a dinner rush. My sister and I ordered some chicken fried rice and Thai tea tonight. The fried rice was buttery and garlicky with tons of fresh veggies. The Thai tea was sweet and we were given a generous amount of boba pearls. Definitely coming back! New favorite food spot on Main Street. read more

Been hearing good things about this place. Got take-out and was really happy with everything. The main event: RAMAN. Wow, real, fragrant, rich, deeply flavorful and complex broth RAMAN. Have not seen this in Placerville ever, until now. The Thai entrees were equallty as awesome, but Placerville now has an upscale RAMAN place!! Yessss! And the prices are very reasonable. I had the Thai Noodle Soup with shrimp, chicken and vegetables. It was the best noodle soup I've ever had! The vegetables were cooked perfectly and the soup was delicious and flavorful. My husband had the drunken noodle and he said it was the best he's had too and we are avid Thai food eaters. The restaurant is very small and couldn't imagine what they do in the winter when they lose their outdoor eating area. We'll make this our go to place for sure whenever we drive through Placerville. I am so thrilled to finally have a place to grab some good ramen in town! The tonkotsu is absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself is tiny, maybe 8 total seats, but don't be afraid to order your food to go! They'll send you home with the broth in a separate container from the noodles and stuff.
